@@knightr7 No, I only used Spiced Rum. I followed this recipe exactly but I used 60ml of golden spiced rum. The recipe says you can use Bourbon or Rum or Whiskey etc NOT 60ml of each. If you wanted to use 2 different spirits say Bourbon and Rum then use 30ml of each. Enjoy

Fresh grated nutmeg in the nog as well as for a garnish is an absolute game changer. Compared to bought spice shaker stuff, it's like a completely different ingredient.
Absolutely. Buy just a couple and try it out. Afterward, bulk buying for a business or share it with others is worth it. Whole nutmeg lasts 3-4 years vs. ground 1-2 and doesn't have to be just a seasonal thing.
I've made my first eggnog today using this video! Planned to do it last year, but unfortunately an unforeseen event changed my Christmas plans altogether. I'm really enjoying it! It's rather thick, drinks like a milkshake. I might try adding more milk next time but only for experimental purposes as I actually like how it drinks like a milkshake. Still, it's in my nature to experiment, and I've got a couple more days until I have guests over that I want to serve the perfect drink. Thanks for the video and Merry Christmas!
