Great for OT is you actually can! You can get individual instruments. Of course the whole instrument is the best deal but only going for the choir you still should save a lot.
Have you ever considered translating to virtual instruments the baroque guitar, old spanish vihuela, theorbo, baroque harp, clavichord, and some of the percussion like tamboriles among others? Or even like solo versions of the baroque string sections present here. I think there’s definitely lots still to explore with baroque instruments still despite the huge range already achieved thus far.
I think I found a new favorite library. I'm actually serious. The choirs alone are an unbelievable tool. I wish the woodwind legatos were a touch more agile, but they sound great in mid-to-slow tempo passages. I also wish there was some percussion. The baroque timpani in Berlin Percussion is way more suited to this library than that one. But those are just nitpicks. What an achievement!
Thank you for your question - most of the individual instruments come with legatos, but for specific styles-your best bet would be to get in touch with our support team (support@orchestraltools.com), they'll be able to provide specific details.
In the video, some instruments from the Berlin Series are powered by the SINE Player (Violins II and Oboe I) Does it mean that the Berlin Orchestra is going to be released soon? I hope so. It would be great.
The oboe is probably from Berlin Woodwinds Soloists I which is already on Sine and the violins could be from Berlin Symphonic Strings. They said in an announcement that they would convert the entire Berlin Series for Sine over the next couple of months/years?. So far they did 5 libraries. First chairs, special bows I and II, and woodwind soloists I and II.
@@edwardsmusic Yes, but in the Berlin Woodwinds Soloists I library, the oboe is called "Solo Oboe". In this video, the oboe is called "Oboe 1". And the narrator says that Oboe 1 and Baroque Oboe are recorded in the same space (Teldex). So, it could be Berlin Woodwinds.
@@daviddln1987 You're right, I didn't look at the names when I first watched it and couldn't find the section again when I saw your comment. I guess we're getting more exciting updates soon
So I’m still confused. I know there are quite a few built in vocables (syllables) for the choirs but the walkthrough shows nothing about how to chose each one.
@@DJKLProductions Actually there is. The support team told me the various syllables are assigned to round robins, and they can be selected or deselected as desired.
@@DJKLProductions Bummer-but having some choice is better than nothing. Why in the world would they have the choir sing various syllables and not make them all Individually selectable- other choirs do??
Not to be a jerk, but could Orchestral Tools PLEASE level their narrators vocal to the instruments? I've tried on my TV, My laptop, and through headphones, and either I cannot hear the speaker, or I raise the level to hear him and prepare to either blow out my ears in headphones or speakers. Considering our shared craft, I place preservation of my ears as an extraordinarily high priority.
Orchestral Tools is the king of Sampling String instruments. The amount of realism in samples is just phenomenal.
i need this for my build
Outstanding. I'd get it ever just for the choir. Truly inspiring.

@@michalgorolchilli4293 I bought the whole thing days ago during the launch promo, and love it. Already started writing a couple of pieces.

So far one of the best traditional instrument libraries I've heard.
Ironically, these samples sound the most realistic for any era and genre, out of all the other videos on youtube.
Thank you for the lovely feedback!
Absolutely amazing! I use all your products and I highly recommend them to everyone.
This sounds like a really decent library! I love the choir sound, might get that one
Gorgeous. This library really speaks to my soul. Buying it in a moment
Cool library. Choir sounds absolutely fantastic.
Orchestral Tools is definitly my favorite Orchestral sampling Company , one day i will own every of you products ( even the niche one ) Love you guys

Ooh! Makes me want to write the 7th Brandenburg Concerto (with voices too!) 🤣
Baroque instruments...but no harpsichord? 😳
Great work though, a wonderful sound !
Seems as if they paid attention!
Those Spot mics are off the chain!
I feel like I'm listening to the Chicago Symphony Orchestra at Ravinia Festival!
Please have AAX compatibility soon 🥺
You guys sure enjoy making me broke don't you? :(
16:51 I don't see that full mixer. Where can I find this? (I have one instance open within Propellerheads Reason as a VST)
Hi Arnold - our support team (support@orchestraltools.com) would be happy to help with any technical questions you have!
I do love barroque music and you product sounds wunderbach.
But why an E in Miroir?
Really good question. #orchestraltools? Can you please answer this question?
