Hello Doc! I'm an avid viewer of your vids and I must say na super love ko kung paano mo inexplain yung course namin which is BS in Public Health. Super underrated kasi talaga 'yung field, even ako, ngayon ko lang narealize kung gaano gaimportante ang field na ito. I'm so happy of the path that I've chosen and I hope a lot of people will consider to be public health workers.

Hi Doctor Dalvie! Nakakatuwa po mga videos niyo hehe. Very informative din po! Took the UPCAT 2020 pero hindi po nakapasa. Will apply for the Iskolar ng Bayan Program. Sana matanggap pa rin po ako ng UPM. Public Health po first choice ko since upcat application hahaha pati po sa INB program public health pa rin po pinili ko. Napakagandang field hehehe.

Hi Doc Dalvie, I'm a graduate of MA Public Administration and also a Social Science professor. I agree that Public Health in our country is weak and we have a lot of advancement to do. Thanks for mainstreaming it, ang usaping Public Health ay hindi lamang dapat nasa akademya ngunit dapat rin napaguusapan ng karaniwang tao ng may sapat na impormasyon sapagka't nakasalalay dito ang kaligtasan at kalusugan ng nakakarami. I'm an avid viewer din po of your vlogs and started to look up on you eversince I found out that your a DTTB pala before. I'm actually waiting for your next vlog because you'll be giving insights about BS Pharmacy in that vlog. I'm still torn between taking BS Pharmaceutical Sciences po kasi and my course in ADMU (not very related to medicine that's why I'm very confused on whether to pursue it or not kasi sayang din po yung scholarship ko doon) and knowing na BS Pharmacy is kinda different from my actual UP course as well. I'll ask lang po sana if BSPS graduates do stand a good chance of getting admitted into UPCM considering po na it's more on drug discovery compared to BS Pharmacy na patient-centered. Pero I think your next vlog is already done na po and ready for uploading, so okay lang po if hindi niyo masagot. Thank you so much po, Doc Dalvie, and keep inspiring po! 😊

I'm currently an incoming grade 12 student po and am now thinking of what pre-med course I need to take for college. Since mahal nga pong magpa-aral ng isang future doc, I want to go to UP po, however there's no Med Tech course available there. What would you suggest I can consider as my pre-med course options po na significantly linked or makakatulong talaga sa akin who aspires to take cardiothoracic surgery as my specialization in the future, and at the same time available po sa UP? Nainspire po kasi ako sa video niyo eh nung time po na yun is nagiisip na po ako ng medical field na course. Baka po may tips kayo para makahelp sa pagdedecide ko po ng kukunin kong course. Hello Doctor Dalvie ❣️ Nursing student po ako magth third year in August. And laking probinsya po ako (Walang idea sa Manila). And iniisipan ko if maganda i pursue ang pagme med sa Manila in the future 😅. Gusto ko sumunod sa yapak ng daddy ko. And isa pang pumipigil saken is yung "Age". Yung gusto ko na agad makapag ipon para sa family ko. Ang parents naten patanda na, parang sa loob ko I want to make the most out of it na mapasaya sila ❣️

I want to take bs biology as my pre med course but I'm not sure if i will proceed into med school. That's why i made 2 option. It's either a medtech or nursing but sadly, they said there's no medtech in UPD or UPM 🥺🥺

Hi doc! I find ur videos really substantial and entertaining 😍 I'm an aspiring med student here! My degree program is BSPH in UPM. I'm just not so sure if I'd pursue med pa knowing how vital my course in itself is for the country. Do you think I can still practice Public Health (leaning on health systems and policy making) even if I pursue medschool? Or would you suggest that I stay on track with my course and help in improving our counrty's public health? I'm just anxious that I wouldn't be able to apply what I learned in my course as being a medical doctor is more on, as you've said, individualized healthcare. Hello June! PH alumni here na nasa med school. Pwede ka naman mag-PH track kahit mag-med ka kasi iba-iba naman ang mga expert sa public health. Ako ang balak ko pagkatapos ng med ay mag-MPH at DrPH (health policy) kung kaya pa. Definitely mas maraming opportunity kapag doktor ka pero dahil iba na yung PH curriculum niyo (2018 ako nag-grad) eh baka mas madali na sa inyo makapasok sa magandang trabaho sa DOH o sa mga NGO. Sa totoo lang naiinggit nga ako sa curriculum niyo. PH is ♥️
