Thank you very much. I have changed my settings and the my video recording goes very well. 1. Encoder: from x264 to NVENC -in past, task manager shows that my GPU works lesser than CPU. But I still choose CPU. -the performance went well. But the video lags a lot. 2. A little settings: -keyframe: from 0 to 2, the recorded video went smoother than the past.

This is so much better now. I play rust at 80fps but it was choppy, thanks to your settings, the quality is a little worse and looks like someone threw sand at my monitor, but still good quality, and much better frame output, thanks

Rn I’m actually on vacation but when I’m Back at my pc and streaming I have like 1 FPS on my stream even with 1500 bitrate. I hope these settings will work so I took a screenshot of this vid and subscribed!
Once I get home, I’m gonna use what I learned from this and apply it to my obs studio. I am streaming tomorrow, and my biggest problem is choppy stream while running Resident Evil: Village. Not for Broadcast was no problem, because Not for Broadcast didn’t use as much CPU as RE:8 does.

If you’re seeing this and still running into problems, I have trouble shot some other methods and finally found the solve. There is 3 things you need to do. Firstly, if you have an Nvidia card, go to the Nvidia Control Panel and enable Physx and make sure to set it to your GPU. This will allow your GPU to take on some the system resources the CPU was initially taking on. Secondly, disable Xbox Game Bar and Game Mode on Windows 10. You can find this by searching for “Gaming” in the search bar. This will enable your PC not to allocate the majority of the GPU resources to your game. If your on OBS before this is disabled, you may notice when you alt tab, the FPS is fine, but when you alt tab back it becomes choppy. This should fix that. Lastly, run OBS as an administrator before booting. This will give OBS priority usage - this was a known bug to the developers and they rolled out this fix a couple of years ago. Once you have completed all these steps give your recording a go. Hopefully the choppiness will be drastically reduced, if not nearly pixel perfect.

Profile on high has nothing to do with how much power goes to encoding your stream. It has to do with encoding profiles. Thanks for your video.
