I haven't encountered any issues with the factory head so far. I drive on rain, go through car wash, and always facing forward. I have stop and check the air filter for dryness and had no issues at all. Love my snorkel.

Lol drove mine 60 mph in the rain forward no problem, round one has a speed you shouldn’t go over
