Dr. Who is many things it can be campy, funny, scary, sad, creepy, chilling, horror but at most of all it's science fiction and a time travel show and is considered to be the longest running science fiction series in the world and has a long 60 year history. Usually i advise people to watch the Classic series first because that's the one that started it all but if your not into slow pace black and white and good old fashioned cheesy effects then i probaly suggest watch all of New Who from 2005 onwards then start with Classic that's usually the easiest option if you choose to watch this.
There are so many references throughout the seasons that suggesting to start in the middle is just ruining it at that point. And that’s coming from someone who started the show literally a week ago! I’m on season 6 and i would’nt have enjoyed it if i didn’t start from season 1

This show is campy as fu**, but also really funny, really dark, really dramatic and naughty at times, but most of all, just really awesome.
You should definitely react to the whole show, your personality and demeanor is so fun to watch!!!

You could even start with the Pandorica Opens then The Big Bang It explains a lot about the Doctor's time traveling.
