Only time will tell, but what I hope to see of all possibilities is to see the plot revolve around Woody reuniting with the toys & for to see the gang return to Andy & be given to his kids. A prequel to tell the story of Andy’s dad would also be nice.
I think them reuniting is the way to go considering both Tim Allen, and Tom Hanks are returning - and they both went their seperate ways in Toy Story 4

seeing andy as a father and giving his child his toy would be a dope ending

I hope it could connect to wall-e in some way like maybe set decade’s in the future as the toys try to return to Andy and then showing Andy with the reunited toys entering the ship from wall-e.
Plot idea: Buzz gets Recalled, and shipped back to Taiwan ( were he came from) And destroyed rather then fixed!

I really want the 5th film to have Buzz be the other Buzz from Toy Story 2. I mean We saw Zurg was taken to the daycare center in 3 with no Buzz #2 around, and it makes you wonder what and where he was doing ever since then. And it would make sense if he became a lost toy after the second film living his own adventure. That way you'd still get Buzz Lightyear tagging along with Woody that wouldn't interfere or contradict the ending of the 4th film.

Cool idea how the toys go back to Andy but woody has a flashback of Andy's Dad and we get two stories in one. How woody deal with this change and the back story of Andy's dad.
That would be super cool
Instead of trying to have focusing an emotional ending ruining our childhoods even more, why don't we just get another lighthearted adventurous movie like The first and 2md movie
it would be interesting to see the toys get donated to some good will style place and meet all the toys in there. Plus can you imagine the heart tugs they could do with the one toy no one wants to buy, that's been left in the clearance bin for years. Andy could find his toys in there at the end and buy them for his kids or new born to come full circle like you said. We could have a simular plot to the day care one with a evil toy in the donation centre keeping the toys from getting out. We could find out the back story of Woody finally with him having flashbacks being a old family toy that could even be the heart breaking moment at the end the other toys are left there and only woody is chosen to go back becuase of him being a old family toy. Or someone buying the rest of the toys and leaving woody behind for andy to find. There is so much they could do but one way or another they are gonna absolutely hit us when it hurts on this one I can feel it
It would be pretty cool if they went down this route. I think Pixar need to be really careful with what they do with the story here, because some fans (me included) are still a little worried about them continuing the franchise, but I'm all for a good story 😊
I hope the old characters from the past four films return maybe we could get to see weezy singing you’ve got a friend in me and a redemption arc for lotso and stinky Pete and we could get to see Sid and the mutant toys help woody and the gang.
The 5th film definitely wont end with the toys getting destroyed because it could ruin a toy story fans childhood

A prequel will be the only story I would wanna see, be cool to se Toddler Andy, Pregnant Mum and the Father, maybe seeing either the nights before either a fight that made them divorce or a sickenss that will kill the father than he goes into the attic and gets his old favourite childhood toy Woody and we get flashbacks to Andy's Dad looking like what Andy looks like as we get to See Andy getting woody for the first time
It would be really interesting if they went that way to be honest.
Andy dies and he will be buried with Woody and Buzz and now Woody and Buzz are buried alive trapped underground all eternity!
Finding out toys can talk that would be Andy's Neighbour Sid he was the only Child who saw toys being alive Sid
I don't think this franchise can have an ending, you all think it does because of what you've already seen with the existing characters in the previous movies. There's a lot more stories that haven't been told, it could be a brand new ensemble of toys belonging to a kid not related to Andy or Bonnie, and they can do a new Toy Story outside of what we've seen before. It doesn't always have to be with the same characters, even though that's what we're all used to.

Al again this time he steals buzz 10 years ago al starts collecting buzz lightyear stuff and buzz find out he haves a cartoon and a gang team called buzz lightyear 7:36 woody and bo see Al steal buzz and woody and bo gets to buzz in time but buzz wants go to Tokyo Japan and movie ends with andys kids playing with bo and woody and buzz and the gang that's the plot if am made toystory 5 short woody roundup is back on TV and woody is shocked so we getting a toy story tv show

That would be a good way to introduce us to Andy's dad and how woody became like the leader of the room and also save is from a possible ruining of the series personally im scared for toy story 5, we were just lucky 3 and 4 ended off so well I'm so confused what's really left to do I just hope whatever they do dont wash out all good we've had with the entire series
