  • Dez gets a 4” stainless snorkel.
I’m the video I mention the snorkel is from a company called Meredith Metal Works. The snorkel is actually from ‘Fabulous Fabrications’. Was talking with a customer earlier in the day about about another snorkel and got mixed up.

Driving the car in heavy rain. It did suck in a little bit of water which was not great. But with the aftermarket airbox on it’s completely fine. They do supply a little rubber ring that goes on the top of the snorkel that they recommend fitting if you drive in the rain and it helps deflect water, but that flew off the first time I use it.

Could you please send us the part number for the K&N filter? I have a Hilux 2019 and the part number should be the same

      Sure thing mate!
Part number is KN33-3045. Some sellers remove the - in the middle of the part number so you can try both.

Did you seal up any holes in the airbox?

Air box is untouched, haven’t sewed up any holes. There is a small hole in the bottom of the air box that I would not recommend seeing. Especially for vehicles with snorkels as water does enter through the snorkel when driving in the rain (even more so for forward facing snorkels like the genuine one) and as that water travel through the intake it has to have somewhere to exit the air box, so that little hole is important.
