in today’s video, i wanted to share one of the most nerve-racking and worrisome chapters of my life. shifting and transferring is one of the processes that you figure out along the way. when i got accepted into up diliman, i knew that the course wasn’t for me. i am grateful for being able to learn and make a lot of loving memories with a lot of amazing people in the course that i was in, but i just knew, in my heart, that i needed to make the decision of transferring. i knew that i had to make a change even if i would take the risk. so after months of contemplating, i was able to transfer from up diliman to up manila. so in this video, i wanted to talk my experience as a transfer student-all the good, all the bad, and everything in between.

I can somehow relate to ate Pat's experience as a transferee student,but mine was a Little bit hard because I'm a muslim and all of my classmates were non-muslims so ang hirap makipag socialize sa kanila.😭😭😭

Hello po ate! 💗 I’m an incoming freshie po at UPM but I’m already planning to transfer to UPD come second year. (So medyo same situation po tayo😅). May I ask po if magiging irregular student po ba ako no’n? Or like I’ll eventually become a regular student din naman po along the way?
And if I’ll become an irregular student, hindi rin po ba no’n ako sabay gagraduate sa mga ka-batch ko?

Hi miss, my sister passed in her 2nd choice in UP LB stat but Arki ang choice talaga niya pero hindi pinalad sa UPD. Is it easy to transfer to UPLB to UPD then shift ng course?

Thank you for this video po, and congrats for the successful transfer ate! 🎉 Btw I'd just like to ask if it's okay to ask for guidance from your adviser as early as start of classes of first sem about the transfer to other up campus po. I'm an incoming freshmen sa uplb cas po and planning to transfer next year to upd coe po sana. It makes me nervous btw thinking the process would be very hassle and hard, and my gwa would not be that high to be qualified for transfer po 😅. Your response is highly appreciated po ate, thank you in advance!!!
hii!! omgg congrats!! 🤩🤩 it’s totally fine to ask from your advisers. in my case, my adviser asked firsthand if we had any plans to shift/transfer and i was very honest from the start! it would be helpful because you would need their signature and documents from the office that only they can access! 🤍🤍

What if your gwa is high but you failed a subject before but passed it after retaking it? Should I still try?
Hello, Ate!! I am a Bio student po from another CU. If I transfer po in upm but still in the same course degree, is it true that they don't credit the units you've taken? You're back to a first year level student?

Gosh i am from B fine arts in up diliman and planning to shift to BS Architecture :(( is it possible po ba? (Within up diliman)

I always wonder kung yung mga courses like theatre arts, film, or creative writing is lagi bang nauubusan ng slots, asking any up students po
this is late, but as far as i know hindi naman masyadong nauubusan ng slots sa nabanggit mo :> if ever man, most possibly film yung maraming applicants for shifting.

Hello ate Ask ko lang po if totoo po yung sabi ng iba na kahit sobrang yaman mo pa daw pero pag di kanaman tlaga matalino di ka daw po makakapasok sa UP kasi high standard daw po yung UP is that true?
hi! i think all schools are naman! but i think up really has a way of choosing the best of the best! either way, you really have to do your best when it comes to up because although you already got in, it’s all about surviving! 😭
