mog's outlook on working hard for a moment of satisfaction reminds me of "The Myth of Sisyphus" by Albert Camus. Sisyphus realizes his torment is eternal and his actions are meaningless, but he overcomes this misfortune by learning to enjoy his punishment (being forced to roll a boulder up a hill for eternity). I'm sure Sisyphus loved the moments when the boulder rolled back down the hill. Even if it is futile, it's inherently rewarding if we see that doing hard things is enjoyable. In the same way, setting up dominoes for hours just to topple them over is inherently fun and rewarding. There is no prize for setting up a domino track in your own house for fun, but it's just nice to see how they all fall over. One must imagine @Mogswamp happy :)

ok, I was watching the TOTALLY, DEFINITELY NOT HATING THE NEW UPDATE stream, and I really want your plushie to get made (I got one myself and if I had more money I'd get one for my little brother) but I had an idea for what you could do to get people to buy them. so you know how selling your soul got you to one million subs? just sell your soul again! Let me explain it has to be something in game so make the plushie in game (big derpy head and all) but make two hundred of them so the first two hundred people get their names on them and therefore permanently in your world. You could even make use of the new hanging signs!
these videos always inspire me so much, I usually play Minecraft by myself and I build to tell stories over functionality, and it gets discouraging I can't show it to anyone in the world, but these help me tell my stories in my world even if they are just for myself. Its so cool how little rooms have life in them.

I got inspired by people as Scar, Cubfan and Bdubs to start a long term world because they once had their SSP-series before Hermitcraft. My world is younger than yours, almost 8 years now but still going strong with endless ideas and a todolist that never shrinks.
Love sentimental the music at the start, I've used that before and it's amazing! Edit: I know the boathouse-drunk-sailor music too. I love that you use the audio library music because I regularly recognize the songs.

This was so inspirational, me and my friends have a realm that we grind on every few days and some days I'm in there alone doing my own thing gathering my own resources! I made my own house just from imagination and symmetry, all in all Minecraft is a big part of my life where it's pretty much my therapy and life entertainment. It's weird to say but it's always been there for me since it came out on Xbox in 2013, since then I moved from Xbox to PlayStation so there's no end to the world of imagination!

Idea for your ark build to bring it up to speed with the rest of your world. Put it inside of another much bigger ark so you can keep it as a piece of history and it can not look out of place. Also you can turn the rest of the new ark into a museum for your world in case you have visitors. Everyone like this comment so he can see it and give back a reply.
