You know right if you just sit there at the crab rangoon place for like 15 minute he will come back and the game will finish.

This was my favorite far cry game, it had a great soundtrack and I loved Kyrat

There's a lot of rumors that Pagin Min was the secret good guy in the game and the Golden Path is evil (Secret ending shows they are bad guys)
I kinda wish you could team up with him i heard there was going to be a Pagin Min DLC where we can work with him but it got cancelled

If you don't shoot him in the ending you can put your mothers ashes next to Laskshmana and let Pagan fly away in his chopper if you want to (i prefer it)
Since Far Cry 2 I let the bad guy live if I have the choice if they aren't really bad. The Jackal for example I decided to let live if I had the choice. Throughout the game, (Far Cry 2), there are Jackal tapen you can find in the game. And I loved listening to them. In one tape he described a young man in his late teens taking off the boots of a fallen mercenary. And the Jackal said "The kid just looked old, beaten, tired. A kid that age, shouldn't look like that".
That's when I decided to let him live. Because if a man is concerned about a child, he can't be that bad.
Forward to Far Cry 4 I decided to kill Pagan Min in my first playthrough. Because he disregards human life like it's nothing. Same with Joseph Seed in Far Cry 5. It was totally fine with him that his people made a display of corpses of their victims. You can see them throughout the game hanging here and there. Someone that heartless needs to be gone.
it's my favorite far cry game so far , fc 3 was good too but idk why just people clinging on vaas so much and just a little more of story , but apart from that fc4 has much much more than that the environment has more dynamics , each area has different aesthetics , the vegetation has varieties which makes it different to previous area , while fc3 looks the same anywhere you go with just 3 primary color blue green and sand color and that's it , plus it has way more animal varieties and they're freaking powerful as well

As soon as I finished the game I restarted it and did that 😂.
I had to go chase our cattle out of the yard and returned to credits and a achievement that confused te hell out of me.

Troy Baker absolutely KILLED in his role as Pagan Min. Unbelievable performance.

Pagan Min is the best villian in the series, in my opinion. He is like a James Bond movie villian. I wish he was in the game more. Vaas was well acted for sure, but Pagan Min had that attitude, where he was terrifying and likeable at the same time. Like if you were not his enemy, he would be fun to hang out with... so long as you didn't let him down. 😂

His perfomance in Death Stranding is Oscar-worthy. He really made the game better. Without him, I would have been dreading yet another cutscene.

Far Cry 4 is my personal favorite. My friend and I would play online together and do nothing but use the bow for killing and try to get out of the map. The Himalayan setting was the cream of the crop for me :)

Far Cry 4 is my favourite because I played the game right after I went back from Bhutan and Nepal. Both Himalayan countries were beautiful and Far Cry 4 was a way for me to reconnect back, in a psychopathic way lol.
Ubisoft send their developers to Nap to get an idea how to design the game.

My biggest problem with this game is that it doens't give you the option to become what you really should be, the new king of kyrat. The endgame should be take back every outpost and destroy the Golden Path and Amita or Sabal depending who you supported. Atleast you can kill them after their dump you, but it's not a mission or anything, just a npc you are able to kill. Ajay was completely used and no one respects him or fears him at the end

Both Amita and Sabal's ideologies are terrible.
I personally went with Sabal. Not because I think he's better, but more so because you can actually stop him. Once Sabal takes over, you meet him when he just began his plans. You kill him there, its over. But if you pick Amita, by the time you confront her, she's already kidnapped a lot of people and had Bhadra killed. Sabal isn't better then Amita, but you can stop him before he does to much damage unlike Amita.
@@megadracosaurus Hm, that makes sense. 1st time I went with amita and 2nd time with Sabal, and it did felt like it was "less bad" than with Amita ending.
@@vinicius10573 I headcanon that after Ajay took care of whoever ended up leading the Golden Path, Ajay became the new leader of the Golden Path and therefore the de facto leader of Kyrat. Even Pagan Min himself stated he was to be Kyrat's newest king, if you don't shoot him at the dinner table.

The setting of this game is the best. I remember watching my little brother playing this game on his PlayStation and I absolutely adored the world, its culture, and its environment.
It's one of a kind game , and I wish more games has this north indian- nepali tebitian culture in them . My favrioute settings are medivial Japan of sekiro or the morden day Tokyo or shibuya . But this setting is just mesmerizing .

180 hrs, it's too fun.
And then you realize there's people who finished it in less than 15 minutes.
The majority likes far cry 3 more but i played 4 first and the gameplay is just an updated version of far cry 3 with less loading screens
This is my favorite game of all time. I do not know how to describe it other than "home" as I played this so much when I was in middle school. This game is so fun as well that its probably gonna be my favorite game of all time.
This game has the best dialogue. Probably the funniest and the most creative dialogue script. They even use indian slangs

Far Cry 4 is the only 1 in the series I really love. It's rarefied and different but pulls all the best gameplay elements from FC3. The settings and crazy directing like the Avalanche really make you feel you're in your own amazing Movie. But the Best part was the whole weird theming of Shangri La. Totally ethereal, weird & Epic! 💫
My 2nd favourite game in the whole of last decade only to Skyrim.
It really is just a super refined Far Cry 3, but that ain't a bad thing. I'd actually recommend it over 3, plays better in the present day.
Far cry 4 is def a gem, I like how protagonist of far cries depsite being the good guys are as pyscho as the guy they wanna take down, and damn Ajay Ghale is a terror, Kyrat’s Whole national guard recognize him at 1st sight, know his name and have order to destroy him. And the game looks beautiful
I love FC4. One of the most atmospheric, immersive games ever made. Despite the amazing advances in technology they definitely don't make games like this anymore, amazing to think this game is over eight years old.
This game was so much fun to play - I remember taking my sweet time with it. Playing one checkpoint capturing mission at a time, hunting animals for hours, replaying the snowmobile mission endlessly. Bonus points for the random Hindi expletives sprinkled through the NPC dialogue 😂😂
i love Far cry games even though how repetitive the gameplay is it so fun, and every game is unique in their own way....The story always surprises me in the end and love how the antagonists have a personality we connect with.
always preferred pagan min as a villian. he loved ajay's mother, hated his father for the death of your half sister. this left him conflicted about you through out the game. caused his officers to go behind his back and try and kill you despite him forbidding it. plus he's really the only person that tells you the truth(mostly) through out the story. if you sit there at the beginning, he will take you to your half sister's tomb and place her ashes there. if you have dinner with him towards the end he'll still take you to her grave and then leave the place to you.
to me Vaas was overrated. he was a druggy pirate with a incest fetish( ie he really wants to bang his sister.).
This was my first Far Cry game. I really enjoyed it. I remember being blown away by the graphics too at the time. I missed 3, which everyone said is the best and I still haven't played it yet.
Go play it dude it’s amazing hands down my favourite! Farcry 4 is good in its own ways too, second fav game of the series.
Give it a shot. Back then it was magical. Far Cry 3 is basically the blueprint for the following Far Cry games.

Considering he's the only character in tbe game who is actually 100% Team Ajay, no matter what the guy does, he kinda deserves it. Lol. Killing tbe one guy who actually cares about your character is pretty screwed up.
The biggest thing I remember about this game was the atmosphere. Absolutely beautiful! Made me fall in love with that kind of architecture and feel.

Far cry 4 added so much, grappling hook, shooting while driving, first flying vehicle that wasn’t OP, multilevel environment, more guns, more animals, fun side characters to interact with

I totally get what people mean about Jason in far cry 3 being a normal person being forced to kill and it changing him and making him crazy, I feel that is so missed in this game like just grab this gun and start killing it just feels like it's missing that deeper introspective
Unpopular opinion, FC4 better than FC3 in every way. Everyone praised FC3 because it was new FC after few years of hiatus and reworked a lot of things from FC2. Don’t get me wrong I love FC3 but Vaas is kinda overrated and killed off really abruptly and I will take Pagan Min as main antigonist any day of the week. He is sick, fun, calm, enraged.. everything at the same time. I also loved Shangri-La sections in FC4
I loved the game because you can feel like real hero.I remember that ı didn't know the game well and ı tried to take the one castle beginning of the game with Ak-47 , all alarm runned and ı had been followed from helicopter for hours and take hours to take the castle.İt give me that feel, one hero fight against bad leader. Also love the revenge duty

far cry 4 lacks alot in its story like your character is just magically jason bourne with no explanation he kills people in cold blood without any reaction like hes done it a million times before 😂 but that being said this is my favorite far cry game due to the open world it's just so full of life and good looking not to mention the takedowns and skills are super rewarding/brutal.
Proof once again that hyper realistic graphics are a complete waste of time & money in gaming. Feel like the industry wouldn't be so jam packed w microtransactions if they weren't wasting resources on graphical fidelity. But then again, greed is in fact a thing.

The Buzzsaw is all you need really.
It mows down everything. You even can do a little sniping with it.
The signature Ripper is almost as good.

Far cry 4 is my most favorite game of all time it should be up there in the top 10 best games ever made I wish they updated far cry 4 and made it better add more story more scenes of pagan and more side missions and more fortresses and outpost and more villages and add more vehicles and possible tanks and armored vehicles

In recent weeks I restarted Fat Cry 4 for myself again. I love the beginning when after the accident you are all alone with only a kuri to defend yourself. And the search party comes. Besides I wanted to use the one handed autocross again. And the signature 50 cal sniper rifle with explosive rounds. Stops enemy vehicles with one shot. And the Buzzsaw. Really mows everything down. Far Cry 4 still has the best weapons roster to date. You haven't seen anything yet.

Definitely my favourite far cry. The dynamic between Jason and Vaas in 3 is still the better story, but everything about 4 is so much better. Its so much fun

4 was my introduction to the series, and I love it.
Since then, I've played all of them up to 6 and went back and played 3 and 2, which are both awesome.
4 was also my introduction I’ve played 3,4,5 and 6 only beat 3 and 4 those 2 were legendary tho 5 and 6 were okay imo

watching this made me realize something, I've heard people complain about letting your amigo on farcry 6 complete outposts for you, but that's basically just a replacement for bait and animal cages within camps, they turned it into a full combat system

Far Cry 3 has a lot more impact, but 4 was just more fun for me. The location in 5 just wasn't as much fun, but the endless depressing and sadistic cut scenes (and the ending) were kinda what dropped it down into the thumbs down category. Now you've got me wanting to do another FC4 run to get another ending...
This game is actually hard unlike far cry 6 or 5 i play both of those on the hardest difficulty but that doesnt do much also your ammo finnishes faster in 4 which makes it so much harder unless u keep a assault rifle because all enemies have one ...
For a 2014 game, this looks fantastic. For a 2021 game, Far Cry 6 looks underwhelming.

My favorite game of all time and I have done quite a lot of work into modding the game to my absolute requirement including adding suppressors to all my favourite guns like spas-12, Desert eagle, LMGs lol what a beautiful experience this game was well I think it is time to give it another run

I loved far cry 3 and same goes for 4. Both games will always have a special place in my heart. I didn´t like far cry 5 that much and never touched it again after finishing the story. 6´s gameplay felt great but I couldn´t invest myself into the story at all and got bored fast. Far Cry 3 and 4 are the ones i come back regularily to. i also liked Far cry 2 a lot and have only recently finished it.
My favourite thing about far cry 4 is all the bad guys swear in hindi 🤣🤣

Far Cry 3 was great and Far Cry 4 was great as well. I think Vaas was the best villain in any game and Pagan, though entirely different, holds his own among villains. And in Far Cry 4 they do a very sneaky thing where Pagan is made to be this murderous villain throughout but at the end you find out you've done just about what he's done. And the huge reveal that relates back to the Crab Rangoon scene is epic in a story like this.
I think I actually like Far Cry 4 more than Far Cry 3. Both are great games, obviously, but there is just something special about the setting and the characters from Far Cry 4. I loved the mini helicopter too!
I say the absolute peak of far cry, absolute favorite in terms of weapons and mechanics, sure its "side expansion" far cry primal is hit or miss for some folks, but I still wish for the caveman with dinosaur game... Anyways, far cry 5 is alright but there is something about it that felt off.
But the story of Far cry 4 is hilarious in my opinion and I still wish for more of this game.
My favorite thing about the Farcry series is they make you feel like your truly in the world, from the story, and voice acting to the gameplay, physics and map itself, you really feel like you are grounded to the world.
I think far cry 4 is good With its story And stuff. But far cry 5 Has the better location. Don't get me wrong Kyrat is cool but I enjoy Hope county Montana slightly better

I played this game as a 14year old - 3 years later i was in Nepal helping with water supply in a village in the 2015 earthquake relief effort, in 2018. This game helped make a big part of who i am now
And yes, up in Gorkha district near the Chinese border round Dhading Besi... It really does look like that. If you have hiking boots, a little experience and a hankering for adventure, you simply MUST go... After a while feels like home. After longer; you can never go back. I'm an atheist and a skeptic - but there is a type of magic about the place that cannot be ignored once you arrive

Tbh after how acclaimed 3 was I think Far Cry 4 got the short end of the stick. It still got generally great reviews, but idk why people still pretend 3 is better…
4 made so many fantastic quality of life improvements. 3 may have a better villain and overarching story, BUT 4 is a better GAME, and I will stand by that.

This game was mind blowing to me when it came out.
Almost 10 years, wow, I remember when I was playing it. Yes, quite a time passed, but 10 years...
FC4 was my favorite. The worst thing about Far Cry 5 for me was the forced story progression and soooo many kidnappings that broke immersion. FC5 was the first FC game where you couldn't run around and blow things up and just have fun in the world. No sooner than you did the meter was filled and the region was won. FC5 did have the great gunplay set by 3 and 4 though. Then FC 6 came along with half-baked ammo mechanics and broke the great gunplay. And the skills tied to clothing is just stupid in my opinion. But no forced story progression was a plus.
Many gamers thought that way. The story bottlenecks with Jacob were the worst.

Far Cry 4 was basically just Far Cry 3 with more to do, better guns, more animals, bigger map, however it was also plagued by a boring story and bland map. If far cry 4 just replaced the map and characters with 3, it could’ve been an amazing game.
