TY for this. It is very very helpful. Assuming most is the same for a C60 but with the addition of a 6th gear?

Welcome. There are some differences, but nothing major. I recall using special hardware to pull 5 or 6th in the C60 transmission case cover. I have recorded my C60 rebuild, but haven't had a chance to edit it.... I'm actually not sure if I will edit it. It takes so much time to record and edit. Keep in mind, all manual transmissions are designed relatively the same and only have small intricacies between them. Once you pull one apart, the others are pretty much the same. Thanks for watching and commenting. Pls subscribe. Thx, AJ

    Love your presentations.
Waiting for ep 8, but quick question in the meanwhile. Should the input and output shaft gears line up exactly during reinstall? My input shaft gears sit 1.5-1.8mm lower than the output shaft gears they contact.

@@RobertWierzbowski ep 8 is pretty far out bc I’m working on other projects, but as the OEM reads, sometimes, the assembly is opposite of the disassembly. 😂 I just put them together by aligning the gears and once it drops in it should be good.

@ thanks, and looking forward to it!
If anyone else has the same question, confirmed that some misalignment is normal and is removed when you lift the input shaft and clip it in place before closing the transmission.

@ Thanks man. Any videos of the reassembly? Or is this the final part of the transmission rebuild series.
