Scykoh. There is a cool glitch that you can do with a ditto and a shiny gen 1 Pokemon. If you transfer the shiny gyaradous to yellow, have ditto use transform on it, catch it,and trade the ditto to gen 2, the ditto will also become shiny
And all eggs made by that ditto and another pokemon, have a 1/64 chance to be shiny!
The funny thing about the moon ball is that according to the code, instead of working on pokemon that evolve with moon stone, it works on pokemon that evolve with a burn heal
Also if you catch a pokemon in gen 1 that has the right DVs to be shiny and you trade it to gen 2 it will be shiny

An idea for a pokemon, a fire/psychic type, which evolves into a Ghost/psychic type whenever you use a burn heal on it since the burn heal takes away the fire from it, with the fire being it's main life force, killing it. Both would have similar stats, but the Fire type would have higher speed while the Ghost type would have higher special attack.
I actually got pokerus in HeartGold naturally. I was training an eevee to evolve it into a Espeon, and I went to heal and there it was. I remember being kind of scared of it since I clicked through Nurse Joy's text so fast, I thought it was a bad thing.
Snorlax was, and still is, considered the best pokemon in gen 2 competitive battling not considering legendaries.
Interesting fact about Kurt's granddaughter: In the manga, Gold meets Kurt's granddaughter who says she wants to catch a Teddiursa with a friend ball. Kurt says it is to dangerous to go to the mountain. Gold says it's okay to go because he will be with her. On the mountain where she wants to catch the Teddiursa, Gold finds out that Silver wants to catch an Ursarang with his heavy ball. They both find what they want, but have a hard time catching them. At the end, Gold catches both with his stick thingy and gives Silver his Ursarang and Kurt's granddaughter the Teddiursa. I just like this part because I think it's sweet that Kurt's granddaughter wanted to catch the Teddiursa with a friend ball.
I remember my cousin traded his Mew with a held Master ball from Crystal to Yellow and forget it had his master ball, he thought he had lost it so when he traded it back and IT STIL HAD IT, we lost our shit from excitment

I played 200 games on every slot machine and gathered some data, but there were actually 2 machines which had higher chance for a jackpot than the other machines. The first one had a 3.7% higher chance (probably set at 4% higher but I had too little data for an exact value) and the other one had a... 8.2% higher chance. The 8% chance machine is pretty special if you're into probability and statistics...
I caught a shiny Audino on OrAs while watching this :D
Also, I think this is a very unpopular opinion, but I have always despised the Battle Tower (or Subway, Maison, whatever) with a burning passion, and I'm happy whenever there's a Pokemon game that doesn't have it.
Now, the Pokemon World Tournament...that was awesome.

Isn't that kind of a negative opinion? You as the player never have to play in the Battle facilities, so it shouldn't matter to you whether they're included in the games or not. Furthermore, there are plenty of players who do enjoy these features, so I would recommend disliking the Battle facilities, but being happy for those players that do enjoy them.
I know, and I know that there are lots of other people out there who genuinely love the battle facilities, and that's awesome! It's just that...well, I don't really enjoy difficulty as much as other people. Call me casual, whatever, but I just want to play the game, y'know? I don't want to be forced to watch myself lose when the battle isn't going well. I'd rather just turn it off, but then the game opens up and scolds you, and then I'm in a bad mood. It doesn't help that the battles are completely randomized and they have the stupid "3 Pokemon only" rule. I know I don't have to participate (and I usually don't), but then I feel like I'm missing out. If there wasn't some dumb streak system and you could just reset without being scolded when you know you're going to lose, I wouldn't mind it so much. But if I wanna get every ribbon in the game on my shiny Cresselia, I have to do it D:

Thyrus bring a Snorlax with Curse Rest Snore and Earthquake and you can have a lvl 2 rattata and lvl 2 sentret as your other two pokemon

I only used one typhlosion Lv78 and destroyed the elite 4 and lance without potions when i was 12 but the dragonites were a real pain in my ass
I've never found an unchained shiny, but I have legitimately caught pokerus!
When I saw the title I thought you were gunna fight red, (I'm only five minutes in) and its probably obvious ur gunna win . :P
If you want to beat battle tower, and get huge streaks, your ideal team would be Curse Snorlax with EQ, Toxic Skarmory with rest, and probably a good strong Special-based offensive pokemon with a typing that balances out the team well for the 3rd slot. Exeggutor with Sleep powder is a great choice, as well as Zapdos, Starmie, Raikou, Lapras, and others.
Of course, if you are playing Level 10, then you can just spam Dragon Rage Aerodactyl, Arcanine, and Lapras. A cheeky way to do it, but the wins come almost free; you get streaks in the hundreds without even trying.

Scykoh is wrong about the Twisted Spoon, you can get Twisted Spoon in Gen 2 if you catch a Kadabra, but it has less than 20% chance

I have a question about what was said at 19:45 - if you tried to evolve pokemon in this way using the Time Casule, for example if you trade a Porygon holding an Upgrade to Yellow and then back again, would the game actually let Porygon evolve? The reason I ask is because you aren't allowed to bring any Gen 2 Pokemon into the Time Capsule, but once Porygon evolves to Porygon2, it becomes a Gen 2 pokemon, so would the game prevent Porygon from evolving to prevent any potential glitches or confusion between the games?
Also, don't forget that Arthur is part Dragon, so Electrode's Thunderbolt wouldn't have been super-effective on him.

How are you going to beat Red without leveling your pokemon past what works with pokemon stadium 2? Those level 80+'s aren't any cake walk
I've heard of some real miracle runs where the highest level Pokemon used to beat Red were only 55. Then again, that's probably with a team specifically built to counter Red's iconic team, but it's still possible.
Also, IIRC, all of Red's Pokemon are 75-77, with the exception of his level 84 Pikachu.
Pikachu is apparently 81, and apparently I was just a bit off as my last run was a randomizer :P

*YO! HELLO AND WELCOME TO ANOTHER AMAZING DAY OF POKÉMON! LET'S GET THINGS STARTED!* ^_^
Today I started things off by getting into the final battle with Joey himself! XD
Surprisingly, against all odds I ever expected to happen, he started out with a Level 37 *RATICATE!* :O
#TOPPERCENTRATICATE!
However, I simply let Arthur play with this renowned rodent. ^_^
Then I went to catch a Marill and a Pikachu for special purposes! ^_^
However, while I made the effort to catch a Marill, I was feeling to lazy to catch my favorite Pokémon. -_-
#IRONY!
Then I went and played Buena's "Password" game *THIRTY TIMES* to get her phone number! XD
#TVPHONEDTHERADIOSTAR! (Yes, I know, that's not the actual line)
She told me about her lucky slot machine and about a vacation to the Lavender Town Radio Tower that she's taking soon. XD
Then I stopped by Kurt's place to learn about Apricorns and how to turn them into different types of PokéBalls. ^_^

Then I learned about the Time Capsule. XD
Then I went to Route 8 to catch a Kadabra so I could metamorphose it into an Alakazam! ^_^
Then I decided to take on the Battle Tower challenge so I went to the Elite Four to train...only to run into Pssych again! XD

Pssych started things off by sending out "his" Sneasel so I decided to let Vesta play with this purloined Pokémon! ^_^
Pssych then sent out his Golbat so I decided to let Tuix play with this flying foe! ^_^
Pssych then sent out his Magneton so I decided to let Pooh play with this multipolar menace. ^_^
Pssych then sent out his Gengar so I decided to let Pooh continue playing for now! ^_^
As a result of this battle, Pooh grew to Level 46! YAY! ^_^

My first opponent was a Guitarist named Masuda who started things off by sending out his Skarmory so I decided to let Pooh play with this flying foe! ^_^
Masuda then sent out his Snorlax so I decided to let Knox play with this sleeping simpleton! XD
Masuda then sent out his Girafarig so I decided to let Knox continue holding down the fort for now! XD
Unfortunately, I was defeated so I had to try again! -_-
This time I was challenged by a Scientist named Nickel (I wonder if he has a magnetic personality? XD) who started things off by sending out his Electrode so I decided to let Vesta try her paws on this PokéBall wannabe. XD
However, Vesta fainted so I was forced to let Arthur try his fins at things...only for the Electrode to go all kamikaze on Arthur! -_-
At least it made the Electrode faint too! XD
Nickel then sent out his Shuckle; I had no choice but to let Tuix try his wings on this defensive demon! :O
Unfortunately, Tuix also fainted so I was forced to try a *third* time!
However, that's enough for today's adventure but I'll be back next time for the final entry in my adventures here! :D
