It's awesome at towing, pulling very comfortably with no issues, it pulls away from junctions cleanly I have single axle and triple axle trailers, and it copes well with the weight up to 3500kg. In the uk we have one engine with a single turbo and the wildtrak with the bi turbo I've had the older 2.2 engine and the bi turbo seems a lot more capable. Works great for us. Under New Zealand laws a ute like the Ranger can legally tow more than anything else. Something like a Landcruiser 200 would tow better obviously, but we are limited to 6,000kg GVM regardless of the tow vehicle. 2 ton ute, 3,500kg boat and 500kg left over for payload works fine.

My 2019 Wildtrak has gaps under the side profile of the sports bar which should be sealed water tight against the top of the rear tub. The idiots at the factory have been fitting them incorrectly on literally hundreds of Wildtraks but when I raised the issue with Ford Australia, I've received every ridiculous excuse under the sun as to why the gaps are there, other than an admission that they actually stuffed up. If you stand at the rear wheels and look at the rear tip of the sports bar on the Wildtrak just above the rear lights and can see clear daylight between the two parts then you also have one of the hundreds of defected Wildtraks. Take it back to your dealer and demand a repair. The metalwork of the rear tub has been distorted upwards due to excess force being used to install some steel inserts which they use to bolt down the side profile of the sports bar. The net result is that side profile is then raised and can't seal properly on to the top of the tub.

It's in the DNA. Henry Ford used to go around scrap yards identifying components from Model Ts which had too much outlasted the rest of the car, and tell his engineers to cheapen that component.
Cars guide wtf ? I was very disappointed with your weight calculations. You have forgotten all about maximum axel loading The rear axel on all these duel cab utes is about 1.8 or 1.9 tons with the front axel being about 1.4 ton. Being that the whole payload is on the rear axel and the passengers being centred spreed the weight on both axels you will be hard pressed to load 954kg and stay within your rear axel load limits. Is this a serious review or just and ad for Ford cause they lent you a car? The 2.0 is what I'm referring to.
What’s the matter Prophecy Cat? Did a Ford run over one of your cat friends? Cats cannot foretell the future by the way, otherwise they wouldn’t set fire to things or attempt to murder people like a couple have recently.
It's in the DNA. Henry Ford used to go around scrap yards identifying components from Model Ts which had too much outlasted the rest of the car, and tell his engineers to cheapen that component.

Interesting. Got a source for that?
@@benhuang2773 he's probably referring to one of those woke sites. Ford was one of the lizard people don't you know.
Hello sir! What’s the difference between Ford Ranger 2019 and 2020?
Same thing
Ken Molotsi but, I saw one more function is Tire pressure in 2019 Ranger dose not have yet. And the back seat is more interested.
@@pbvlogger3748 tyre pressure sensor was in the 2015 Rangers. No change to the back seat.
Solid drive, advanced technology yet.. after few thousand milage stopped highway side showing power trans mulfuntion. No ideal why? 10speeds... 😒😒😒
Looks like the sporttrac...... at least this model does
8.3 is too underrated.
😂😂🤣🤣😂😅😅🤣 the intro !
Look amazing
Ya a real work house until you see the ranger raptor then your like uh I bought the wrong one
How's the suspension?
Comfortable. More plush than previous models but with less body roll.
0:30 lol
Glad SOMEONE commented on it.
Cheers
Matt
It was pretty funny. 😂👍👊
Gdday, soo popular in Australia and hilux
THE TORQUE CONVERTER.....
Please Ford give us a V6 Wildtrack.
Cars guide wtf ? I was very disappointed with your weight calculations. You have forgotten all about maximum axel loading
The rear axel on all these duel cab utes is about 1.8 or 1.9 tons with the front axel being about 1.4 ton.
Being that the whole payload is on the rear axel and the passengers being centred spreed the weight on both axels you will be hard pressed to load 954kg and stay within your rear axel load limits.
Is this a serious review or just and ad for Ford cause they lent you a car?
If your going to review a product don’t just read out the press release, do your research and do the review properly or don’t do it at all !
Link to your car review channel please 🙏
Sam S sorry mate I don’t have a car review channel but I think you already know this.
I do wish that there was a car review channel giving us practical facts in relation to pay loads for real work work utes as I said axel maximum loading is so easy to go over if you’re not looking out for it😉
How about trying 700kg in the tub.
But it does have an air vent inside the side storage compartment
700kg in the back is nothing for them, I carry a large fuel tank for filling up machinery in the back of my Ranger and apart from a slightly higher centre of gravity you really don’t know the weight is there. 700kg barely even makes the suspension sag.
th-cam.com/video/lkD7ys5C3PU/w-d-xo.html - This video shows how to fix the common problem of noise behind the dash with the rangers , its a great fix
in my counrty you need a heavy t license to drive one
This was not the 2020 model.
So this video says 2020 wildtrak.. not a damn difference between this and the 2019 2.00L version?? Seriously is there even ONE THING DIFFERENT????
Think the MY19.75 is deemed to be the 2020 model. The difference with the MY19 i believe is the AEB with pedestrian detection
Captain Dasbomb ohk could be ay
@@unfrggnbelievble8320 A bit of make up. Pretty common after June 30 with most car makers.
SFA. The biggest difference is SFA and it's huge.
That face on a baby.. what to freak us out
2 straps holding down all those bags of concrete lol. how the hell do you get away without a proper cover over the load.
Cement.
Sampe ke indonesia taun berpaa kira* om
sya rindu ford
I have the same car and the same color
Hmm...I really don't trust Ford mechanical durability, especially if it's a pissy little 2.0 L with two turbos.
Must be a paid video! Brakes are good?? Lol its got drums in rear haha! Also another of poo nearly came out when someone pulled out in front of me
Good car
Ranger indeed..
ye gday
Istimiwir wong
Still better than a HiLux 😂
