Yea it’ll do a load of light to medium gain overdrive tones, but I’m not saying you need this pedal for that tune, lots of overdrive pedals would be fine for that tune🤘

It's too bad Grohl and co. didn't have such effects to achieve their sounds.All solid players, some memorable riffs, of course, but none with particularly stand out or unique guitar tones.
I’d say early albums more rat like and later ones more amp type distortion and the riffs themselves are unique, especially Dave’s phrasing/chord voicings, but they’ve used a bunch of effects over the years like delay (aurora) and flange (headwires, breakout) etc 🤘😊

Sure but I literally never touch the amp, it’s always the same settings, pretty flat eq but will do in future demos tho!
