It is a dependable and very reliable car.Though the price in Phillippines is quite steep .The top spec car cost ony rm 45000 (500,000 peso) in Malaysia..I am astounded this car cost 700,000 peso (rm60000) there..And i thought the price of car in Malaysia are expensive!Anyway..i like the reviewer..He is like the Matt Watson of the Phillippines.
Axia is cheaper because it is under the National brand Perodua. Toyota Rush in Malaysia is way more expensive than the Perodua Aruz, which is actually the same car.

i was one of the first 200 customer/owner of wigo way back 2014 when they first launch it here in phils.i can say na happy naman ako kase mdi naman ako binigyan ng sakit ng ulo.change oil/filter lang maintenance ko twice ko pa nga lang sya napapalitan ng trans.oil.and still running smoothly.
This car has 3 other twinnies: Toyota Agya and Daihatsu Ayla in Indonesia and Perodua Axia in Malaysia. In fact, Toyota Wigo was manufactured in Indonesian factory and exported to Philippines in CBU.

I really want to have or own a car , and i want to work hard for it not just to get it in a easy way. I have a Corolla S. The road noise comes with the S trademark of Toyota. They do that so you feel like you're in a Sports car. If you want soundproofing & other stuff go for the luxury models.
Poor performance maybe, poor quality hell no! What performance do you need? Are you going to race in the streets? It's a tricycle replacement for people who are naka luwag luwag. When it comes to quality, wala na tatalo sa Toyota. Yes the Brio or Picanto might be faster & have the tech you want but Toyota rarely needs to do that with their vehicles. When you're buying Toyota you are buying a car that can literally last 20 years or more while the competition is stuck in 6 years.

Swift is a killer. The amount of cabin space from that little guy is unbelievable. I own both Swift and Ford Everest and you can't really notice the difference on the amount of space especially at the front.

Celerio or S-presso (same engine) gets around 25-28km/L highway. Eon and Alto are more fuel efficient but the the cabin space and the amenities are too spartan. spend a little more for a Celerio or if in a tight budget the S-presso.

Wow, 11 km/L average city is... terrible..? My GF and I are getting 20 km/L city on average when we drive a bit calmly in a 2014 Mitsubishi Space Star/Mirage.
Like the review but not the car, with this engine size and car size it should be more economical in the city,, i know the traffic here is outrageous, but it should be able to give atleast more than 13km/L.. im guessing this car is HEAVY for its size coz its weight is not mentioned, everything is affected by weight,, handling, economy, acceleration etc..
700k for this? Just add a little more and you have a base suzuki ertiga which you can fit more people or cargo, or if you're single and on a budget the suzuki s presso is a much more affordable car at 518k one downside its manual only,

budget car naman kse hanap mo pag pnili mo wigo.. why would you buy it kung gusto mo performance? wigo was built as part of ecological car program ng SEA.. the engine was designed for fuel economy and lower emission.. the 1kr ve is an improved version of 1krfe which won multiple consecutive international engine of the year under 1.0 liter it wont give you high hp sa totoo lang kse di naman un ang target and toyota is known to underpower their machine in exchange of realibility.. they could have ship the 1.2 or the turbocharged version pero di nila ginawa kse naman dahil sa reason na un.. and i would prefer an automatic or manual than cvt, mas maingay pa nga cvt pag nag rev eh, pag uphill mag shift ka lang ng maayos.. sa vibration natural 3 cylinder eh, pero kung marunung ka sa maintenance nababawasan ung vibration nya.. and yes brand ang binabayaran mo dito, it maybe made by daihatsu but remember it is subsidary of toyota kaya ung quality assurance nandun pa din khit anu pa sabihin ng iba.. nasa preferences and expectations mo lang talga yan
Boss pano mo masasabing quality ang build nyan porke toyota? Alam mo nmn siguro na ung kaha nyan sobrang nipis tulak mo lang ng konti nayuyupi. And ang interior nya. Cheap plastic. Kaya pag nadaan sa lubak parang nagkakalasan. Parang ang pag build sa kanya ay puro clip lang at walang mga turnilyo. Explain mo boss panu naging quality un.
@@trixtrix2572 alam nyo sir, budget car yan dont expect na makakita ka ng interior na gaya ng ibang 700 plus na kotse.. quality it means sa presyo nya at par na, if you want better interiors and better ride quality then get a benz or bmw.. pero kung sinasabe mo na mas maganda ride ng picanto or brio to wigo, you fool yourself, well i dont believe it parepareho lang suspension nan.. ung sinasabe mo na madaling nayuyupi most cars are made out of aluminum at may mga crumple zone yan.. bkit ung mirage or eon nakikita ko nga madali din magka dent eh, di naman tulad yan ng dating mga sasakyan.. if the build quality is not enough for you dont buy it, but there is a reason why the government of indonesia and other SEA are supporting it.. problema kse alam lang natin puro performance and interiors but these cars are made for a target, its target is to get people to buy these cars for its low cost low emissions and for its ecological features.. if toyota passed the car through its QA then its good enough for me..

@@trixtrix2572 alam nyo sir, for 630k compare mo sa iba, ok na un.. di naman ako maarte sa ingay, sa totoo lang ung presyo lang ng jeep un eh o mas mahal pa nga jeep pero wala naman ako angal dun.. bakit sa mga eco cars puro naman plastic ah.. meron ba mga soft touch plastic sa mga econo car? about performance, hindi hp ang laban dito kundi CO2 emission.. di hamak na mas mababa emission ng 3 cylinder (99) compare sa 4 (125).. sabagay di na pinapansin dito sa pinas yan pollution na yan kse puro utak na lang eh performance..

Wow, 11 km/L average city is... terrible..? My GF and I are getting 20 km/L city on average when we drive a bit calmly in a 2014 Mitsubishi Space Star/Mirage.
Like the review but not the car, with this engine size and car size it should be more economical in the city,, i know the traffic here is outrageous, but it should be able to give atleast more than 13km/L.. im guessing this car is HEAVY for its size coz its weight is not mentioned, everything is affected by weight,, handling, economy, acceleration etc..

700k for this? Just add a little more and you have a base suzuki ertiga which you can fit more people or cargo, or if you're single and on a budget the suzuki s presso is a much more affordable car at 518k one downside its manual only,
