    YOUR REVIEW IS EXACTLY MY PHASE NOW JUST WANTING TO GO AND EXPLORE PLACES AND NATURE WITHOYT NO PROBLEMS, THERE WHERE OTHER CARS AND SUVS CAN'T...NOW OWNER OF SUV (XTRAIL 19), YESTERDAY TEST DRIVE THE WILDTRAK AND CAN'T FORGET IT!!FOR SURE CAN LIVE WITH! THE HEIGHT OF SITING POSITION, THE POWER OF THE MOTOR AND THE QUIET ISIDE WERE SOMETHING ELSE!!!DIDN'T EXPECT SO MUCH COMFORT ALSO IN THE BACK SEATS NOT ONLY FOR KIDS, YOU DIDN'T MENTION. VERY UNIQUE REVIEW KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!

    Great video, I'm entering the market 😃. A quick tip: to show the viewers how steep a slope is, stop near a high tree that has high branches, take a 3sec shot outside showing road and tree, keeping the tree vertical as a reference.

    I am currently driving an BiTDi 4Motion 132Kw. I plan to transition onto Wildtrack. You did an awesome review...your approach was excellent in reviewing it for 1st'timers. Would have been nice to see how it fends with load , diff lock , and muddy situations. All in all...this was super 'dope '....Review . I like how you mumbled the Merc X.....🤣🤣🤣🤣

    Great review. In UK there is sadly still some residual resentment for this type of vehicle but personally i always liked the idea of owning one and having now finally done that (second hand and not a Ranger) i would rather drive a pick up than even a Range Rover.
    You quickly get to see their advantages far outweigh their downsides although granted, they are still not a cheap vehicle to run compared to a car.
    Now they have finally evolved into much easier to live with vehicles, those disadvantages are reducing significantly and i think a great many more people will choose to own them - even in the UK- and i can see the day when we even have affordable electric versions. Although by that time, the only thing i will be driving is a zimmerframe.

    Great review. I too am are one of those that's moving from a car to a pick up. One thing in the uk is that Pick-ups are more focused on being sold as a commercial vehicle than a personal one and getting finance can be difficult as well as selling features. Most places will be advertising the cost of the pick-ups with the VAT. Not everyone's choice is a pick up, but I too like sitting high in a vehicle

    Excellent video, I am in a similar situation considering these vehicles for the first time. The only thing is the length of these vehicles. In Australia everyone parks these things on the street as they don’t fit in their garages.

      Thanks Henry! After this video I went and actually bought an older version, an Everest as well but the platform remains similar and funny enough the parking wasn't too much of an issue. Once you get used to the dimensions it becomes easier. Please let me know if you end up buying one and what your experience is!

    Im confused as to what lugging the turbo and damaging sparkplugs has to do with a diesel engine🤔

    In Zambia🇿🇲 we don't get the Bi-Turbos ☹️. Would love to try something new other than the usual 3.2L

      Keep the 3.2, it will most likely outlast the 2.0

      The 2.0L is a quicker engine...better drive around car.

    I dont understand why do you always have to say pickup and it is clearly disturbing you when you speak... just stick to bakkie you have already explained what it is.....be proud of your origin

    Whats the fuel consumption like?

    • @theshiftrsa3285
      @theshiftrsa3285  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You’ll average about 9l/100km if you drive conservatively. Considering that this is the bi-turbo engine with the highest power output for a Ranger from factory, it’s pretty decent. You can’t get away from high rolling resistance and poor aerodynamics in a pickup so expect less economy than the diesels found in regular cars. But all things considered, good economy for the power!
