I am planning on trading my 2023 colorado trail boss in on a zr2 or a canyon At4X with the 500.00 upgraded boss stereo system. Have found couple locally in East Tennessee in this pretty silver metallic of in harvest bronze metallic colors. But I have also found a 2023 canyon AT4X over in western nc that comes with front winch and front bumper guard for 63 grand. I am very tempted to go buy it. Could spend another 1300.00 to get bigger size 295/75R17 tires.
I ordered the exact same spec only mine is in glacier blue. Ordered it in April and it was only built this week so maybe they’ll call me soon. Gives me hope to see one that isn’t a press vehicle
Best looking truck out there. Any problems with the infotainment system after OTA updates? Lots of owners reporting dead batteries and other issues. It's a lot of money to be driving around in a loaner while GM figures out solutions.

Theirs a guy up here on TH-cam that swapped out his 3.6 for a 5.3 in his second gen Colorado, said he was actually getting better fuel mileage with the V8. That four cylinder is to small for a truck this size and will have to work harder for day to day use, four cylinders belong in compact economy cars not trucks.
I have the 23 canyon AT4 and the 4 cylinder moves this truck around with ease. I do understand why you would think that way if you haven't had a chance to drive one yet though.
I'm at 2500 miles. It's Been great! Amazing off road, it gets pretty good MPG on the highway 20 - 21. 15-18mpg around the city depending how I'm driving. Super comfortable, love all the tech especially the remote start that starts the AC, and having Google maps on the gauge cluster. Wish some of the material were a little bit more "higher quality" and that they took more time during the QA because I've found 2 things that have needed re-fitting. Oh and I wish there was better under the seat storage Do you have any specific questions?
can't believe they messed up the back seat... on the models before we had the fold down back seats and that was great for using the shelf for items you didn't want in the back bed... terrible idea chevy terrible idea

Did you get the ZR2 "because it has lockers" or did you get the ZR2 because you NEED lockers? There is a difference lol. Most ZR2s never leave the pavement, other than driveways
Rear lockers yes, definitely need rear lockers if you plan on climbing anything steep, or going over very un-even terrain. Front lockers are just peace of mind you can get over a obstacle if needed. There are some good videos on the how front and rear lockers function the same but are used in different applications. But yes one of the major reason i got the ZR2 is because the lockers - wise acent offroad saying - "it's ways better to have them and not need to use them than not have them at all."1

I know a guy that purchased the ZR2 "because it has lockers", but he doesn't use it offroad because "it is too expensive" and thought diff lockers were for slippery roads 😂. I took 2 offroad driving training schools in Australia while there on a scholarship. One was mandatory for an overland trip with pros lol. So I know when to engage either locker. The training was in older, heavier Land Cruisers, with 2 solid axles that both locked. Second training was in a modern 100 Series and a 200 Series, post Covid

I'd actually wager it would beat a tuned 3.6. Have you driven the 2.7 turbo yet? They're actually quick. I've already smoked a tuned tacoma... I know that's not saying much. Haha
My 2023 colorado trail boss will flat out roll quickly down the interstate. Quickly it will get up to 90 mph in a hurry. The gas mileage goes down just as quickly as the turbo sucks the fuel up quickly. Going to be trading my colorado trail boss in soon on a 2024 zr2 or a canyon At4x. I really like the interior better on the canyon models. Just cannot bring myself to buy the canyon AT4X AEV or the colorado zr2 bison models. Just refuse to pay 11 to 12 grand more for the zr2 bison pay 9 to 10 grand more for the canyon aT4X AVE model truck.
I just cant understand why people are paying this much for midsized trucks. 4 grand put into my 2018 Frontier 4x4 and shes a beast!! She doesnt have all this useless tech....

Looks like you have a similar gap issue just below the passenger headlight. Mine is missing a plastic piece also, GM has such poor QC.

You needed to put a cc on file for the additional 2 months. That's what I had to do this past week.

How does it drive?
Surprisingly well. Handles great both on and off road. Acceleration is top notch too. Turn radius is really good.
Why not go for a Silverado zr2
Cost and they're too big for the trails. Really all full sized trucks are.
