I bought them like 2 months ago, I go Jim 6 days a week, loved this earbuds for a while, they had insane quality, they were loud af, deep bass, transparency mode and Anc were my favorite features, but they started giving me problems like 2 weeks ago, they sound super quiet now, anc doesnt work, and my left earbud barely sounds, idk what happened, but Im dissapointed. Looking for another pair or brand maybe? 🤷 anyways Im just going to stick with my defective earbuds while the throw the next generation or I will just but another pair but not now, I paid $258 for them.
I just got this. The noise canceling sucks😂 When I switch on anti-wind it stops the wind noises but I hear traffic. When I switch on active canceling the sound of traffic stops but the wind sound is unbearable…
How well do these work with an iPhone? I'm looking for earbuds but don't want to get Air Pods because they're just so common! Everyone seems to have them
I hope these last longer than the 1's and 2's. The left bud stopped working after about a year on the 1st gen. Sennheiser replaced them with 2nd gen. Left earbud stopped working after 6 months on new pair of 2nd gen. Sent in for repair. 'Repaired' left bud stopped working after 3 months. This was now past 2 year original warranty, so Sennheiser would do nothing for buds less than a year old.
how is the ANC and transparency compared to Sony XM4? sound wise I'm expecting similar because Sony already known for good sound but if I'm considering these, its about the comfort because of the smaller size and as long as the features are equally as good
Thank you for this amazing content! I want to ask a suggestion. As a Mac,ipad, iPhone user Should I buy AirPods Pro or Momentum 3 ? Sound quality and ANC are important for me. Thanks for your answer.
get the akg n400, it has anc and in terms of sound quality, it blows both the airpod pros and momentum 3s out of the water. they are also cheaper on sale around 48 usd, retail for about 150 usd. you should watch crinnacles reviews of the best true wireless earbuds for an informed decision. he’s also done a review on the moment true wireless 3s.
@Roberto Vidal Garcia yeah this is exactly I want thought before order but my priority is sound quality. Let’s see what sennheiser did for us 😇 To be honest I’m confused between cx plus(89 euro) and momentum tws 3(245 euro). I’m student and sennheiser does great student discount so momentum is almost 3 times more expensive than cx plus. Important point is for me is best value. If there was no great sound quality difference, there is no point to pay 3 times more. I hope sound quality will be at least double between these two models.
@Roberto Vidal Garcia noise canceling will be better than cx plus but already cx plus anc work quit good. Priority should be sound in first look in my opinion.
As a TWS1 and TWS2 user I was so excited for them to come and I'm really dissapointed...they look cheaper than the B&O EQ's and even cheaper than the TWS2/1...The sound Quality is the most important thought so I watched the Flossy Carter review of those and the B&O Eq are still at the 1st place...
hello, does it have white color and the problems mentioned in the user comments in tru wriles 2, do you think some problems such as not clear phone calls and full noise canceling have been solved in 3 generations, and frankly, I was expecting three, but should I choose it?

I'm considering these and the B&O ex. I like how these are compact and don't have a stems of the B&O, But it looks like multipoint is not yet available for these. I definitely need multipoint.
True wireless earbuds are all about the convenience factor. For that you actually need a small case that can fit in any pocket size. Not sure that is the case with the TW3.
The slightly larger mtw2 fit perfectly in my pockets and my friends Jean pockets incredibly comfortably (especially because they're soft touch), what sort of tiny pockets do people have out here?
@@Samsonfs Not everyone wants a bulge in their pocket or have it totally used up by the case. Airpods fit in the small pocket for keys etc, leaving the other pockets free.
The Sony XM4s? I have a pair and after one year and a half the left bud is starting to give out. It loses battery after only an hour of being fully charged. Bummer. Now I’m looking for a new pair to try and am eyeing these. Are they worth the price tag?
I was waiting on these until I bought my beats fit pro for $50. Was way too good of a deal to pass. Saw them for $130 open box at best best then the price went down to $99 and I also used a $50 rewards certificate = $50

im absolutely in love with them bbtw. The sound is incredible, the see through is really nice and apparently im still easily understandable while riding a bike ( im in the Netherlands , so i do lots of stuff on bicycle)

Not a fan of the new design it might grow on me too basic the old ones looked better with the metallic finish hope i get better battery life out of these since with mtw2 i only got about 4 to 4 1/2 out of them way lower than the advertised 7hrs

Hey guys, I purchased Sennheiser 3 earbuds, after a ton of researching, but apparently I had a non-realistic expectation for the power of the music I can get from a small earbuds. Yes, the quality of the sound was great, but the power, bass and overall volume was not enough for my taste. So, my question to all of you is, are there wireless headphones or earbuds on the market that can produce really would and clear sound and make you feel like you are in a club (I mean really loud and clear)?
The best bass that really truly booms will be the skullcandy crusher wireless headphones. They have haptics in the cups so the bass actually vibrates and they are almost like having 2 12 inch kicker subwoofers in your car truck. They can be too much bass for some but have a slider on the left cup to turn the bass up or down. I have not gone without a pair of these headphones since the first time I tried a pair 3 or so years ago. The rest of the sound field is ok but not the are not going to wow an audiophile. But us Norman fills they are amazing for every type of music I've listened to them with. From 2 pac and rap/ hip hop to progressive metal like tesseract or tool.
My favorite pair of earbuds I've owned yet and still have and use are the jabra 75ts. The bass is ridiculous and I think the sound quality is awesome. Plus, they're older so they'll be cheap.
Probably not, the XM4 have better ANC, battery life, and features, you might feel like you lost a bit of those if you upgrade. The XM4 are still pretty new also, so you might want to wait a little while longer before upgrading. 🙂
almost in the same boat. My XM4s are my Airpod Pro backups and nothing touches Pros ANC and Transparency but for sound Sony is better. But for comfort I'm interested in the Senheisers because with how big the Sonys are you can feel some ear soreness as it comes down to the fit
i prefer the design and look of the mtw 2s earbuds ...they did get most things right all I was looking forward to was just a shrunk down case size close to Jabras offerings or airpods pro ...but I don't see much difference ...
The old design is too big imo, and for most male it is to big ,let alone for woman to buy it, and they probably cannot stay with the older design and shrinking it, due to packaging issue
@@ezrapardede1921 i do see ur point the design is sleeker in my opinion but I do understand that they make not be able to shrink it and maintain same aesthetic ... But i was really looking for a smaller case this still looks a little chunky imo ..making consider the technics

Carnoy suffers greatly from the malady known as Valley Girl Talk. VGT came into being in the 80’s and is now unfortunately part of the national landscape, especially among Millennials. What is VGT? Raising the pitch of the last word in a sentence, as if one were asking a question instead of making a simple declarative statement. This type of speech started in California in the 80’s among young people, especially young women and diffident young men, and quickly became known as Valley Girl Talk. It is the result of self-doubt, both national and individual. It swept like wildfire across the land, until even professional broadcasters were talking like Valley Girls, unconsciously. It stems from a fear of offending the ‘group,’ and of being censored by the ‘group’ for daring to have an opinion, of not wanting to offend others. It is Fear speech, born of tumultuous times.
The price seems pretty great. I'm still sticking to my Sony WF-1000XM3's though, I don't think the sound quality of anything released afterwards has been a significant enough upgrade. I do think that in terms of sound quality, it's probably best to go for the Sony XM4's over this if you can spare the extra cash. And only for 1 reason... the software. It's pretty crappy compared to Sony having a lot of options and customizability.
@@ezrapardede1921 Barebones and simplistic is what you use for the first iteration. It's been years and it's hardly any better. There's no excuse for it still being as bad as it is after years of having actual consumer feedback.
Yeah, as most reviews, they are always super good. Bought the MTW 2 and it didn't sound thaaat great. Airpods Pro and Galaxy Buds have more natural sound and blow it out of the water in terms of accuracy, completely different experience in comparison with their headphones.
There is a gap between the YT Reviewers and the Reviews from Specialists for IEM and Headphones. TH-camrs review them as beautiful and the Specialists like Crinacle say they are overpriced and have less Quality than the Samsung Buds.
@@fethryduck I have both, and I stand by crinacle’s analysis. Problem with the buds pro imho is the fit. It keeps falling easily from my ears. The MTW 2 sound is sadly average at best, it doesn’t justify its price tag.
Bought a pair of these in June of 2023. It’s now September of 2023. A few weeks ago they started losing their charge when I put them in the charging base. Ironic, right? They’re now completely dead and totally unresponsive. I have bought many Sennheiser products in the past, but never again. These were a total waste of $300. Very sad considering the price.
I can say that aside from the sound, these buds have no pros. First of all, it took me a few months to get them to work with my Pixel 7 phone proprerly: there was always a problem that when connected I couldn't use them as a headset. Then it was fixed by updates. But another problems started 4-5 months after purchase: Poor contact between the buds and the ports in the case. Everything was charging fine up until now, but then you put the headphones on charging, the case lights up immediately yellow and then immediately green. You take the buds out and find out that the right bud is not charged. It is necessary to clean all the contacts, and only then it works. Cleaning with alcohol should be done almost every 2-3 weeks of daily use. And even in this case it happened that after charging the right bud was discharged. After 10 months of use torn one earpad, but it's nothing. The most shameful thing is that the caps/membranes of the buds, were attached with glue (!!!) all around the earpiece diameter (!!!!!). How for 220 euros (May 2023) can this be done? Noise cancellation is practically a bit above zero. I have nothing to compare with, of course. But in the subway the difference is minimal between noise cancellation on and off. In short, if you don't want to be disappointed, avoid this model. Nothing against the brand. I've owned wired headphones from Sennheiser for about 15 years. No complaints. They sound great. And they still work, by the way.
You have no idea how TWS earbuds work then, do you? Because alongside drivers, they also need a battery and components for the smart electronics. If you want to have smaller earbuds, go with wired ones.

Can MTW3 be used in gym everyday? Are they comfortable? Will they stay intact or fall off occasionally? I am really thinking of buying a premium pair for gym. Lemme know your thoughts.... TIA!
Exactly
:)i know this is kinda off topic but the tech journalist reviewing the earbuds always wears some sharp looking shirts. Mind sharing brand :)
I agree
To be honest, I prefer the 2nd gen design because those silver shiny metal logo plates just make the earbuds look more appealing
Loved my mtw2 but the left headphone stopped working and the battery drain was horrible. Hoping these are better cause u live the sound and comfort
I love Sennheiser I just can’t decide if I should get these or the standard AirPod pro 2’s
so please can you tell us which is more comfort is this sennheriser momentum 3 or the airpods pro thank you
Good reviewer, really informative and well produced. Good tips on how to customize and really good job on show real life testing.
Get a room!
he didnt even respond the title or compare it to the previous gen
I will keep my beats fit pro ...Sony wf 1000s...Air pods Pro... Samsung earbuds Pro..and plus I will keep these when I buy them
What do you think of Beats Fit Pro compared to Momenum 3?
Were you testing with LDAC 990kbps on the WF1000XM4?
How well do these work with an iPhone? I'm looking for earbuds but don't want to get Air Pods because they're just so common! Everyone seems to have them
I hope these last longer than the 1's and 2's. The left bud stopped working after about a year on the 1st gen. Sennheiser replaced them with 2nd gen. Left earbud stopped working after 6 months on new pair of 2nd gen. Sent in for repair. 'Repaired' left bud stopped working after 3 months. This was now past 2 year original warranty, so Sennheiser would do nothing for buds less than a year old.
The three's are definitely the least reliable and lasting earbuds of their series. Fantastic sound but unreliable
how is the ANC and transparency compared to Sony XM4? sound wise I'm expecting similar because Sony already known for good sound but if I'm considering these, its about the comfort because of the smaller size and as long as the features are equally as good
Thank you for this amazing content!
@@sanitygone-l9y thanks for this man I’ll check it out. I’ll try to see options from akg side. 🙋🏻♂️
@Roberto Vidal Garcia Thanks for advice. Couple of hours before I ordered mometum tws 3. I hope it will impress me :)
I'm not spending $400 on a pair of earbuds
how does the sound quality compare to B&O EQ?
are any of the eartips compatible with a 3rd party eartip manufacturers? i'm looking more towards the memory foam eartips like Comply...
How about compare with sony kink buds
hello, does it have white color and the problems mentioned in the user comments in tru wriles 2, do you think some problems such as not clear phone calls and full noise canceling have been solved in 3 generations, and frankly, I was expecting three, but should I choose it?
Which are the Best Truly Wireless Earbuds sound wise only of these listed below ⬇️ ?
I already have both BEOPLAYS (EQ and EX) but I want another pair of truly wireless earbuds for my everyday out and about on the go errands that sound just as good 👍🏾?
1)Bowers and Wilkins P.I. 7
2)Technics A-60
3)Masters and Dynamics MW08
4)Sennheisser TW3
Just picked these up, really happy with them the audio quality is amazing
Is your mtw3 still working good because I want to buy one but I'm bet worried due to the negative comments on the video
I like the huge big case ...they make me look big
The slightly larger mtw2 fit perfectly in my pockets and my friends Jean pockets incredibly comfortably (especially because they're soft touch), what sort of tiny pockets do people have out here?
@@Samsonfs Not everyone wants a bulge in their pocket or have it totally used up by the case. Airpods fit in the small pocket for keys etc, leaving the other pockets free.
@@TheEchelon use airpods then lol, I would say this case fills up like at most 50% of any given pocket and easily fits in the same one as my phone
Can these earpods be charged on a pad like my iphone11 without having to use the wired case?
These are amazing and are the perfect complement to my xm4's.
The Sony XM4s? I have a pair and after one year and a half the left bud is starting to give out. It loses battery after only an hour of being fully charged. Bummer. Now I’m looking for a new pair to try and am eyeing these. Are they worth the price tag?
I haven't seen a comparison of this to the Marshall Motif II ANC.
That slow top angle shot from 0:15 to 0:20 was a thing of beauty and i feasted my eyes with it.
amazing how sub $100 earbuds have managed to provide IPX6-IPX7 rating with ANC while "premium" $300 earbuds still havent figured that out.
@Roberto Vidal Garcia that was my intial guess too but the new samsung buds have excellent ANC while also providing IPX7 ratings.
@Roberto Vidal Garcia you might be right. i stand corrected
Have they included a mute function on the headsets yet?
Question? One thing I love on my Jabras they can connect two two things even my Sonys want. Will these?
Sennheiser claims that eventually they will get multipoint Bluetooth pairing with a firmware upgrade.
I was waiting on these until I bought my beats fit pro for $50. Was way too good of a deal to pass. Saw them for $130 open box at best best then the price went down to $99 and I also used a $50 rewards certificate = $50
You like your Beats Fit Pro? I am debating between momentum TW 3 vs Beats Fit pro
@@pubsnumber1 get the liberty 3 pro instead
Do you like the Beats Fit Pro? Thinking of those or Momentum 3.
I have used this for 10 months. One of the most important features i want it doesn't has. One bud can't activate transparency mode. I used to put one bud for phone calls while i doing my works. Do you have any idea about this issue?
How do these compare to cheaper options like the galaxy buds pro (which i think sound phenomenal)? Would they be materially better?
The buds pro fall out of the ears very easily. The momentum true wireless 2 have a lot better sound quality so the 3s will be even better.
I have buds pro.u know what I had to exchange it with my mom for her galaxy buds plus cause of IMMENSE EARACHE AFTER 10 MINUTES OF USE ( buds pro)
is a comparison to the kef mu 3 possible?
The fuxk did this guy become super good at reviewing TWS for real! 🔥🔥🔥
So overall how would you rate these on work outs?
Not bad at workouts but at PF they have huge fans and you can hear them through the earbuds.
MTW3 coming my way.
Excellent video s🙏
I just ordered these.
They are still 227 euro's here in the Netherlands though.
im absolutely in love with them bbtw. The sound is incredible, the see through is really nice and apparently im still easily understandable while riding a bike ( im in the Netherlands , so i do lots of stuff on bicycle)
how the touch control can u skip song or volume up or down?????
i really dont get the anc. my first gen galaxy buds isolated me better than this with anc on because its microphone are always on, even with transparency mode off
does anyone know if the these can be used when they are not in the ear?
Not a fan of the new design it might grow on me too basic the old ones looked better with the metallic finish hope i get better battery life out of these since with mtw2 i only got about 4 to 4 1/2 out of them way lower than the advertised 7hrs
I got the MTW2 a few weeks ago. If you turn off Noise cancelation it goes a little further. I am going to be returning the MTW2. Not because I don't like them but for $50 I would rather have the newer ones.
Can I use the left and right earbuds one at a time? like airpods? Or just the main earbud?
In Second version I can use only right earbud and it sucks
Yes says it at 3:30
Please review of differ between cx plus with momementum 3
the mtw 2 had an annoying white noise that was very audible during quiet songs, was the white noise eliminated in the mtw 3?
Did you ever figure this out? Thinking Beats Fit Pro or Momentum 3.
@@colt5189 thankfully no white noise with the mtw3, they're amazing
Hello, my friend, I have a MOMENTUM True Wireless 3 headset. My problem is that I cannot use aptx, only SBC AAC. Note that my device supports Bluetooth 5.0 codec, but it has aptx technology, and I cannot use it. Is the solution to replace the device with another device that supports 5.2 codec, or something related to the application that I do not know? How can I use this technology? Please please tell me
Have Sennheiser momentum tws2 and they are unbelievable and I think I will change to tws 3...
the akg n400s or the sound liberty pros completely blow the tws 3 out of the water
seems quite unreliable accordng to Amazon 1* reviews?
thank you very much)bought them 2 days ago!great choice
Don't you just love it when companies decide to make the safe choice of providing marginal improvements over already existing products instead of innovating with new features?! It's awesome, isn't it?! 😀
And being $50 less 😀
It's audio brand, primarily, if anything they want to improve, they obviously priorities sound first, then others later
Hence....apple iphone
LDAC is much better than aptax or SBC or AAC.
Bang & Olufsen Beoplay EX, They are the best and they are amazing bass!
From 2 pac and rap/ hip hop to progressive metal like tesseract or tool.
start exploring IEMS, they're wired which gives MUCH better sound quality. Once you hear the good ones you'll never go back wireless!
My favorite pair of earbuds I've owned yet and still have and use are the jabra 75ts. The bass is ridiculous and I think the sound quality is awesome. Plus, they're older so they'll be cheap.
Google: WOOJER STRAP 3
Great to hear that it's good of running as well!
is it worth to upgrade from XM4 to Momentum 3 ?
Probably not, the XM4 have better ANC, battery life, and features, you might feel like you lost a bit of those if you upgrade. The XM4 are still pretty new also, so you might want to wait a little while longer before upgrading. 🙂
Why do you think it's an upgrade?
almost in the same boat. My XM4s are my Airpod Pro backups and nothing touches Pros ANC and Transparency but for sound Sony is better. But for comfort I'm interested in the Senheisers because with how big the Sonys are you can feel some ear soreness as it comes down to the fit
Do they have multipoint connectivity ?
They will supposedly add it with a firmware upgrade.
i prefer the design and look of the mtw 2s earbuds ...they did get most things right all I was looking forward to was just a shrunk down case size close to Jabras offerings or airpods pro ...but I don't see much difference ...
Where can I buy them ?
they will go out on sale next month, they are sending testers now
I can't wait to try this earbud
Loved the sound Noise Cancellation was great but I had to reconnect to Bluetooth every time and I mean every time has anyone had these same issues?
Hi. My question: don't you think those plastic fins will wore out over time and so make the whole product useless, Forcing you to throw them away?
It can't as long as the transfer rate of aptx adaptive 440kbs/sec are less than 990kbs ldac and even balanced 660 kbs.
I own sennheiser cx 400 but I would like it to have ldac.
Yes, I grew up in California. NoCal not SoCal. But clearly I suffer nonetheless.
I don't think sennheiser app is "crappy" it's just more barebones and simplistic
@@ezrapardede1921 Barebones and simplistic is what you use for the first iteration. It's been years and it's hardly any better. There's no excuse for it still being as bad as it is after years of having actual consumer feedback.
@@thenonexistinghero the mic destroys the sony's lol.
Its a major change. The sony's sound incredibly inaccurate.
The xm3 my God! I tried and I look in the mirror and I see shrek😂
Yeah, as most reviews, they are always super good. Bought the MTW 2 and it didn't sound thaaat great. Airpods Pro and Galaxy Buds have more natural sound and blow it out of the water in terms of accuracy, completely different experience in comparison with their headphones.
My MTW2 ANC is so bad compared to the Bose and xm4
There is a gap between the YT Reviewers and the Reviews from Specialists for IEM and Headphones. TH-camrs review them as beautiful and the Specialists like Crinacle say they are overpriced and have less Quality than the Samsung Buds.
@@fethryduck I have both, and I stand by crinacle’s analysis. Problem with the buds pro imho is the fit. It keeps falling easily from my ears. The MTW 2 sound is sadly average at best, it doesn’t justify its price tag.
@Roberto Vidal Garcia I do. They are more neutra but more detailed. And something is just wrong with the tuning on MTW2, they just killed the mids.
lol wth you talking about airpod will never sound better the TW
Bought a pair of these in June of 2023. It’s now September of 2023. A few weeks ago they started losing their charge when I put them in the charging base. Ironic, right? They’re now completely dead and totally unresponsive. I have bought many Sennheiser products in the past, but never again. These were a total waste of $300. Very sad considering the price.
I can say that aside from the sound, these buds have no pros.
First of all, it took me a few months to get them to work with my Pixel 7 phone proprerly: there was always a problem that when connected I couldn't use them as a headset. Then it was fixed by updates.
But another problems started 4-5 months after purchase:
Poor contact between the buds and the ports in the case.
Well, it is quite important to tell how they compare to the very best on the marked right now: the 400$ Beoplay EQ!??
I don’t get it why they can’t just release smaller earbuds. These are still too big for my taste.
You have no idea how TWS earbuds work then, do you? Because alongside drivers, they also need a battery and components for the smart electronics. If you want to have smaller earbuds, go with wired ones.
Apparently someone is having his period.
There are a lot of earbuds that has similar specs but are smaller.
You’re amazing but I can’t help but think it’s got to be horrible for her ears to keep buds in long-term.
Just bought them. Great review. Thank you very much.
I doubt it sounds better than the JBL Live Pro with 11mm drivers
