Turns on and off with the headlights. I just used the original door bowl lights. However, if you will tap into the door light. Don't connect too many as it will not handle the amps with to many lights.

Come on man you seem smarter than this. You have to give us an after view in the dark at night. It's cool you show us how to install stuff but we want to see what the Is final product looks like in the end. I mean These are most likely used for nighttime right so show us what they look like at night!!!!!!!

Look at time at 2:09. That is where I tapped into the existing ambient light. Hope that helps.
