Awesome - so easy. Saved me 119 dollars diagnostic and another 100 for labor.
I cant figure out the reason the other top video took the entire dishwasher apart 😅 so thanks for saving me from that headache
Glad we were able to help you out. If there is anything we can help you with in the future please let know.
Thanks for the video. I did it myself and saved $100
This is a great video thank you! Much simpler than another one i found that essentially takes apart the entire underside of the appliance.
IMPORTANT: if you have a ge profile made after 2020, the connection to the drain pump (the larger of the 2 ports) is a compression fitting and no clamp is needed.
Glad the video was able to help you. If there is anything we can help you with in the future please let us know.
Awesome job 👍👍👍
your a god

How do you replace just the wash pump inlet hose that attaches to the part you replaced.
did your hose rip like mine? I attached the pump and guess I tightened the hose clamp too much? Not sure, but it ripped and im trying to think of a way to fix it
@@EricSjoberg81Did you ever find a away. The one end of that short black connecting hose is glued to the attaching white piece on mine.
Thanks
What if the replacement pump has a different electric connection than the old pump. I need this model pump but my connection is different
What do you mean by different? Orientation, different number of wires, etc?
@@appliancepartspros the electrical plug fitting is different on the wiring harness. The WD26x23258 pump replaces the discontinued pump and the plug is not the same on the pump
Is there an adapter available to make the connection?
@@pietrinj69 I ordered the motor and the plug did fit correctly, check and make sure the part number is correct replacement with manufacturer. I guess some newer or older machines connection is slightly different but can be forced into place, the locking clip won’t lock on some machines. Good luck getting one of the online parts companies to help, their not very knowledgeable and most don’t even have a phone number. Hope this helps
I had the same issue. I ended up cutting off the connector from the new one, and wired together with the old connection. Worked fine
What is the zip tie for lol!?
The zip tie is if you had to cut a zip tie from the wiring harness then you would use the replacement zip tie for that. If you didn't mess with the wiring harness then you wouldn't need to use the zip tie.
@@appliancepartspros I appreciate it
@@appliancepartspros having a hard time unplugging the white electric piece from the pump
You are very welcome!
There appears to be two tabs that you will need to push on in order to get them to come off. You may need to take a flat blade screwdriver to help get that piece out.
Really could do a better job at showing how the connector comes off without breaking it
What is the model number of your dishwasher and we can see if we are able to find a better video for you if you would like?
