So I clarified the warranty with changing the bulbs and this is how I understood it: You are free to change the bulbs BUT anything that goes wrong that relates to the changed non-Toyota certified bulb makes the warranty void. So if a Wigo owner changes the bulb to an aftermarket bulb and is having engine problems that has no relation to the bulb, then the warranty for anything else stays. But lets say there is an electrical problem and it is concluded that it was because of the aftermarket bulb, that is where the warranty becomes void. Knowing this after the video was published, we suggest to go to an authorized Toyota Service Center and have them replace the bulb with a certified Toyota Genuine Part to maximize your warranty. - Nics
This is one of the best review that I watched for toyota wigo. Toyota is toyota, reliability has been tested for years. The sales for toyota wigo 2021 model is now more than 8,000 units have been sold, still the number 1 best selling hatchback in the country..
Thanks for the comprehensive review and sharing your unbiased thoughts. Those are a big help for me. I just got a TRD SE and your review helped me decide better
first time stumbling upon you channel, aside from cacao from autodeal YT channel. i admire the whole review. Now i decided to go for the G and use the extra for gas money :D
I'm glad I was able to help you decide in which Wigo to get. It was funny because on the original script, I was already locked in to the Wigo TRD S. It was only later within the day that I thought about all the gas money you can save. So yeah, I guess we were both thinking the same :) - Nics
This is the first car that i really consider. But i picked the G variant instead. 1 good reason for me is that 40k++ additional money can buy you a lot of accessories for the car. Nag join ako sa group ng wigo and for the body kit as long as it's not from toyota you can get cheaper one. And for the dashcam you can get high quality with just 5k. The only thing that i really want to consider this trd is the ios carplay and android auto.
My brother owns a 3+ year old Wigo. He attests to its durability: NO PROBLEM after 3 years. I like the yellow color of this Wigo. Though I still prefer the Honda Brio (also in yellow color) primarily bec of the higher hp and torque. I guess one can't go wrong with either the Wigo or Brio 👍👏💪
THIS is the advantage of the Wigo vs the Brio: you have Wigo's that are doing okay since their launch 5-6 years ago. But that being said, I haven't heard of any big problems with the Brio. So I agree with you, can't go wrong with either! - Nics

I prefer the G variant. it is more elegant than the TRD branding. and I can get a cheap but good quality market dashcam. for Android Auto, I believe you can get something for less. so the PHP42,000 is just too much for aesthetics and accessories. I'm good with the G A/T variant.
I personally couldn't care less about the apple car play, Android auto, and the body kit. the g variant is more than enough for what I need. and if i was confident with my clutch work I would actually get the g mt variant but since I'm not, I'll go for the auto
If you want a fast car, then get a supercar! Plain and simple. Don't look for something that is not in your price point.. So far, the most non-pretentious review I've seen.. cheers!
Hey Nics, can you possibly do a feature on an aftermarket brand? I think people need to know about this brand and you probably heard of it. It's Steinbauer.
Personally, the body kit looks too tacky for me specially since they bombarded it with the TRD branding so much. The only thing I liked in the TRD variant is the dashcam.
Can't make up your mind huh? :) If Kia PH came out with the Picanto GT that in my opinion would be a better option than the TRD. As it is now, Wigo looks like a winner.
@@cmagph Yeah. Sucks that we miss out on the good models and trims. Heck we don't even have the Alto Works, the Rio GT, Nismo Sentra, TRD Camry. Ok now I'm getting teary eyed just thinking about it LOL

I rather save the 42k and go with the G variant. Theres not much of a difference between the TRD and G variant really except for the dash cam and body kit which still looks like a regular Wigo to me. But yeah I'll go for the G.
Gas over Accessories? no contest. hehe I will only invest on something that I CAN see. Maybe viewers won’t appreciate it for this color. I would pick the white and red for TRD variant.
Sorry for the confusion. But here is a summary: The PhP 42,000 difference can either be used for gas or used for the additional things like body kit, android auto + apple carplay, and a dash-cam. So get the G if the gas is more important or get the TRD S if the extra stuff are more important. I hope this clarrifies!
