The extra gear on the Celerio's 5 speed a/t is already worth the price difference. Wnen it comes to small displacement engines, the more gears the better.
That’s a different kind of transmission though the celerio has an amt which is harsh compared to the wigo’s traditional a/t. I think the wigo has a much more refined transmission even though it only has 4 gears.
a slushbox generates a virtual 1st gear by using the torque converter. so the 1st gear on a 4spd is kinda like 2nd gear on m/t. old school and reliable that's why 4spd a/t are still being sold in 2023

Kung sa tipid pag-uusapan go na with celerio. Especially kung daily drive ka going to work. Makatipid ka ng around php P200-300 per week sa gasoline vs kung wigo ka given 5x a day ang pasok mo malaking bagay na rin yon. Pera pa rin yong P200-300 a week savings. Celerio na since japanese din yan and reliable naman ang suzuki.
Downside lang kasi ni wigo maliit nga makina tipid pero yung 4 speed automatic transmission nya old design parin yung since 80-90’s technology na transmission yun pa rin nakasalpak kaya hindi sya fit sa todays need na fuel economy. Kaya tingnan nyo yung raize 1.0, same yun na makina ni wigo nilagyan lang ng turbo tapos ang transmission non makabago “cvt” matipid sa gas kahit malaki body dahil sa new cvt transmission. Although tipid parin naman si wigo kesa sa vios nonetheless.

Okay din talaga itong Celerio. Isa sa mga choices ko ngayon sa hatchback. Sulit din. Kaso naalala ko lang bigla yun mga nakatabi ko naguusap sa labas, nakakita ng Celerio. Tinawanan ang Celerio, pangit daw ng itsura.

Celeriac walang apple car play or android auto, walang rear view camera, mas mababa ang ground clearance at higit sa lahat napaka weird ng placement ng window switches. Wigo wins.
Wigo ako. Bad move for Suzuki to up the price.
bad move sa suzuki ang pag taas nila ng price. kaya sila mabenta dahil sa affordable mga sasakyan nila but now there are so many better options dun sa price point na tinaas nila.

for me I still go for Toyota Wigo, hanep sa porma sa mukha at ang daming features na nabago, mataas pa sa ground clearance niya at mas maluwag sa loob kasi mas mahaba wheel base niya

especially in fuel consumption i salute to toyota wigo because wigo can mark at leat 6 to 8 km per 1 liter of gasoline while Suzuki celerio can only make 28 to 32 kilometers per 1 liter of gasoline........
@@mikemedina1593 yeah specially if you race with toyota wigo you can have 6-8 km/L gas consumption. But what disappoints me with wigo is that if you drive it responsibly like a normal human, it can only give you 12-16 km/L on city drive and 18-22 km/L long drive. And toyotas dont really last long, only 25-30 years and about 300-500 thousand kilometers of running… so disappointing.
@@quickyreviews6597 you are telling a lie toyota is known to be a car brand that is not that good when it comes to fuel efficiency hahaha you are joking here fellah, you open the comments of those owners of toyota vios almost all of them comment that their fuel consumption is not good, my uncle owns a brand new toyota vios and he sell it now because it is worst when it comes to fuel efficiency also watch these on you tube Drive review on toyota wigo by atty karen jimeno, for you to know that the maximum fuel efficiency that wigo can possibly attain is only 8 kmpl ., not to mention the free wheeling that the driver will do just to attain the 8 kilometer per liter of wigo very very amazing ......
@@mikemedina1593 dude.. Im actually a wigo owner here. I haven’t tried to have an 8km/L not even on my worst day. And we are talking about wigo not vios. I only said that generally toyota cars are more reliable than some brands that are available in our market, I didn’t say toyotas are most fuel efficient. And hey if you dont like toyota then own something else haha. We are entitled to our own opinion, and certainly my opinion is based from my experience.

I agree.I mean the base model ng wigo ay 568.000 pesos lang.Compare sa base model ng celerio na may 706.000 pesos, in short the price gap between wigo and celerio is nearly 200.000.

Basic...our weather and road conditions are similar with India. Why would you bring a jdm model that that is tuned for a country that snows (think aircon compatibility), has good paved roads (think suspension and ground clearance)..sales drop? you must be living in a different country. hahaha
JDM kei cars are actually more expensive to import and sell aside from not reliable as 660 turbocharged engines don't last that long..Utak naman dyan!

From what I reckon, since August of 2016, the entire Daihatsu was purchased by Toyota Motor Corporation for a hefty price (I just don't know the exact amount), and thus, why I posted "Wigo is Toyota, period".
Discussing the matter in another way, for purposes of friendly exchange of ideas, it's just like saying, too, that "The flagship sedan brand Lexus, is a Lexus, period-- which is owned by TOYOTA."

Hahaha brio kayo ng brio wala naman sa comparo un. Bukod sa makina wala dn naman nilamang yung brio in fact nag taas na rin ang price ng brio wala naman dinagdag sa features. Moreover , you will pay for signature honda engine and a honda emblem.
