I'd buy these tomorrow if I can get hold of them. I'm constantly at cocktail parties and mixers for work and my heels always drive me batty. I could also see women only brands wanting to brand them as their own and hand them out at trade shows, etc
That was the smoothest pitch and deal close I've seen so far. Love the idea, and love the entrepreneur. Maybe not a billion idea, but it will make her a good life.
Correct my previous statement, multiplying the number of women wearing heels in the world... not so difficult after all. Seems like a must have, even when just in case;
Considering you can colour coordinate these with countless styles of shoes that seems like something some women will have a pair for every pair of shoes. License them so major labels can repack custom designed ones with their shoes. Seems like a no brainier since she has a patented.
Even at £1 a piece - there'd be Hundreds of Millions of shoe companies who could include them with every box of shoes sold. There's a MASSIVE mark up on women's shoes one £ is nothing...!
This is a great product. They could sell it to wedding organizers to distribute to the guests. In Brazil we give guests flip-flops that cost much more than that so they can remove their shoes and enjoy the party more comfortably. This allows women to keep their beautiful high heels and still walk and dance comfortably.
It also protects high heeled shoes walking in the street - I ruined my favourite shoes from getting stuck in grills on pavements and also a pair on muddy grass getting out of a car (pink silk shoes). Some designer shoes are really expensive too so £4.99 is nothing to protect expensive heels.
I like the thought that the blokes are like ... no ones gunna buy more than one pair ... i can't see you making money ... when she already has... and its a good brand starter ... also I think alot of ladies would happily add of £5 to help preserve any heel they get or stabilise them a bit more

I was not able to locate the company's financials, however, Peter was proven correct in that their website is offering a buy one get the second pair FREE. In other words, yes, price is an issue ladies.
To defend a patent against a company in China or Taiwan and selling online for example would cost a fortune, so a patent in itself is not bankable. That's why the dragons stress the value of branding and getting into the right retailers quickly to get ahead of competitors. A patent lawyer on the show as well as the dragons would be interesting.

I brought these and lost them. Next outdoor event where I'll be wearing heels. I will be buying them again.
You can also use them for more stability on any terrain as they give a larger surface area
Until the three men have felt the sheer terror of having the ultra thin heel on a pair of $1000 Louboutins get stuck in an escalator (I got it out, didn't even leave a mark) they won't recognize the genius and multiple uses of this product.
Freak
Sounds horrific. An escalator once ate up the shoelaces on my (not $1000) Converses and I felt the cold clutch of death on my shoulders. I caused a 20-person pile-up but lived to tell the tale.
@@ohwellwhateverr The danger escalators pose to shoes, and the people who's shoes get caught is terrifying.
@@nathanielcraig3588 as a child I was terrified of escalators. I think its because of that reason that I wouldn't get off in time and be eaten by the machine.
Just don't wear heels
Kelly gives a Harry potter character vibe.
She reminds me a bit of Professor Sybill Trelawney.
Now that was awesome. She came in prepared, with a great product and she killed it by bagging two dragons.
Incredible item! Even not on grass, you need these for comfort. All day events or hard surfaces, you need these in your handbag!
Before the cameras started rolling, Jenny must have snagged herself one for her heels and high tailed it out of the den. Legend has it she is still out.
I've been to 3 weddings and all the times we had to walk through grass in heels i WISH I had those rubbers back then
Whoever is on thumbnail duties is an absolute legend 😅
They look like she's just found another use for cane toppers.
I'd buy these tomorrow if I can get hold of them. I'm constantly at cocktail parties and mixers for work and my heels always drive me batty. I could also see women only brands wanting to brand them as their own and hand them out at trade shows, etc
What Peter done was pretty shitty here, he was acting like he was gonna give an offer and then backed out
Damn. Just got recommended this video and immediately went to by a set. This is brilliant!
That was the smoothest pitch and deal close I've seen so far. Love the idea, and love the entrepreneur. Maybe not a billion idea, but it will make her a good life.
Correct my previous statement, multiplying the number of women wearing heels in the world... not so difficult after all. Seems like a must have, even when just in case;
Doh, i meant millions of shoes made. If a deal could be done on the wholesale side, there's no need to bother with the retail...!
They are transparent so color is not an issue
@@alanh4471 i was really thinking the same way just imagine the potential
She did well with Peter. Put him in his place
"What you going to bring me" I think that put peter off. Lol "So you wouldn't" so and so...
I'm convinced he was going to invest before that. But good for her! Drop kick some dragons down lol
@@ShadowLynx777 IKR, she's much better off with the team of dragons she got to invest in the end.
@@ShadowLynx777 Peter wasn't wrong, company house indicate that her company has made little money over the years
Great to see Debroah and Kelly are head over heels for the product.
Can we all just appreciate the one liners from the Narrator guy in the background. They are so well written, so consistently.
Entrepreneur: “I am looking for an investor”
Peter: 😦
That’s what what you do to horses lmfao 😂 I can just imagine it “my wife’s lost her heel stabilizers I need her re shoed” 😂😂
This is a great product. They could sell it to wedding organizers to distribute to the guests. In Brazil we give guests flip-flops that cost much more than that so they can remove their shoes and enjoy the party more comfortably. This allows women to keep their beautiful high heels and still walk and dance comfortably.
Really enjoyable example of DD: Light-hearted; no vicious exchanges or patronising advice. I hope she does well. Girl Power!
Balls to the device, let's focus on Charlotte!!
Yes sir! Wish I had a Charlotte!
I'd let her walk all over me, with or without the stoppers!
I couldn’t agree more
I came to the comments to see if it was just me 😁
@@bagpussmacfarlan9008 I had to scroll a fair but but damn she's fine.
Peter and Piers don't understand the fact that they don't understand the product 😂
Oy, you go on Amazon and there's lots of these selling for dirt cheap!!
It also protects high heeled shoes walking in the street - I ruined my favourite shoes from getting stuck in grills on pavements and also a pair on muddy grass getting out of a car (pink silk shoes). Some designer shoes are really expensive too so £4.99 is nothing to protect expensive heels.
I like the thought that the blokes are like ... no ones gunna buy more than one pair ... i can't see you making money ... when she already has... and its a good brand starter ... also I think alot of ladies would happily add of £5 to help preserve any heel they get or stabilise them a bit more
I really smiled at this episode, from start to finish. I have no idea why 🤷♂️ so I thought I would let you all know.
I guess when you come upon a patch of grass whilst wearing your heels, they magically turn into a pair of tennis shoes ✨😌
Can also be used on cobblestone, uneven concrete.
If I ever saw these in a shop I would buy them instantly!
9:10 - Kelly: I think the guys actually don't get it.
*proceeds to say her vision is the same as Peters (at every till etc)*
Peter was saying it should be 99p at the till, nothing wrong with more expensive products near the till also.
Peter wanted them to become a cheap Poundland product though, Kelly didn't particularly object to the £4.99 pricetag. That's the key difference.
Happy to see this company is still around because I love wearing heels and I’ve sunk into more surfaces than I care for 😭 gonna get me some of these
Good on this woman for securing the investments of two incredible business powerhouses. I haven’t seen this product here in the US, but I sure would like to.
Good thing men invented high heels then so she should bank off them.
Debra is actually in a verg good mood today and good offer they made... Thumbs up 👍🏾
Lol Peter’s eye roll was such a mood
Love how Piers gets knocked off his high horse
I never saw him fall off of Debra, when was this?
Duncan stealing Peter joke right after he said it @ 5:05 haha, too funny, P's face too haha
This was a feel-good episode ........
Entrepreneur to Kelly; “Love your hair!”
Entrepreneur to Debra; “Thanks.”
Chuffed for Ali and well done to Kelly and Debra for getting involved i hope its a successful venture for all involved Amen xxxxxxx
I cant wait to see Duncan in high heels.
I'll make you an offer; all of the money, for 5% and Charlotte 😁
9:08 Peter: "Listen. I get it. I'm just not investing because I've got my rags today"
I was not able to locate the company's financials, however, Peter was proven correct in that their website is offering a buy one get the second pair FREE. In other words, yes, price is an issue ladies.
Or they adjusted the price so that you're buying two at the old price anyways. That's what the My Pillow guy did that got him in so much trouble.
@@ambiva That's a different company
How many people wear heels on grass: uhhh all women? I’ll buy some
Transphobe
@@TaxingIsThieving what
Aaaaw, I'm so happy for the woman. She's lovely. ❤
One of the best eps ever, love it! 😃
Duncan is definitely going to be a customer lol.
My first thought was to get them in the hands of wedding planners. Many weddings are held outdoors and they could be included in the price package.
10:05 - When you can't answer the question just say "I'm out."
Love the patter between the dragons. Just a bunch of pals having a bit of banter.
Peter: I'm in,,,,, but I want 100% of Charlotte as part of the deal
Charlottes Fit mate
To defend a patent against a company in China or Taiwan and selling online for example would cost a fortune, so a patent in itself is not bankable. That's why the dragons stress the value of branding and getting into the right retailers quickly to get ahead of competitors. A patent lawyer on the show as well as the dragons would be interesting.
Peter Jones: I don't like the ladies laughing at me and for that reason, I'm out.
It’s a genius product which is worth £5 and will sell tens of millions!
Problem is patents are worthless since 99% of them will be sold by Chinese AliExpress and SHEIN who don’t adhere to patents. That’s the problem will extremely easy and cheap to copy products.
Perfect product for Jenny, it's literally for when she's out.
Spat my coffee out when Kelly made an offer ...
Brilliant lady got an offer ..
Kellie's hair is great by the way 😊
