Very nice! Though I have a feeling it may sound even better when using some more composition techniques from the era.

The best part of videos that showcase David are his template organization skills. I wish Logic looked like this.

Coming from Logic, having unlimited folders is one of my favorite Cubase features.

What do you mean exactly? You can create collapsible stacks/groups/folders, color ranges, change the size of the tracks, etc etc in Logic aswell.
For example : Select the first track of your string section, hold shift, click on the last track of your string section, then right mouseclick > trackstack.
And/or do the same (selecting the tracks) , right mouselick > change track color.
Unless you refer to something else, my Logic templates look exactly like what you see in this video.

Nice piece David! The first part (up to the choir entrance) reminds me of Downton Abbey! Definitely had that “English Countryside Period Drama” feel! 😁👍

Had a nice chuckle after you pronounced Baroque. Made me think of all us composers investing in all these amazing libraries to point where we become Broke composers 🤣

Very well made library and composing… Sound is too old for my taste, but it’s very good. Would have loved to hear a Baroque style piece just to compare.

Nice, yet not convincing. Sorry. I was really about to buy it but I hear weird repetitions, unbalanced room sounds and all kind of flaws that pulled me off the first impulse to buy it.
The demo was quite nice I've to say. But all the other compositions were not so great.
One thing that struck me with your composition was the development of the melody (which is really poor and thus underdeveloped) I do not mean to sound harsh but as (one of the many) a trained music composer we all learned with our basic training how to write in that particular time idiom; in this case from the early baroque period to almost Bach's death (because ensembles grew and the demands from the clients were also on the rise).
All in all your composition may not be the best example to showcase here in depth. Once again sorry for my rudeness... don't take it personal.
A tip for the development of a melody repeat the rhythm/melodic phrase no more than two times! The third time you really have to vary the melody. This comes with a lot of other harmonic challenges but after some practice you will end up with a way better result.
Speaking of harmony, there are certain rules on how to write for these historic instruments to make the ensemble sound really authentic (the way we actually like to hear it)
You CAN do it differently, as many composer in that time did too, but you have to take into account that you keep everything within some reasonable harmonic boundaries. Otherwise it clearly doesn't sound good.
