How To Make Healthy Salmon Bowl with 42g Protein!

- Healthy Delicious Salmon Bowl! 594 calories per serving with 42g of protein / 48g carbs / 26g fat
One of my favourite ways of eating salmon, packed with flavour, so filling, easy to make and perfect for a quick healthy lunch or dinner🔥
For the salmon:
• 350-400g raw skinless salmon (cut into cubes for 2 servings)
• 1 tbsp garlic (fresh or powder)
• 1 tsp chilli flakes
• 1 tsp paprika
• 1 tbsp light & dark soy sauce
• 15-20g honey
• 1/2 lemon juice
Mix till each piece is well coated
Cook salmon on medium-low heat for 2-3 mins each side till golden brown
Cucumber salad:
• 1/2 cucumber cut into slices
• 1-2 tbsp light soy sauce
• 1/2 tsp garlic
• 1/2 tsp chilli flakes or paprika (depends if you want it spicy)
• 1 tsp rice vinegar of lemon juice
Serve with:
• 100g cooked jasmine rice per serving(200g for 2 servings)
• Cucumber salad
• Sliced carrot
• Sliced red onion
• 50g avocado per serving (100g for 2 servings)
• Spicy lemon mayo (light mayo, sriracha & lemon juice)
• Garnish with green onion and sesame seeds
This recipe makes 2 servings

Just tried this recipe and tasted amazing. I realized it's very similar to a poke bowl. Also, I'd recommend using freshly minced garlic instead of garlic powder to add after flipping the salmon once. This is for added flavor.

Edit: This was delicious! Just had to buy Salmon. No exact measurements needed. Definitely worth it! Only thing I would do differently is let the cucumbers sit longer, and maybe change up the measurements for mine. ❤

My family has made this salmon recipe over ten times now and we can't eat salmon at restaurants anymore. This is just too good! Nothing else compares to it.
Guys instead of white rice, try boosting the protien by adding brown rice or quinoua instead
brown rice macros are actually almost identical to white, the only difference is you're eating the whole grain which means it's less processed and you'd be getting more of the nutrients from the rice. quinoa is also a great suggestion 😊

Looks great but I would substitute coconut aminos for soy sauce is not as healthy for your body and sesame oil for the soy sauce in the cucumbers

I see salmon but always pass it for it’s pricey and was never convinced how different it would be from other fishes texture-wise and recipe-wise until I opted for having fried fish pieces and I saw this. Now I’ll be buying my very first pricey salmon plate.😊

Yes! And unlike potatoes they can be eaten raw (so no worries if you under cook them or even want them raw)
Which is better for you depends on your diet (if you need more protein and potassium for example I think regular potatoes are better for that kinda diet but if you need more vitamin A and a few other minerals sweet potatoes can fill that)
