My 650hp 2011 I’ve had my aluminum up to 145 lol not a good idea definitely vibrates bad . But like he said here in Houston Texas we push it to the limit my truck is lifted about 3or 4 inches running 33s Detroit locker so I need to upgrade I’ll check out the site thanks for the video

I would go up to 135 mph on my 16 Crewcab and it never broke. Until now that I got a notch, and 4.10 gear it vibrates at 90mph. Def getting a 2 piece soon

@@caseylunsford3297 yes but if you get a notch you def have to do the 2 piece. I solved my issue with that bc before getting the notch I was rolling fine and then after the vibration was bad but as soon as I slapped in the two piece the issue is solved.
Also, it applies to truck that are going to be driven faster than 115... be on the road or on a dyno. The critical speed of the shaft is 115, anything faster than that, the shaft will start shaking and blow up literally.
Yes these will handle that and more
And that's with the 3.08 Rear Gear... 3.42's? Well, I'm not sure what that does to the critical speed of the factory drive shaft, but the limiter is set to 98 I think... and it feels like you're getting tugged backwards for a split second when you hit it. It's a shame too... the K2XX's are pulling quite hard before the electronic nanny kills all the fun.
@@AbnsundevilL7 I have no idea what you're talking about. Anyways, 2 types of ppl purchase the drive shaft. 1 is for clearance, nothing to do with speed or racing just needs to cruise around their dropped or bagged truck..Thats our basic setup. 2. It's our racing application the ppl that purchase those will have tunes, gears, cams, torque converters, full bolts ons, etc. Maybe a few of those things or all of the above. We offer both to have ppl use what best applies to them. Hope the info helps.

So what if I lower my 2016 silverado to a 4/6 drop with no c notch, would the frame prevent the driveshaft from metal to metal contact(In case I bottom out)?

You will if you wanna go faster than factory limit. They tend to blow apart at about 110 mph. Currently looking for a strong 1 piece for my street truck
I wish you had specified pinion angles
Sorry pinion angles are based off the flip kit. If we post the angles most ppl will make it the installation difficult. By adding shims, spacers, etc. Like we mention in about 90% of our videos "Use good quality parts". With that being said having a good brand flip kit will allow you to have a simple, easy installation.

Any issues with vibration from the front part of the driveshaft or carrier bearing? GM went away from a two-piece early 2000’s because of that. However, they went with a rinky dink one-piece that likes to explode at about 110...

We dropped that truck several times. I think there it was a 4/6. Could be wrong. The last drop our customer left it at a 6.5/11 Drop.
