    Something to keep in mind when using the dash guage for checking for base oil pressure is that the guage operates between 5 and 7 psi. It can be misleading in some cases.

    2004 f250 6.0. Driving fine down freeway 65mph. Just stoped running. No pedal response, now it just cranks over fine and won’t start. No indication of want to start while cranking over. Batteries are full charged,Fuel level just under half tank. Put 5gal fuel, still no start.

    I’m getting a crank no start either hot or cold. It’s totally random. I already changed the pigtail and the problem persists. But if I grab the entire harness and shake it a few times it’ll finally turnover. I’m definitely checking this cage when I get back home.

      This just happen to me this morning when I was in my way to work driving fine all night then this morning no turn over hot or cold did you ever figure out what was the problem with yours ?

      @@jaynaandrade2999 I bought the $10 IPR air test tool on Amazon. Found a leak on top of 2 injectors. Tried changing the o rings but they still leaked. Replaced both injectors and new IPR valve has it running like a champ!

    Have an 05, starts perfect with the icp unplugged. Put a new oem icp and plug in, same thing. Plug it in, no start. Unplug it and it starts

    In a no start situation a way to get yourself home or limp to a safe place is unplug the sensor. The default 1300psi will allow the truck to start and run. If that’s the problem area.

    Got a 05, 6.0 crank no start intermittent. It threw the IPR code so we replaced the IPR still crank no start????

    My does it cold, pulling out of my driveway, 3 minutes on the road, going uphill, The only way it starts is if I use starting fluid. Sometimes it runs ok for days weeks.

      I'm replacing all Glow Plugs, harness and Glow plugs Relay Control Module. I got 3 differents codes which included plug 6 & 8 and 1 for the module

    Please I need your favour,I have a 2004 Ford F 350 Superduty 6.0 engine and it has just about 125,000 miles on it,I don't really drive it always most of the time it is just sitting down but I run it once in a while.Recently that I tried to run it,I discovered that the rpm does not go beyond 2200 and I have been having ths truck for about 12 years now and nothing like this has never happened,as a matter of fact I bought it from the original owner.I have the regular obd2 scanner and when I used that to check it gave me P0621 code.What does this traslate into and what is it that I have to do to get it fixed.I will appreciate response also from others that might have gotten this type of experience or people that knows what can be done to get this problem resolved.Thanks and I look forward to a helpful feedback.

      Replace both of the fuel filters and then try it. If it still has the same issue the fuel pressure needs to be checked and stay above 45 PSI under load. Also check the injector control pressure (ICP) with a scanner. Compair what the actual ICP is vs what the desired is.

    I have a f250 2005 6.0 and I can start my truck drive it but if I turn it off I can crank that sucker and nothing won't start again I have changed that ipr sensor like 3 times in a 2 year period maybe it is the connection that's not working and solve all the problem

      You have an oil leak most likely the stand pipe and dummy plug orings. There's other videos that show you how to test the oil system with air pressure to find the leak or leaks. Check out Diesel Tech Ron

    I haven't 😂able to drive my truck for over 6 months. My oil indicator doesn't rise until ive gone through 6 or so cycles and then drops down when I stop. I thought the system held pressure for a while afterwards?

      You might have a damaged low pressure oil pump

      I think this may be my issue. Scanguage says my oil pressure is at like 139 and I put a new HPOP in (I was replacing everything I could think of, got the truck for $300 and had tons of issues) and still getting 139. I was not even aware of the low pressure pump

      I don't know what you're refering to as far as a cap. If it's the cage you're talking about, then yes it needs to be on

    What was the fix, new HPOP? I have the same situation going on.. I have 150lbs of shop air in the ICP port and I hear no air leaks, none at all. Checked thru previous service records, everything else had been replaced except the HPOP. ARP head studs, new dummy plugs and standpipes.. I only see 15.6 psi on the ICP during cranking and it has to build up to that 😆 I'm thinking I need an HPOP.

      He mentioned 85%at ipr. Seems like I see in a different video it's too high and was a leak at the hpop system.

      @@jasonbrown7258 Yeah I heard you're not supposed to see 85%, (I cant recall when, or if one should ever see that). I have a new IPR on hand and intend on installing it in the new HPOP coming today. However, its a Standard brand.. I pulled the OEM IPR & its undamaged, screen looks great, no trash or debris to be found. I just have no leaks in the high pressure system. I listened with a stethoscope everywhere. Talked to Ford, they said 'no leaks? Then a new HPOP you shall install.' Will find out today.

      I have that 85 % open on the IPR when keys forward my won't crank over what seals are blown bc I just inherited this truck at power stroke aren't my thing but this truck means the world to my husband and I any help will be greatly appreciated guys ​@@jett-rampartflyer2852

      It was my high pressure oil switch, it wasn’t to hard to replace.

      Not that I'm aware of. If your engine only cranks then yes the battery light will probably be on while cranking, but I haven't paid attention to it.

    Mine sounds the exact same. Fixed ficm and now have bad coil 2 and 4. Would that make truck not go past 2000 rpm and 15mph then cut off

      Well its been over 8 months now. I've had a few so called mechanics tell me whats wrong but after it is fixed and still won't start yhey disappear.

    I have a 05 6.0 it show icp,crank,an cam sensor it was running we stop and it stall out we can’t get to start unless you spray starter fluid and it will start but will not idle it will rev any ideal

      I can't quite understand what you're saying. First off......don't use starting fluid. Get it fixed as soon as you can. If it stalls and won't restart you probably have a high pressure oil leak. You will have to use a scanner and look at 5 or 6 pids. FICM input voltage (12 VDC), FICM internal voltage (no lower than 45), FICM Sync input, ICP voltage (0.24 KOEO), Actual injection control pressure (needs 500 PSI to start), and desired injection control pressure. Any one of those missing will cause a no start. Fuel pressure at the engine needs to be checked as well.

      @@prodieselrepair3218 the fcim show 48 when I test it with multimeter. Fuel pressure is at 70psi.it show code for cam and crank sensor, and it show low icp , it just had high flow oil pump replacement, I understand don’t use starter fluid ik it really bad for a engine, but the few time we did get it started we use starter fluid it will rev up and run fine but when you take ur foot off the pedal it will die, and before it stall out it it was like we only had half of a pedal. I been thinking it was ficm since I started looking into this…could it be fcim?

    Ipr should never be at 15 or 85.

      It will default to 15 if you aren’t cranking. During cranking and running is when.

      When I crank mine my ipr shows 28.9 .my hpop is 750 .ficm is 47.5 and has sync. Crank no start.
