Just shows how good these VF HSV's are built.... stock transmission, stock diff, stock driveline, never even snapped a CV shaft and run multiple mid 9's.... never seen ANY ford/fpv run same time with out built trans, built driveline, motor etc.

My wife's 09 Pontiac g8 gxp first car I ever financed in 2013 has went from stock with 17×5 and 17×10 black weld RTS's with toyo 888 radials to full bolt on and started getting serious at the end of 2017 it got a LSA blower a btr stage2 blower cam head studs, nice injectors and everything to do the swap the right way I didn't cut any corners,swapped it over to e85 with dual Holley brushless 450's. And with cheap pacesetter long tube headers no cats because no emissions in Alabama and custom 3" stainless steel exhaust and some old flow master super 44's I had laying around it actually sounded pretty good had that old flow master sound every body had in the early 2000's when I was 12 or 13yo anyways it made 610whp 597ft pounds boost only and 692whp 695ft pounds on a 75 shot just a simple wet kit with a fogger nozzle in front of the TB it went a best of 6.42 @ 103mph after being daily driven for 3 months and 40 or 50 1/8 pass's it broke a rod and put a window in the block while I was gapping my buddy's boss 302 stang with a Paxton blower with the whole family wife and my lil boy and girl after dinner at applebees Dad of the year right?! LoL Then my wife decided she wanted to go faster and she agreed to chip in on the build it was on I bought a darton sleeved ls3 418ci Long block with 1/2 head studs from Texas speed with bad ass PRC 260CC CNC'ed heads I had my engine builder tear it down check all the tolerances and machine work and put it all back together bigger custom gring blower cam from BTR reused everything I could from the old setup new 210 FIC injectors and had JOKERZ chaos port job on the lsa blower 102 Tb 2.5 upper and 9.6 lower new stainless works 2" primary headers with the old 3" exhaust except I swapped in my favorite mufflers 2 8" dynomax bullets about where the cats should be and 2 16 inch bullets where the flows where at and some 4 1/2" tips it is LOUD sounds amazing but loud lol its louder than my little single turbo z28. Still running the stock trans at the moment with a 10" billet ptc converter it's all together and running with a baby soft safe tune but we are still changing stuff up like the water to air setup in the process of putting the 10 gallon tank in the trunk and lines bigger heat exchanger and radiator setup the trans cooler is done, at the moment I'm running the stock radiator and no heat exchanger just circulating water and ice like my race car at the moment HOPEFULLY in a few months it will be sorted out and get it on the dyno get any bugs worked out and see how much boost and power it makes then go to the track we have a 15" wheel swap kit from Carlyle racing that's going before we run it I got a set of Hoosier 275/50/15's on some black ssr jegs wheels it's hard to work on two cars and try to race every weekend with mine. Sorry for the story sittin hear board at work I better go do something lol

I believe the Grange is the flagship model from HSV, seen plenty of E3's with Walkinshaws supercharger setups from new. :) Not sure of the numbers, but on the guards they had a small supercharged chrome badging. :)

Yep all he4 needs now is get the supercharger cooling kit, interchiller put on and then there's a extra 50KW at the rear wheels as well, especially during the summer months, all day every day the air is around 2 to 4 degrees C going into the chambers even if its 40 degrees outside, which is the only aspect which effects the supercharger is real hot weather and very humid weather ? Well done always wanted a GTS, but was looking at a senator 340 SV, but just did not have the CASH thats all, still my 15 redline is just as good for my type of driving. :) I wonder if the torque vectoring is disabled in any way, otherwise those rear wheels would light up like no tomorrow, just asking ?

Not really, these are actually very cheap to modify... this one is costly because he is trying to run faster and faster than a mid 9 on the STOCK BLOWER... he could easily slap a 2.6ltr blower on there and run 8's.... go get a F6 and run mid 9's on the stock turbo... impossible... same principle.
LSA711 lol don’t make me laugh. His spend 5-10k in porting on his supercharger. Gtx3582r on a f6 will run a 9 easy lol and that turbo is 3.3k bolt on. Also the whole car itself is over 100k Xr6t new was 45k f6 69k, 10k mods runs low 10’s and a little more it runs 9’s. LSA is nice but expensive and still slow about 10k in porting and plus a fully built built engine. Xr6t motor just needs valve springs and have run 8’s for cheap. Also 1.1k port on a stock f6 runs 700kw. Bro, get off the crack

NOW this is how to build a HSV GTS, to have nothing go wrong with Transmission which i gues is a 6L90E and the Stock HSV diff center, sure a few mods here and there, like the engine to run E85 and smaller tyres on the back, but what a beast and have around 100K on the clock, i have a question but, those wilwood rear brakes and disc's does the ABS have to be changed to have the rear brakes different to the stock ones, mainly due to any sensors on the brakes thats all, like the TPS, does it still have the TPS for the rear tyres and is there any Calipers which has the sensors for the PAD's and Electronic side of things to put on say brembo;'s etc. :) This is a beast of a HSV GTS well done and keep it up buddy. :)
I'd be going a better lsd such as truetrac or wavetrac for the next gains a long with trans, gearing and shifting upgrades. Th400, maybe 4.11 gear but as a daily that's not great and gts already has 3.73

Degrading the brakes is stupid. You don't spend all your life on the drag strip. Not being able to stop day to day is no comment. There's a reason supercars prioritize braking.
@@fullboost this is true but firmly commits the vehicle to be a drag car only despite the magnetic dampers etc. From an insurance point of view, is it even legal to derate your brakes from OEM? The first thing I upgraded after power on my FGX XR8 was brakes because frankly the stock brakes are a joke. A lot of poo comes out when hitting the anchors past 180kmhr because nothing happens. (Hence my initial comment). Anyone have any experience with the 8/4 setup from XYZ for Falcons? The 6/4 from Brembo are "ok" but still don't inspire confidence with 600+whp

Blower speed generally determines how loud it is.

Well at that boost and pulleys it must be up around 18000rpm at a guess.

It has an interchiller already. The charger is maxed at this point.

Stock engines typically refer a standard bottom end (crank, rods, pistons), it doesn't include modifications to intake or exhaust.

Degrading the brakes is stupid. You don't spend all your life on the drag strip. Not being able to stop day to day is no comment. There's a reason supercars prioritize braking.
That's the price you pay to go faster.
@@fullboost this is true but firmly commits the vehicle to be a drag car only despite the magnetic dampers etc. From an insurance point of view, is it even legal to derate your brakes from OEM?
The first thing I upgraded after power on my FGX XR8 was brakes because frankly the stock brakes are a joke. A lot of poo comes out when hitting the anchors past 180kmhr because nothing happens. (Hence my initial comment).

Here in Australia we use Kilowatts for power not HP we are not american.
