How to install Interior Ambient Door Panel LED Lights

- Welcome back everyone! Today we are going to show you how to install interior ambient door panel LED lights. This is part 2 of the footwell lights in the previous video. Same Kit. I DID NOT get power source from the OEM ambient lights on the door panels. The aftermarket LED's drew too much power for the master window switch to handle. I found that out after 3 burnt out master window switches. $$$$ Instead I got the pwer source from the OEM footwell lights in front. Fast Forward to 7:08 if you will be using this method.

Screwdriver
Something long and stiff to fish the wire through the door panel
(wire hanger is good)
Install time:

Hey where did you get the door jamb lights …I need for my Jeep Wrangler?
If my doors do not have lights on them, what fuse could i use when there is no fuse box on my door? Do inhave to route it to the main fuse box in the front? Which would take more work?
Yes. You would need to run wire to your fuse box or if you have footwell lights I would tap into that directly. It would take more work.
Just plan on running the wiring. I made the mistake of trying to make it as easy as possible which made it more time consuming. Just used 18 gauge and wired my lights all the way to the back where my fuse box is. Was more wiring than i hoped but ensured i didnt draw too much power from something.
My doors is just not going to have the LED lighting because that’s is just far too much lol
