Yes love the Foo Fighters choice!! Hope you can eventually get around to doing lessons for Alone + Easy Target and Good Grief. They're fun songs! Please :D
Thanks for this video!! Any chance you could do a video on "low"? The song definitely deserves a mention. Was only played at the tribute concert in LA this week.
Sounds really spot on! For these pedal demos could you take a moment to show your amp and settings? Really helps for understanding and dialing in tones. Thank you!
Thanks mate! I'm using a bunch here - Heritage Custom Core H150, Karl Longbottom Fulvia (gold one) and Eternal Guitars custom (green one) i picked up second hand.
Yea it’ll do a load of light to medium gain overdrive tones, but I’m not saying you need this pedal for that tune, lots of overdrive pedals would be fine for that tune🤘
Which one mate? Green one - Eternal Guitars custom build I got second hand, then also using Karl Longbottom Fulvia (gold offset) and Heritage Custom Core H-150 😊🤘
It's too bad Grohl and co. didn't have such effects to achieve their sounds. All solid players, some memorable riffs, of course, but none with particularly stand out or unique guitar tones.
I’d say early albums more rat like and later ones more amp type distortion and the riffs themselves are unique, especially Dave’s phrasing/chord voicings, but they’ve used a bunch of effects over the years like delay (aurora) and flange (headwires, breakout) etc 🤘😊
Seriously well done! I honestly can't believe how well the Dagger works in this context. And the playing is spot on.
Ah thanks so much John! Cracking pedal mate, had lots of fun with this one!
Absolutely awesome pedal 👍
Yes. Finally some Stacked Actors love! Love how one drive pedal can get you there too!
You deserve more views. Your choice of riffs is consistently excellent!
Why thank you sir! 😀🤘

We’ll defo get to them eventually!
Good grief is sooo good
I don’t know how you do it but the playing and the tones are always spot on as here.
Ah thanks so much mate! Glad you enjoyed the vid 😀🤘
Great choice! The Dagger really hits that Foo Fighters tone.
thanks Alex!
Loved the four handed touch on The Pretender, much like some gods 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Haha thanks Janne!
Loveeeee the Foo’s and great songs for learning guitar! I tried Stacked Actors a while back and I thought the bottom E was going to fall off 😅🙌
Haha cheers! It does get a bit flubby 😂
Sensational riffage, as always. Bellissimo
thanks mate :-)
Great stuff as always, man! Great stuff!
They should rename this pedal The Foo Pedal! Great selection of tones and songs… and the playing is fantastic too! Just good stuff all around 💯
Thanks mate!
Awesome video. It made me pick up my guitar and smash out a few foo fighter songs.🤘
That’s amazing to hear mate! That’s literally the point of this whole channel 😀🤘
@@LetsPlayAll Really appreciate your channel and the work you put into it. Thanks!!
@@dwalks637 you’re welcome mate!

Wow again a great pedal to have a sound like foo fighters! Great!! 😎
Kudos to you for your perfect way of repurposing riffs! Great!
@@lucaserra5030 thanks Luca!

Yea for sure, more Foos to come!
Great way to celebrate one of the best bands ever,
Thanks Sam! More lessons to come for sure 🤘
Thank you!!!!!
7:58 whose song is this riff?
Outro riff to This Is A Call
@@LetsPlayAll thanks!
Could you do lesson of Slip Away by Mad Season?
On the list!
Sounds really spot on! For these pedal demos could you take a moment to show your amp and settings? Really helps for understanding and dialing in tones. Thank you!
Sure but I literally never touch the amp, it’s always the same settings, pretty flat eq but will do in future demos tho!
@@LetsPlayAll Ah, thanks! Even that info is super helpful! Appreciate it.
Outstanding demo! But why not White Limo?
Thanks mate! I could have squeezed in a load more tbh, really must do some more Foos lessons tbh!
What’s that single pickup guitar used on Stacked Actors and Weenie Beenie?
Custom guitar I picked up second hand, it's by Eternal Guitars (Dave Walsh - UK Luthier) :-)
Where did you get your guitars, they look and sound great!
Thanks mate! I'm using a bunch here - Heritage Custom Core H150, Karl Longbottom Fulvia (gold one) and Eternal Guitars custom (green one) i picked up second hand.
@@LetsPlayAll the Eternal is really mine in my mind. 😁
@@TVoltG haha 😀🙌
@@LetsPlayAll if I put it into the universe... 🙏🏼🤞🏼😁
Do you think this pedal could do the Everlong tone well?
Yea it’ll do a load of light to medium gain overdrive tones, but I’m not saying you need this pedal for that tune, lots of overdrive pedals would be fine for that tune🤘
Any link to buy in the uk?
Looks like Joe's Pedals have them in stock :-) joespedals.com/collections/pedals/products/dagger
Nice... What amp do you use ?
Morgan MVP66 in this one 🤘😊
Low rocks. Wonder if that pedal fits with Come Back.
I reckon so, the EQ is really tweakable and it'd give you enough fuzz for that imo
What is that guitar? Sounds great
Which one mate? Green one - Eternal Guitars custom build I got second hand, then also using Karl Longbottom Fulvia (gold offset) and Heritage Custom Core H-150 😊🤘
You are a guitar sensei. Are you 3rd or 4th Dan?
haha 1st Matt i think ;-)
@@LetsPlayAll I see what u did there 😏
Is this a kind of RAT pedal ?
No its definitely it’s own thing but can definitely get you into some Rat territory at higher gain settings 🤘
ı hope i can see confusion by aic from your channel before i die (:
Lots more AIC to come!
