Road project funding in Kennedale dried up after discrimination claim

- A road construction project in Kennedale never broke ground last year because city officials say a Tarrant County commissioner pulled a funding agreement after alleging a city employee had experienced discrimination.
Sort of like when the township got on a power trip where I live and wasn't going to maintain the road by my parent's place because they wanted to widen it (the road goes a couple miles then dead ends, why widen it?) but nobody along the road would give them an easement. The road got worse for a few years, then it hit the fan. There was a surgeon that lived on that road and there was an emergency and he couldn't get to the hospital because the road was impassable. They had to send the helicopter out to get him. The hospital was well funded and had lawyers, the township not so much. Long story short a year later the road was very well maintained and there were some new faces on the township board. Several board members having suddenly retired.
Sounds like she is the problem, give some people a little power and see what happens!!!!😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
Maybe some kickback money fell through? That has ruined many a deal.

Be sad if folks found out about a certain official who's drive way was paved on the the town dime.
The biggest problem with "discrimination" is that it doesn't even require the discriminator or the discriminated against person to be involved, it just needs any somebody to object.

These citizens need to band together and collectively stop paying all taxes including their license plates if the county wants to play games the citizens should start playing games right back
She is a county commissioner. She can do whatever she wants in her precinct. It just sounds like she is just exercising her political power because she wants to teach someone who is boss. This is what happens when political office holders think that they are important. They really are not all that important. However, what they do is important and the two often get confused.
Maybe she wasn't getting enough thank you cards

Probably a relative who owns a paving company they could at least fill the pot holes

When certain people get a little power they love to throw it around. Look at all the mayors and county commissioners across the US that have done similar things. Curious as to what party they belong to.
Some on one party, some on the other. Vermin are found everywhere.
