the attack of the real organ is slower. We call it wind snooping . If you use a lot of stops/registers the pressure will be lower, and also the attack changes. But for a free digital organ this is real cool :)

This is a great Baroque organ. It has a very bold full principal chorus on the HW and even though the Mixtur is V/VI it is not strident or overpowering. The OW offers a full compliment of stops that includes some softer combinations, yet can be almost equal in power to the HW. Those two manuals make a complete organ for me, however there is a 3rd manual for added color. I agree with you, Paul, that this is one of the best baroque samplesets that I have heard so far. Thanks to you, for presenting this so well. Another great presentation, Paul !

Sehr lobenswert finde ich auch, dass Sonusparadisi die Sets ab Hauptwerk 4.2 anbietet. Nicht alle können oder wollen updaten. Bei anderen Anbietern bleiben deshalb neue Sets dann unerreichbar. 😦
4:44 That is why I don't do chords for 16' reeds or below (at least not on the lower part of the keyboard, on the middle and upper parts they can sound good). I do, however, like some resultants involving flue stops.
@@PaulFey Yeah when in combination with other stops it can probably sound good. But all by itself it's hideous in my opinion and I'd rather not do it myself.

I always love your uploads. But I think its a bit of a pity that you dont usually demonstrate gap combinations. like for instance an 8' with a 2' or a 16' with a 4' or a 4'with a 1'. They make interesting and beautiful combinations.

Nice demo as usual. A term I rarely see is 'Unterwerk.' What does an organist understand of the division's purpose? No swell box(es) -- well, um, OK. No Celestes -- well, um, I'd miss them. I suppose this is in keeping with baroque historical context... or something. I wonder when celestes first came into play? Crass comment of the week: The Unterwerk with trem sounds (fatally?) like a Hammond B3!
Auch wenn das insgesamt ein gutes Barock-Set ist, muss ich sagen, dass die Streicher alle klingen wie zu leise intonierte Flöten. Kaum Strich oder mehr Obertöne als die Flöten. Sehr schade. Trotzdem danke für die wie immer großartige Präsentation, lieber Paul!
Thanks for the great video! Question can I load an organ in hauptwerk with a stepper already engaged at startup? I know I can auto load an organ when hauptwerk starts but I can't figure out how to also load a combination of stops ready to play automatically. Thank you Please chime in with any ideas.

Hab für mich soeben die verhältnismäßig günstigen Programme von Markus Sigg fürs IPad entdeckt, die ich ab und an z.B. bei Open Air Gottesdiensten als mobile Lösung einsetze. Liebe Grüße
