It is our salt fish fritters using plantain instead of flour. Do it and add salt fish and you will see. She is using the raising agent air instead of baking powder. Please look up the different raising agent.eg air, baking powder, baking soda, yogurt, lemon, vinegar, molasses most need a little baking soda.
Thank you so much for this video! I am American and I’m trying to connect to my roots by cooking food from west Africa and I tried your recipe and it’s delicious!! Thank you so much!!

Too much carb use 2 plantain and black eye beans. Wash and soak beans over night. Drain bean water use in soups or stew. Blend bean with plantain full protein and completely vegan. The original recipe Akara/koose can be found on Nanaab's kitchen.com good luck. You can add ginger.
We Haitians have a similar dish, and it's called exactly the same way. We left the Mother Land hundred of years ago, and finding randomly this almost insignificant similarity to my people feels immensely good. Thank you.
You guys are improving upon our dietary system.... you are making Africa great..... so l urge all men to Learn for we are all learning to boost the growth of the Africa continent.... good job and I love it..

We already have this recipe in the Caribbean it is called salt fish fritters and it is a complete meal. She done it with plantain flour and we do it with flour. Look at the original akara fritters black eye fritters at Nanaab's kitchen l think you will like that too. Just mix the plantain and the beans to get a complete vegan meal loaded with plant based protein. God bless 🙏 Jamaica 🇯🇲 Trelawny Albert
I can’t wait to try this😋. In Jamaica we grate plantain for porridge and use flour or banana for this type of fritter. In our fritter we add saltfish, tomato and scallions. However I have never seen this before with plantain. We fry the plantains in pieces. I will try this. If my blender gives me trouble I will grate😀.
