The biggest upgrade and the reason I didn't pick up the momentum 2s was the change to independent bud connections. The fact that the 2s had a master slave setup was a disgrace and made me not get them but the 3s corrected that and now they are ideal.
The momentum 3's are getting an update down the line to address multi-point connection and microphone quality. So maybe you should do a three month update or something down those lines
Yes I heard that also..there is an firmware update coming soon. But also, I heard that the Sennheiser’s 2’s Will also be able to get an update also! Here’s Hoping.
@@sickheadache9903 maybe the update would address the transparency mode allowing you to adjust it or improve the ANC to be on par with tw3 performance wise. The tw3 does not have sidetone whereas the tw2 does! I hope the tw3 gets sidetone back it may sound like a small thing to have but I like to hear myself when I have to use the microphone for calls 📞

Strange, but I cant enjoy the sound of MTW3, no matter how to tune the eq. The sound is very detailed, drums sounds really good, but I cant get any "meat" out of there earphones, maybe because of a bit pushed back upper mids, Im not shure. Now I gravitate to sell them, because general feeling of music is not like I like or expected. Who has tried MTW3 too, whats your opinion of its sound, in different music genres? Thank you P.S. Oh Yeah..The other Issue is that..The Sennheiser TWM 3 …Never Automatically turn off. Though I have Check 15 minutes..they stay on..no matter what..I have to turn off my blue tooth in my IPad.

I will get the Sennheiser’s 3’s …but my own set up is perfect for me and the music I listen to at all times. I will admit that the new App that comes with the momentum 3’s also got updated with my Momentum 2’s …so there even more presets to play around with. I have these but i am going to have to return them. When I put these in the case they do not disconnect from my phone. I also notice that the sound in the left bud is louder than the right one which makes the music sound unbalanced. It's a shame as they sound incredible.
I currently have the tw2’s, but the left earbud has decided to die after my two years ownership. I already got my right ones replaced a while back for the same issue. However, i would mainly blame myself for this because i have a tendency to drop them alot, which is definitely a contributing factor. That being said, i loved them so much, and i will be upgrading to the tw3’s, and i’ll make sure not to drop them. Sennheiser will always be my go to earbuds.
In my opinion, the tips that come with them are BAD. I find them uncomfortable and getting a good seal is very difficult. With the Comply tips, they are much, much more comfortable. I often forget they are in my ears if I don't have anything playing, something I sometimes do when I just want some quiet and only have them in for the now improved ANC. The superior seal they provide results in vastly superior sound, especially bass response. No contest. They should come with the Sennheisers like they do with the Sony. Finally, Comply hold them firmly in your ears. I run with them all the time with no issues. They are just fine for exercise if properly tipped. Only downside is the exorbitant pricing which is made worse because it's a recurring cost. But it's still just worth it.
Excuse me Sir, is the app setting can be carried on when I use the earbuds on PC? Like EQ setting and ANC on/off setting? I mainly use earbuds in quiet room connected to PC, and I would like to turn off the ANC for longer battery life...
Nice review, & i definitely agree with the comments you made based on the sound differences, I experienced the same thing, the mtw2 lacks bass but brighter sound, while the mtw3 has a great sound with more relaxed highs but has better bass response. I prefer the mtw3 any day. The lack of bass on the mtw2 is the only drawback.
just bought the CX plus SE for £99 (45% discount) and i like the fit, overall the shape of the CX plus SE is slimmer than the mtw2, more comfortable for everyday use.
Great review. I recently upgraded my MTW2 with the MTW3. I agree that the sound quality improved and the fit was also improved. The downside is that the right earbud failed within 10-15hrs use. I also experienced that the earbuds didn’t turn off, or disconnect when put back into the case. I’ve returned them for a refund and I’m going to give the Sony vf-1000-xm4 a tryout this time around.

Bought some for around 210 USD equivalent. Still waiting for them. Had Jabra 75t before and loved their sound. Hope these are even better. Also read the TW3s got a firmware update. Hope for more updates in the future. I am sad however to hear about the background hiss, because that was the very reason why I gave my Jabra 75ts away to family. My tinnitus couldn’t live with that high pitched noise and would get worse over time. Loved their sound quality though and was sad to part with them.
I got mine today Sennheiser Momentum 3’s. The 3’s still need an external 12 Band EQ which was already set. For the M2’s…BUT a I had to do some tuning to the external EQ…The 3’s SOUND Truly more Open and wider than the 2’s..and a lil more Kick into the Bass Department. The 3’s are also Louder than the 2’s. I had to push back on the EQ Volume..not to blow my ear drums on some Wide Open John Williams and John Barry Scores. The Mid Range is more pronounce, and the drums have a more crisp sound to the them. I’m very impressed.
I would like to hear your opinion on SoundCore Liberty 3 Pro, I switched from Momentum 2 to Liberties, and blown away by sound and features. Especially HearID.
Update: YES..the Sennheiser’s TWM 3 still sound Great..but now there is a charging issue. Major Charging Issue. When placed in the charging case, as soon as placed in..the case Green Light Comes..meaning it is fully charge! It is not charged! Yes Sennheiser I have cleaned the connectors, and still the charging case green light comes on instantly. Is this a Firm Ware Issue? Or is this Poorly Designed Connector Issue? I have given Sennheiser a email explaining the major issues. Hopefully soon they will hit me back..Has anyone had this issue of not Charging? Thanks
nah, the Moewmtum 3's sound noticeably better than the Momentum 2's. and overall, I feel the Momentum 3's offer a better package than the WF-1000XM4's.
Bullshit. Momentum TW 3 sound much worse than TW 2 and they very Uncomfortable. Bass enhance do nothing. they sound just terrible. Very disappointed. Send them back after 2 days and bought TW 2
You need an outside EQ to set to ur liking for This to work. When I got the earbuds 2’s I got an 12 band EQ and Bam..The Sennheiser’s 2’s and Sennheiser’s 3’s Headphones are EXCELLENT for my own Tastes. And also..you fail on this issue. …Sennheiser’s products need.. A several weeks or so to “Warm Up” to break in. You should have already known this about Sennheiser Products.

My 2’s did not work the way I wanted at first…I was truly big time disappointed..but the guys at Sennheiser recommended me, a wait period for the Sennheiser’s sound to warm up..and a external EQ…which I did..and Bam..My 2’s sound excellent..along with my Momentum 3’s Headphones.
