Really appreciate the comment about the value of your games. My young nephew asked me recently what my most valuable game was... My copy of Super Mario Bros. 2 on NES, which my 5'1" grandmother fought to buy me a copy for Christmas, for sure! No other copy, even of the same game, will ever be as valuable as the memory attached. Loved the video!
Well said... I have games like earthbound, chronotrigger, and other over 100 dollar games sitting on my shelf but MY copy of super mario world and ocarina of time and various other "cheap" are on display in plastic cart covers 😂. Value isn't always just monetary
All my most valuable games are the ones by Mum and Dad bought me as a kid. I don't keep those ones on display to protect them and have bought other copies to keep the originals safe.
My favorite part of this video was was that you not only that you showed what you have, but you explained why you decided on particular options, even if they needed customization or don't fit your needs 100%. Your creative solutions gave me ideas on things I can incorporate into my own streaming and production setup!
I first found you guys around 8 years ago when the first tour video was released, I was in middle school at the time and you completely blew my mind. Shortly afterwards, I checked out the rest of the channel and garnered a now deep-seeded appreciation for older games. Now I'm here once again, and I didn't know a space could be optimized this well. You guys have become responsible for so much of where my love for gaming lies, and for that I am grateful.
Amazing video! The end made me a little sentimental. Being very soon in my 40's you realise the process, moments and joys are all that matters after all. Much love from Norway!
part of being a gamer and a collector is about the journey we take, its not just about the games we play along the way, its also about where we play them and who we play them with.
Thanks for making this Coury. Definitely took a lot of effort. It’s interesting to see the decisions you’ve made along the way and how it has influenced your setup. Always appreciate the craftsmanship in these videos and throughout the years.
the updated tour series might be my most anticipated release on this platform, ever! i first discovered MLiG through the original setup tour video as a scrawny middle schooler, with nothing more than a gamecube connected to a hand me down lcd TV over composite. now, 6 years later, i am working on the retro console setup of my dreams. this setup is beyond amazing and i hope to have one with a fraction of the beauty, efficiency, and optimisation of yours. thank you both once again for making amazing informative content for years now, what you both have done for the retro gaming community is truly astounding!
As somebody who only started watching the channel a few months ago (I bought a retrotink and your video was soooo helpful) I’m still learning a lot about both of you and I must say: I wasn’t expecting to agree with you so much about the rationale behind why you’ve built your setup the way you did! It’s great! We share a lot of the same habits lol it’s crazy, your setup is amazing and I hope one day mine will be as good. Looks like a super cozy relaxation cave and I want to build one of my own.
Your original setup diagrams made me take the plunge into a major multi-console setup. Years later I have scaled back considerably to keep things limited, hidden, and simple by design. Stuff like this is hella impressive.
It’s so beautiful. My favorite thing about your older setup videos was looking through the differences between Coury and Try’s setups. It’s the little things that inspire me, like how different the setups are, but still so easily working together! Looking forward to Try’s video soon!
Coury, this is such an awesome view behind the scenes. I love seeing your history of progression and how you made it here. Your current setup is the stuff of dreams for some of us, and this type of video is much appreciated. Definitely one of my new favorite comfort videos. And on top of that it's also very enlightening and educational - just as most of your videos are. Good stuff!!
I want to watch this at least 3 more times by the end of the week. Coury - both you and Try are amazing at what you do and it's always a pleasure watching an incredibly slick production you guys put on for the viewers out there. I'm not the best at checking the livestream, well, live - but I always try to check out some of the archives a few weeks later if something catches my eye. This was a great video and believe me - I just finished and I already want to watch it again to get some tips and tricks for my setups in the future. Thank you! P.S. - I commented on another video way back but man, that rainbow/pride colored Sub Pop sticker on the PVM is fantastic.
Amazing video Coury! What an incredible journey you have been on with your family, thank you for sharing it with us. Love the room! Looking forward to many more videos and Tri posting his updated setup soon, I hope!
This was great. Awesome setup, nice and cozy! Also, your passion for great quality totally justifies the cool tech for sure! One of the things I've always loved most about your channel is the production quality and unique attention to style.
I owe a lot to you guys, my setup exists because of your videos over the years. IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT! Thanks, Coury! Excited to see Try's video as well.
Thank you so much for this video! I really appreciate all of the thought and candor you put into this comprehensive room tour - y'all continue to put out some of the best, entertaining, educational, and heartening retro gaming content on TH-cam Wishing MLiG many more years of success!
Every time I see a new MLiG upload it gets me so excited and I'm never let down! Thank you for all the work you have put in and all the joy you bring to all of us
I know I'm a few weeks late to the party, but I'm so happy you released this! I've always enjoyed these videos from you, so it's nice to have another one to watch. Also, the timing of this is absolutely perfect because I just recently moved countries and shipped all of my stuff here. I've been having some trouble thinking of how to get things set up, so this has given me a ton of ideas. As always, thanks for your hard work with this channel! Also also, crying from 1:03:44 😭 lol
I know from watching the streams regularly that a lot of work gone into this and the end result was well worth it! I love all the detail. I've been watching MLiG since close to the beginning (at the time I was looking for some tips on how to use my new Framemeister), so I almost feel I've been on this journey with you. Definitely some inspiration to help with my own setup as well. Looking forward to Try's video!
Awesome video! Thanks a ton for taking us on a tour of the culmination of years of tinkering to get a setup like you have. I feel like I spend most of my time doing what you did in always trying to optimize my setup and half the fun is seeing if I can even do it. Keep at it man and hope to be watching your videos well into your 80s and 90s!
The amount of work that was given in this video is absurd, Coury really deserves a coffee for this one. Very entertaining to watch while doing some errands. Thank you!
Finally! A new setup video! I've always been curious how y'all's game rooms have changed over the years! Mine kind of changed a bit, but I still wish it could be better.
Yeah, at 31:15, I do video editing at 4K and with my Ryzen 3950X (16core), 64GB and a 3080TI FE, 4K is still a slouch to edit. I use Vegas Pro and it has an "automatic proxy creation" but it just made everything slow to a halt. So I turned that off. And what I did was any video clips I need for the project, is run it through Handbrake and render it at 360p 60fps and ammend the new filename with "_proxy". I then use these to edit which is a live saver and is a billion times quicker. And once done, I basically do a search and replace for "_proxy" and replace with the filename without that phrase and tada: my editing I did in 360p is now all in 4K and it's now ready to be rendered for the final video 😊 Also, at 36:12, my Sony FX3 finally had an update to include Shutter Angle but to my surprise, it was only at intervals and not by the number. So I still can't match my 59.91Hz of my Sony BVM. Grrrr. But the 15-stop dynamic range 4K60 with hat full frame sensor makes up for it I suppose 😅 Ah, this is the problem I have at 37:19 haha I demand a match of Worms Armageddon, btw 😜
Its crazy how you do cool smooth panning shots, of the equipment that you use to do cool smooth panning shots.....while it does cool smooth panning shots.
I've been looking forward to this for so long! I was wondering if you were going to do a comparison between your place in New York and your current home -- HUGE difference. Love the lighting along the shelving, too! Thanks for such a detailed overview of your place
Lovely setup tour. My stomach pangs with nostalgia at all the games, PVM's, Receivers, and more that I've sold over the last couple years while I attempted to "downsize", thinking I was going to get out of the hobby as deep as I was. Seeing videos like this makes me realize I should have kept up with it. All my RGB modded consoles, my PVM14M2U, my Denon Receiver, all those custom cables.. I digress. I appreciate the experience gained from having setup hardware just like this, but I feel I may have torn out a piece of who I was. Thanks so much for the inspiration and passion, Coury!
Great video and what an insane amount of tech in one room! The one piece I saw numerous times without mention was that sweet Raiders poster. Great stuff and appreciate all of your work throughout the years. Cheers!
Perfect timing for my set up! I ran out of room un my game room for my 54 consoles all hooked up so we are building an addition and wanted tips to give the architect who is designing it. This video offers visuals for her which is perfect! Love your setup Coury and thanks for doing this!
That was awesome. I have to tear down my gameroom in the next couple of days myself. Maybe I can use this as a inspiration for the rebuild. Can’t wait to see Marc’s video.
15:20 Man, 10 years went by just like that! No worries though, Coury, all your hard work has definitely inspired our own gaming setups as well. What I experience daily, thanks to your and Mark’s efforts, is simply beyond my imagining. Thanks so much, bruh! 😎
Such a professional and extra setup, I love it! I'm the same with the tinkering, I'm particular about not just one thing but everything. It's all part of the fun. Unlike you I don't have this massive glorious wealth of space and equipment, make the most of it! 🎉
I’m so jealous of your set up. I just have a 42 inch C3 with a Switch, a hacked Wii U and a docked Analogue Pocket hooked up to it. Always on the lookout for a decent CRT.
Bro thank you so much. Now I can point to this video when my wife thinks my setup is getting out of hand. But honestly, thanks man, this is incredible what you've put together.
Run controller extension cables up through the drop ceiling and have the wireless receivers above your sitting position. That way the signals won't drop. You could extend some cheap extensions to the lengths you need for each console.
57:37 I had this foam GBA too! I got mine from the Nintendo representative back when I managed Electronics at Target in the early 2000s. Miss those days…
What a great tour, thanks Coury. Who knew a video about shelves and rats nests of cables could keep me entertained for over an hour? I'm glad you said what you said in your closing thoughts. The hordes of stuff can at times feel like a colossal burden and it's nice to be able to walk away from it and go enjoy time with the people you love. It's the memories we make that brings personal value to the stuff, not the stuff itself.
I've been looking for an affordable DSLR that can do 4K video, seeing that the GH5 has a feature that makes CRT photography even easier is amazing! You are going to make some eBay seller very happy when I buy their camera haha. Great video as usual!
I really enjoyed this video. I love the basement and how buff Coury looks on camera.
His camera added 10 lbs... Of muscle!
Waaaa
Really appreciate the comment about the value of your games. My young nephew asked me recently what my most valuable game was... Have you played the top 16 bit games now?
23:35 Dragon Wang will always be my favorite Coury bit.
You beautiful people. It's finally here. Thank you!
I was just expecting a great room tour but instead got a masterpiece that made me think about life in the context of the spaces we live in.
Amazing video! The end made me a little sentimental. Being very soon in my 40's you realise the process, moments and joys are all that matters after all. Much love from Norway!
part of being a gamer and a collector is about the journey we take, its not just about the games we play along the way, its also about where we play them and who we play them with.
waited 8 years for this video
Great setup vid. The photo montage at the end was great. Cheers Coury and Try and happy late 11th channel anniversary!
Awesome room and awesome channel!
You guys here too
40:48 I like the magazine in the middle ;)
Thanks again guys for the cameo and support! We at SHIRO all love MLIG!
Awesome vid, you killed it! Always nice seeing the pets and the fam enjoying the setup too. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for making this Coury. Definitely took a lot of effort.
It’s interesting to see the decisions you’ve made along the way and how it has influenced your setup.

I imagine myself in that basement with all the consoles connected, sitting on the couch and falling asleep five minutes after starting to play 😂😂😂
that's pretty much me now. I have everything I ever wanted but to tired lmao
Your original setup diagrams made me take the plunge into a major multi-console setup. Years later I have scaled back considerably to keep things limited, hidden, and simple by design. Stuff like this is hella impressive.
This took me a few sessions to finish but it was worth it. You put a lot of effort into this setup. Im eager to see Try’s video when that’s ready!
It’s so beautiful.
My favorite thing about your older setup videos was looking through the differences between Coury and Try’s setups. It’s the little things that inspire me, like how different the setups are, but still so easily working together! Looking forward to Try’s video soon!

One of the best videos on the channel. It’s serves its purpose, detailed and amazingly heartwarming
This is absolutely mind-boggling! I'm so happy you posted this because I love getting ideas of what to do for my setup. Thank you so much ✊️
This was great. Awesome setup, nice and cozy! Also, your passion for great quality totally justifies the cool tech for sure! One of the things I've always loved most about your channel is the production quality and unique attention to style.
so happy to spot my game Lone Survivor in there
I've watched this several times now. Each time, I get another idea for my own setup. Thank you, Coury, for going so in-depth.
I owe a lot to you guys, my setup exists because of your videos over the years. IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT! Thanks, Coury! Excited to see Try's video as well.

Dude thank you so much for this video. I'm such a fan and feel so privileged to be a witness to your passion for gaming! Stay blessed homie!
I really enjoyed watching this. It’s almost nostalgic in its own way. Thanks for putting this video together, Coury.
Great set up! I love the evolution your space went through. Here's to more years of gaming and MLiG!
That's awesome, Coury. I am happy for you. The LEDs really add a flair that is hard to beat.
I've been waiting for this since you uploaded that preview a year ago, this is going to be awesome!
Every time I see a new MLiG upload it gets me so excited and I'm never let down! Thank you for all the work you have put in and all the joy you bring to all of us

Whoa, thanks for the shout out Coury. This was one EPIC video--maybe the next one will be 2 hours a decade from now! :D
[Try4ce] When my video is out, that will probably be about the length of the two tour videos together!
Finally! A new setup video! I've always been curious how y'all's game rooms have changed over the years!
Mine kind of changed a bit, but I still wish it could be better.

Fantastic and a joy to see how far you have come. Try your up! Looking forward to seeing it!
What an awesome video. I still remember when the first setup videos came out and it's amazing to see how far things have come.
thanks for making this video, i will definitely be watching it a few times before the next one!
Bro, thank YOU for letting me be a part of your LiG :)
Incredible, beautiful setup. Thanks as always for sharing.
Such an awesome and well done tour. It was fun getting to see a behind the scenes on the making of these videos.
Love me a setup video. Great cinematography, editing and story telling as always, something to aspire to.
Wow! Amazing setup and video! So cool!
I appreciate the deep and pondering side you bring to it all. Always considering more than just the games themselves
Your videos have been such an invaluable resource. Please, please release physical copies on bluray or dvd
That would be awesome. I’d definitely buy those Blu-ray
It's finally here! Thank you both so much for the work you do!!!!!
The hard work on the video and overall is crazy. The passion is deeply inspiring
thank you for letting me be part of your life in gaming
Lovely setup tour. Great video and what an insane amount of tech in one room! The one piece I saw numerous times without mention was that sweet Raiders poster. Great stuff and appreciate all of your work throughout the years. Cheers!
Great Video, you give us so much to think about, mostly how creative you are solving the complexities yet make it look elegant
I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS FOR SO LONG YESSSSSS
That is a HELL of a gaming and studio tour! Looks amazing!
This is the best tour i ever seen, but outside the gaming space what really made my eyes open was subpop tshirt appearance at 23:48 🔥
Fantastic video Coury. Thanks for making this. It's fun to see how others with these issues solve their problems haha :)
15:20 Man, 10 years went by just like that!
No worries though, Coury, all your hard work has definitely inspired our own gaming setups as well. What I experience daily, thanks to your and Mark’s efforts, is simply beyond my imagining.
Thanks so much, bruh! 😎
Wonderful video as always from MLIG, keep up the good work.
love all the shelving and pegboards. its giving me inspiration for what i might do for when i build a gaming room setup
Damn, that ending speech and montage got me in the feels. Thanks for everything Coury!
Awesome set up. The wire array is mind boggling, and it's all so cozy and functional, dense but roomy enough somehow. Still has character.
Well that was certainly worth the wait..... absolutely top notch set up.
Thanks for sharing Court......now we wait for a room tour from Try👍
Great video. You did a really great job at finding solutions of the stuff you wanted to accomplish with your setup and work flow.
This update was sorely needed!
Loved the video soo much, reminds me that I need to really go through my collection and get it organized and clean.
Can't wait - watching this after work!
This was a REALLY good video. Loved the ending too!
Run controller extension cables up through the drop ceiling and have the wireless receivers above your sitting position. That way the signals won't drop. You could extend some cheap extensions to the lengths you need for each console.
That PS4 /PS5 duel disc idea is genius!!
Worth the wait. Thanks Coury . LEGEND
Love the setup, you gave me some many ideas I want to explore in my setup room now! Love the content!
Such a neat setup of all that old stuff. How many hours have you spent just getting it all put in place properly outside of filming?
57:37 I had this foam GBA too! I got mine from the Nintendo representative back when I managed Electronics at Target in the early 2000s. Miss those days…
WE'RE SO BACK! Love the set-up, Coury!
I had just watched the 2016 episode, glad to see a sequel!
Love the music choices in the background. Mad Stalker Full Metal Force!
FINALLY
The best video I’ve seen from the channel.
The end scares the hell out of me, you’re coming back right? RIGHT!?
I've been looking for an affordable DSLR that can do 4K video, seeing that the GH5 has a feature that makes CRT photography even easier is amazing! You are going to make some eBay seller very happy when I buy their camera haha. Great video as usual!
Sick setup! Loved the Space Harrier cabinet cameo too.
