The fact that Beth's ideal version of Jerry sees her as a goddes is pretty fucked up when you think about it, Beth surely's got some serious issues.
You're getting it twisted. Goddess Beth is how Macho Jerry sees Beth. Macho Jerry is how Beth sees Jerry while he is kicking ass . It's showing that in that moment she saw Jerry as devoted to her. The machine is supposed to exaggerate those feelings to create the clone. So of course someone who is an exaggerated version of a devoted protector is going to produce an exaggerated being of devotion : a god/goddess.

@@LunaBirbosa the OP is correcter on this than you are. Beth, due to her father's conceived "awesomeness" sees herself as a better being. She is a descendant of her almighty great father after all. Beth has always thought of herself as someone better, and always craves someone to "acknowledge" it. And others do see her as more "powerful" in a sense. but she wants to be perceived as a positive being, instead of a feared one.
She is just as arrogant as rick, but without the ability to back it up, and she also cares that others also see her the way she sees herself, while rick just literally doesn't care.
Human-wise beth is the worst person in the whole show.

I think the part where Summer makes Rick listen to music and actually deal with his teenage angst and emotions is one of the funniest part 😂

Just a thought since you're talking about how Beth and Jerry are happy in a couple universes near the end.
Do you notice the only universes that they're happy with their marriage, morty and rick aren't around?
There's a pattern with them- their relationship only works when they have a common enemy to cooperate against (like in Cronenberg Universe, or here). Rick doesn't help, because Beth is a doormat for him most of the time because she doesn't want her father to leave, so he's only Rick's enemy.

I find it funny that Jerry, and Beth's relationship is always at its strongest whenever there is some type of adversity, but as soon as things go back to normal it always fall apart.

Not every Rick has a Morty, actually, It's been shown before with Doofus Rick and during the inter-dimensional cable episode when Summer sees all the universes when Beth and Jerry never have Summer. Some Ricks never get married and never have children, and some Beths never have Summer and Morty.

But when the other three are exploring their theories about the show, can you not jump on them straight away and shoot it down and correct them, kind of haults their thought process. Rick needed variables that ricks can't account for to counter the Citadel of RICKS. That's why Rick always loses to Jerry, he can't calculate why Beth loves him and why he makes her the happiest. The children of these two would either be geniuses or so random the citadel would have a hard time tracking ricks movements.

I really don't like Susan. This episode basically proves that the basis of their relationship is literally Jerry worshiping his wife and treating her like a supreme being only for her to lord over him and treat him like a worm, yet she is often the one who is unhappy and tries to break up their relationship. This is separate but, they got together in the first place because she got pregnant and Jerry took responsibility to support her to become a doctor while he took care of the kids. In one of the early episodes when Jerry mentions summer's conception as the reason they are together she gives a very hesitant answer, suggesting that Jerry might actually not be Summers father at all and she just needed someone to rely on. Think about the fact that Summer is a redhead when no one else in the family including Jerry's parents are.

Joel Sasmad Jerry is in fact Summers child. Her face is basically Jerry with a ginger ponytail. And before you go onto makesome theories at least try to remember one of the main characters names while into two seasons of the show 😂. Also Jerry doesn’t think Beth is a goddess, he thinks she’s a monster, only Beth’s perception of Jerry when he’s heroic sees her as a goddess, meaning even after All that Jerry doesn’t change his perception of Beth. So who’s worse here? A person who would leave his wife to die just for his own safety or a depressed alcoholic who’s fed up of her husbands pathetic antics.
