Thanks, trying to plan and figure it out drove me crazy at times but it's one of my favorite things about the room. Though I sort of miss the days from childhood when I didn't even care about cable management, let alone know of it as a concept!
@@ThaFaZeD Hah check out the video that I uploaded yesterday (November 13th)! It's the first where I go in-depth on a setup and explain the wiring. I'll be working on similar videos in the future too.
I've seen bigger, more expensive, and extravagant game rooms, but honestly, dude, there is something so cosy and comforting about your room. If I had the money and the space, I would design my room just like this, although I might swap out the dance machine for a time crisis arcade. It's not just what you have but the way you've arranged it and the attention to detail. No visible wires. Everything is seamlessly connected. You really thought of everything, and this is one of the best setups I've ever seen. I hope you put up more videos. I'd happily watch you just chilling out in this room playing games or watching movies. Great job man, truly great job.
Thanks so much! Yeah, I am really focusing on comfort and convenience in my room -- plus only displaying things that I truly like. A Time Crisis arcade machine would be awesome. Someday I might work on a solution to run light gun arcade games on my machine, since there are now camera-based light guns for PC compatible with emulators. The height of my machine's screen feels just right for this kind game. I could even assign a dance pad up arrow as a reload/cover pedal and swap the machine's two cupholders for holsters. I'm planning out some new videos to post soon -- thanks again!
This is the nicest game room I’ve ever seen. Clean, curated, well designed. Not overwhelming and cluttered. You can tell so much care went into this. It’s very inspirational. Well done!
This setup should definitely be submitted to the youtube channel techsource where they have a series called setup wars where he reviews different set ups and honestly he'll really like your set up....but either than that nice video bro❤
When my dad saw this sonic box displayed in a Sears department store at the mall, and we were able to play the demo...he was hooked. Santa brought one for me that Christmas! Incredible memories, playing road rash with my cousin and uncle and father.
As many others have already said, yours might be the best TH-cam has seen, if only because of your hard work, attention to detail, and good sense. Good job man, definitely something to be proud of.
Dude, you actually got the dream game room that every 90's kid has ever dreamed of having once they have the money when they're adults. I'm sure it took a long time of collecting and a lot of passion but it is totally worth it. I still remember owning some of the gen 1 and 2 tomy figures. I mean, your setup is more impressive than most of the retail stores out there. Btw, what are you currently playing when you have the time to game? I can't imagine being able to choose from your collection lol
Thank you! Yes, a ton of hard work and many years went into this. I remember being a kid and dreaming of owning a "big screen TV." Later on I dreamed of my own DDR cab. Definitely got that and a whole lot more! Eventually I'll make some videos showing the history of my setups -- will be fun to look at the slow progress in retrospect. And yeah, it's hard to pick a game sometimes. In my home office I have a simpler setup where I can bring up just a couple games to focus on. I think that once I start using that space more often, it will help. Some of my favorite games are pick-up-and-play games, especially puzzle games like Dr. Mario. It's easy to find time for these. Most recent longer game that I've been chipping away at is a re-play of LoZ OoT. The most recent game that really captured my attention and got me to play the whole way through relatively quickly was Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow.
I really love this room. I appreciate the sensibility, there's a level of legitimacy to it. It's not just a display room, it's not just a shove everything company X has ever made, and there's a lot of thought into the idea of just "I want to be able to play something that I enjoy" This honestly in my inspire me collection. Between liking DDR, the quick access to games. It really is just one of those things that I look at how you enjoy it and it clearly is full of the games and such that actually "Spark Joy" and isn't just a collection. It's nice to see :)
I genuinely love your room! From how the games are displayed to the different working setups, and especially the store signs which blend in perfectly, you've managed to create a room that oozes that exciting feeling of browsing a game store as a kid, while also feeling like a cozy home. I've been struggling with how to display stuff in my limited collection, and the amount of care and thought you put into displaying games with room to breathe, while also creating usable setups is truly inspiring! Thanks for making this video, it was an absolute delight to watch! ^^
Thank you so much for the very kind words! That perfect balance of game store and comfortable home for playing games was exactly what I was going for. Best of luck with your collection, and let me know if you ever have any questions along the way! And i just checked out your channel -- awesome renditions! I've got a lot of listening to do now!
Great room, the fit and finish is stunning. I love the vintage signs, they add that nostalgic feel when you walked into Blockbuster and/or Gamestop! Love it!
So damn refreshing to see such a tasteful game room. 90% of the game rooms posted on here are filled to the brim with fucking RGB and funko pops. Good job man.
Fantastic collection and this is one of the cleanest gaming room i've ever seen. Everything is so well thought through. Your setup is pure inspiration to others. Congratz man.
This is one of the only game room videos I've ever seen where I want to move in now with basically no edits. DDR machine, vinyl, SUPER CLEAN, not precious to original hardware. I'm in love dood. Great job.
looks great! very clean, very neat, very organized you can tell the games you have displayed are a curated group of games that mean something to you. great job!
Great attention to detail and a lot of work with making everything quick to change modes and lighting. It's something we all have in our heads when we set up our environments and you actually went the extra mile to get everything working to your satisfaction.
By far the cleanest and nicest game room I've ever seen. Great job with the lighting, audio, and cable management. Also, the forst time I've seen a DDR game in a set up, I love that. I hope to see more videos in the future, subbed!
Awesome setup man. I’ve been collecting for years as well. I just bought my house can’t wait to set up my game room. Thanks for the inspiration great job
Thank you! That space in the PC case was empty for a while quite a while. Once I got around to sorting through my old Lego bin, it wasn't tough to figure out what to place there!
OHMIGOSH!! I looooove your organization!! I’m trying to create a game room for my grandsons (and wow! You inspired like you won’t believe!) Thank you for this in-depth visual delight and wow! You are really great at cable management and you make gaming enthusiast set up look easy - wow

Your game room is such a dream. I love all the retro consoles on the shelves. The room looks like such a nice space to be in. You did a great job on making it into a dream room!
A lot of really cool things in this room, but it's the carpet under the DDR machine that does it for me lol. Seeing that carpet is a real nostalgia bomb. Incredible collection though.

Thank you, I really appreciate that! Some people get the wrong idea and think it only takes money. It has been a long journey with lots of learning and hard work involved (and fun!). Good luck with your future game room! And thanks for the shoutout on the channel name and logo. I spent quite a long time trying to brainstorm a name and design before I uploaded my first video.
That is a beautiful game room you have there, the games for windows sign is fire to have above your PC setup and not something I have seen before. While I love and enjoy consoles and handhelds, above all I've been a PC gamer through the decades of my life so that is something that really speaks to me.
Thank you! That sign is one of my favorites. I started gaming first on PC too, as a kindergartener. Switched to consoles shortly thereafter but these days I'm back to PC when it comes to modern gaming.
This is honestly the best Retro Gaming Setup I've ever seen. You have got the perfect balance between size if the collection and aesthetic. At the same time everything is cleaned and perfectly maintained. Last but not least the great cable management and upscaler, which makes the setup neat and even today very enjoyable. Got some great inspiration for my own setup :)
pretty awesome room, I really appreatate your clean and structured way to handle all this stuff in one room. The attention to detail is inspiring. Thank you for this insight.

Fantastic room and fantastic video. Would definitely love a deep dive into how you setup all of your retro game consoles - the cable management, connections to the TV, what controllers you use and how you connect them when you play. I'm looking to do somehting similar.
Thank you, and I appreciate video idea! So far in a separate video, I've only covered my PC desk setup in depth, but I'll work on a similar explanatory video for the retro setup too. Talking about my favorite controllers would be fun too.
This is fantastic and very inspiring! Great collection and organization! I only had time to watch the first 10 minutes but will be back later to watch the rest. Just had to stop and commend you on that beautiful room!
Thank you! I hope you enjoy the rest. I also put a video up yesterday showing my office setup. It's not as impressive, but you'll probably like that video too if you find time to watch it.
Haha, yes, that is a dreadful thought. I've had to move the whole collection a few times over the past ten years, and it's brutal. On the upside, it forced me to change my layout and find better ways to display things.
Shout out to Pokémon puzzle challenge! My favorite Pokémon game from back in the day. Love the ddr arcade and nice touch with the fans; I can tell you actually get some steps in. Nice collection, sir! Looks like a fun place to chill. Thanks for sharing.

Absolutely awesome setup, really well thought out! Especially with the audio side of things, I don't see that represented enough in many other setups and it's really a shame, because sound can be so important to a great gaming experience, in my mind at least. Damn, I wish I had that much space to work with XD
Thank you! Yeah, I totally agree that audio gear is underrepresented in most setups. It really is an important part of gaming (especially for someone like me who likes rhythm games). And yeah I'm really fortunate to have so much space. Even when I didn't have this much space, I still crammed a bunch of speakers into my setups haha.
incredible clean setup. sometimes less (by less I mean relatively speaking because you have a ton) is more and the curation here is top notch. a lot of channels have rooms filed to the brim with stuff. this is by far the best functional setup
That room is awesome! Great job! & making your own shelves is the way to go considering anything massively produced is not going to work with gaming stuff
You should be so proud my dude. Such a cool room! I love how it's tailored to you! Not just impressive for the sake of being impressive! I do think you should add some dim neutral colored led strips on your built in shelf unit where the magazines are, it would make that area pop a bit more!! Thanks for sharing!!
Thanks for the kind word and idea! I agree; that magazine shelf is one of my favorite spots and could use more light. Hopefully I can eventually work up a solution.
In case you were interested, there's a Kickstarter for an EGM Compendium. I just backed it yesterday. Looks awesome. Also as top tier as this set up is, your kitty is the best part! 😊 (But holy hell, that cable management is beautiful!) Awesome room! 👌
Wow, thanks for letting me know about that! Looks like it will be a really cool book. I'll probably back it for a physical copy. And agreed about my cat! I'll try to feature her in future videos. She plays fetch and is a real lap cat. Thanks again!
Your cable management is top tier.
Thanks, trying to plan and figure it out drove me crazy at times but it's one of my favorite things about the room. Though I sort of miss the days from childhood when I didn't even care about cable management, let alone know of it as a concept!

Wow! It really looks great!
incredible clean setup. sometimes less (by less I mean relatively speaking because you have a ton) is more and the curation here is top notch. a lot of channels have rooms filed to the brim with stuff. this is by far the best functional setup
(But holy hell, that cable management is beautiful!)
Awesome room! 👌
Wow, thanks for letting me know about that! Looks like it will be a really cool book. I'll probably back it for a physical copy. And agreed about my cat! I'll try to feature her in future videos. She plays fetch and is a real lap cat. Thanks again!
