- Hi guys it's your favourite Aunty, here to share another holiday drink recipe.Enjoy this delious Eggnog recipe with friends and family. The eggs are not raw so relax, try it and enjoy. All you need are
Egg yolks
1cup white sugar
1 1/2 cups whole milk
1/2 cup Half and Half
1 cup Heavy creamy
1 tsp Nutmeg
1 tsp Cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp salt
Add liquor to your desired taste...
This is a great drink. Try it and let me know how it was for you. Please remember to whisk continuously to prevent eggs from curdling. Final temp for eggnog mixture should be 160 degrees fahrenhite. It's important to let mixutre cool for at least 2 hours before serving and adding liquor.

Wow… I love nonalcoholic eggnog I usually buy jack Daniel’s vanilla spice eggnog. But learning make home made means I can have it whenever I like. I hope mine comes out as good & thick as yours

My mom is A1 lactose intolerant and has not had eggnog for a few years. We have tried many faux milk commercial eggnogs. They just don’t cut it. They only brand we enjoyed was thick. But, this year it seems they changed their recipe. It just is not as satisfying as previous years. So, I was committed to finding a recipe that yields the thick, creamy, sumptuous eggnog we crave and that my Mom could enjoy. I used organic A2 dairy to make your recipe. It is absolutely delicious. The recipe is easy and satisfying. It is my intention to never buy commercial eggnog, again!

I have seen a lactose free eggnog in the supermarket, (western Washington), and it was good, but I think it had corn syrup in it. Corn syrup is addicting as far as I'm concerned. Anyway, yours looked much better. ❣️
My husband and I have been saying this also. The eggnog has changed over the years, it tastes like melted ice cream, I miss that thickness it used to have. I am so grateful to Auntie J for giving us this recipe, yessss LORD!!!

This looks like the Eggnog I have been buying from a dairy near where I use to work. Retired now and still go there to get my Eggnog. It's rich and creamy and thick just like yours. My grandmother made eggnog very similar and we drank it as a hot beverage only. Sometimes my grandmother would make a meringue to top it off. Yummy!

That's because it has about twice the sugar and about 25% less milk than most recipes. I'm definitely going to try this!
Southern comfort brand has one thicker than this. I love the thickness
@@francillefowell6790I didn’t like the taste of Southern Comfort eggnog. Homemade is always the best because you can add or substitute the ingredients to your liking. 😊
My husband said that too when I made mines he so used to store brought eggnog, most people don’t make their own eggnog.
Also, she used eight egg yolks in the beginning. Usually, the recipe calls for six.
