To anyone who is worried about their consistency: wait for it to sit for 24 hours and then test the consistency. I tried this recipe and was so sure it was messed up because right after kneading it for the first time, it wouldnt form a teardrop and would just tear. But after letting the clay rest for 24 hours I came back to check and the consistency was perfect. Don't toss what you think is a fail before letting the recipe settle!
I haven't tried the microwave version of the porcelain clay, but I have made the stove top one and I absolutely love it! It dries so hard and very light weight as well. I've even mixed acrylic paint into it for various colors which saves me from having to paint and I can do the marble effect on some projects. Such a wonderful clay, thank you very much for sharing your tutorials.
@Prisca Siva depends on the size of the piece but anywhere from 2 to 4 days. I roll mine think and shape. Any thicker and it takes longer to dry completely. I also found that flat pieces do tend to curl so I just kept turning it over.
@@lorrainebijou4108 Since it has food products, does it ever mold? Or do you use a sealer on top of it to prevent molding? If so, what type of sealer do you use?
@@Honey-Bee-25 I have not used any sealant on any of the pieces of I have made with this clay except acrylic paint. No issues with mold or anything of the sort.
Jesus Christ the amount of people who don’t know how to hold the screen to read the ingredients and are asking for them here. No wonder why shampoo bottles come with instructions 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
This looks great! If anyone has made this before, when microwaving the mixture, does the vinegar smell strong? And will it smell when it’s ready? I just don’t think my housemates will appreciate the smell lol
It's a little bit stinky, but bearable and the smell dissipates within an hour or so. The clay will always smell slightly like vinegar, but if you use baby oil instead of cooking oil, the scent can kind of mask it.
Just tried this and the clay just stayed extremely sticky & would not kneed. I’ve got the bowl sitting in water bc it just won’t come off of anything, I had to scrub my hands with a sponge. Should I have waited longer for it to cool? I followed the exact measurements
Mine 2! But I don't know if it's because I used arrowroot instead of corn starch or if I didn't heat it long enough. I got too frustrated and threw it away, including my pot since it got way too sticky and wouldn't come off.
I followed those steps but when I made charms from that clay it was ok, but when they dry they cracked a lot even they break due to large cracks, I don't know that why it happened? Plz tell me.
I tried it I only put glue corn flour and two spoons of oil and cooked it in non stick pan for 3 min and it was soooo gooood and then I kned it and air tight it for 1 hour and the result was awesomeeeeeeee❤❤❤❤❤ try it you will get happy
Maybe you added too much cornflour. After a while, try adding a little bit of water to it and kneading it. If it's still wet, leave it for a few hrs until the clay absorbs all the water. It should form a tear drop shape
Its bc if u keep it out for too long (causing exposure to air) it might crack. If you want to store it then use plastic wrap and store in airtight container...
@@CStarJewelry Oh so then you have to keep something under it so that it does not lose shape while drying. I like to use cotton but you can also use satin cloth

Try microwaving it for longer, maybe?

I'm a little confused, Is there a difference between this and the uncooked version of this clay?
Hi...once the clay cools dwn it lwts out some steam ,so do u change the polybag after 24 hrs? Domu refridgrate it?
I don't see recipe anywhere
if youre making this as a more eco friendly version skip the acrylic paint or use a different type
How much time does it take to dry completely?
Youhave to keep it for 24 hours
What can I do to make this a pipeable product such as to use with baking tips? Add slightly more oil or vinegar maybe?

Can I use clear glue? I’m trying to make hobby horse bridle charms lol.
My clay was too soft how to fix it? Or make it a little stiff? Please help
Is it safe to microwave acrylic paint?
I m not getting the clay so flexible i tried making it so much but not as much as it should be !! Can someone say where did i go wrong or wt to do

It turns out absolutely amazing 😊! Must try
Vinegar alternative?
What to do if the glue is not so wayery like yours?
Can you still use your microwave oven to heat up foods after you have used it to cook air dry clay which has glue in it?
White glue is nontoxic that’s why toddlers use it
can we cook on gas or stove
Yes you can do on stove top
Ingredients proportion in the comment pls
Where is the recipe?
i hav otg how to do in otg?

@borntobefairy133 thank you. I meant it cracks when I made a small sculpture and tried to dry it

Alguien podría pasarme esta receta, las letras se superponen y no puedo verla.
Gracias desde ya
When you form a sculpture, the clay needs something to hold it up until it dries. I personally use paper towel and stuff any areas needed.
We can store a year? At room temperature? Not store in refrigerator?
That microwave later can use for food.. need to clean ?
Puede enviar las cantidades de cada ingrdiente y tiempos de cocción en el microondas x fabor? Muchas Gracias
