Blacknight125 I'm late, but that is from Pokémon Black Randomizer Nuzlocke, when Ghetsis had a Slow Start Pichu as one of his Pokémon. (Which basically made the battle a freebie.)
Should have used Sandshrew against the Poison guy when you forfeited the first time, Ground is good against Poison.
True, but Spinarak has very weak defenses overall, so I'm sure Earthquake would take it out.
A lot of his pokemon were poison/grass too, and grass resists ground as well
eq will 1 shot almost anything on that dudes team after calcs. sandsrew also resists almost every attack

that's technically not true. It'll still miss if the target is in the semi-invulnerable state of fly or dig.
It merely bypasses the accuracy check.

Why? The Bug type would have evened out the damage because bug resists ground.

Pidgey's Mirror Move would have been useful against Nidoran. With how often it was using Headbutt you could have used it as well, with a massive increase in power due to STAB.

I never use Ditto in anything other than 6v6 battles because you need to control the pace of battle to not only get ditto in battle but also Transform so 2 turns wasted before you even attack. Otherwise you have to open with ditto and PRAY you get lucky, and if you are praying you are not winning.
I briefly played the equivalent of Stadium for generation 4, where you can battle in big 3D graphics on your TV, and I always enjoyed using my OP legendaries from HeartGold.

i love that game so much, the minigames are just soooo good (except golbat) and the quizzes are fun too. still playing this today when my friends are over at my house
I thought random caps is to differentiate pokemons between teams? Your pokemons always have first half in caps and enemy's the second.

You could have used Ice Punch Marill for basically everything (just be careful with grass types), Earthquake Sandshrew for all those poison types (again careful with grass types), and Mareep with King's Rock Headbutt for the constant flinching in that 1st time 2nd battle.

There NEEDS to be a pokemon stadium on the Switch. The graphics still look good even for today.

What we need: a Pokemon Stadium for the switch with a new mode called "Battle Hosting." If two 3ds's are connected to the same internet as the switch and have S/M/US/UM, then when the two games battle, you can view it in glorious HD on the switch.

I just finished your first Pokemon Stadium playthrough and wow, your voice is completely different. Almost feel like I'm watching someone else do this.
Your video style reminds me of Chugga from a few years ago. I'll have to stay and watch a bit.
During the first round of battles, you should have used the Sandshrew. Ground is super effective against Poison and takes 1/2 damage from it. Plus the Sandshrew had Earthquake which would have hurt a whole bunch.

I have been waiting for Pokemon Stadium 2 since you announced that you were gonna play it, I have the first game and beated it (with your help) but I never owned the second one so I have been wanting to see how things have changed.
I thought I remembered playing this game but nothing looked familiar. All my memories came flowing back once the balls dropped. On the Pokemon select screen that is.

Monopoly Rubix I don't see that happening any time soon due to the large gap between the gen 1 and gen 2 playthroughs but it will probably happen within the next 2 years

+Scykoh 12:20 My response to your question. Rocket had all Poison types so bringing Ditto was a HUGE mistake and so was Paras because it is a GRASS TYPE, Mareep, Sandshrew and Marril was your only good team there. You should have opened with Mareep and used either Thunder or TWave, I would have tripped the PRZCure berry too, after that I would go for broke with Thunder and see where I stood after that. I don't envy your situation though in that battle, it would have been uphill the whole way.
Know what I think is weird is that hyper beam is a normal type move just make it a dragon type move because a beam that can literally obliterate a person isn’t normal

I actually went through the Pokemon Academy courses one day and learned some good things I didn't know. There's a handful of moves that will actually hit and hit hard during the invincibility turns of moves such as Fly and Dig.
Also, Pokemon Stadium (2) is generally bullshit, so don't feel too bad if it kicks your butt. This is nice though, since I've never seen anyone play through it before. Giving me that nostaliga
@ScykohPlays the Capital and Non-capital nicknames determine the coloration palette of the pokemon. You just need to do it in syllables just like there

What you could've done in the second Challenge battle... Lead with Mareep, Thunderwave twice, swap to Paras, spam Double Team and hope for the best? That's what I would do.

I'm surprised that he forgot about swift in the second try at the challenge cup. Swift should've hit even if they're underground or in the air.
Masterman no that’s not what perfect accuracy means. It just means that it’s not effected by accuracy boosts, evasion boots, lowered accuracy, and lowered evasion and has 100% base accuracyz

I just realized the Sunny Day - Solar Beam combo is kind of silly. With or without Sunny Day on the first turn, Solar Beam will hit on the second turn!

Rain Dance also has a combo with Thunder as it gives it 100% accuracy. There's a few move combos that are really useful and most of the Gen2 ones are actually explained in the Earls Academy section of the game.
