- Kyosho tki2 tips and testing . In this video I go over some tki2 tips that I would recommend. I also talk about this rc cars weakest point . The front arms breaking in COLD temperatures . Being mindful of a cars weak point may help prevent DNF results . The kyosho is a great car and has a lot of potential behind it . It’s a durable quality 1/8 scale buggy . So don’t let a minor weak point trick you into thinking that the buggy is not capable of winning . #kyosho

Absolutely how I broke my only arm. Got the ass end up to high and came down on the left arm full force. You could hear the crack a mile away! Clearly my fault. Nobody should be jumping the way I did. Lesson learn no more breaks. Good stuff my man!👍🏾
Tighten the servo saver some that will give a little less pressure on the arm whenyou land on the front wheel.
The pressure will go into the servo saver.

Tworks sell a set complete brass inserts I have them an 22degree with 0degree an I use the Derlin plastic inserts on the shocks with a shim then lock nut
Looks good, been running mine an racing them in cold as well. No problems, only one shock shaft an pills broke. An theres hardly no tki2 shock shafts available atm! Also i have all diff sized of hubs, an 22° is the truth. I know its pricey, ive only got one set of 22 . Need one moe for ebuggy!
That’s good you haven’t broken them . So I ordered that hagoth pit caddy back on January 25th . Still no pit caddy . 🤔 they didn’t email me back

@@BuggyBrentRC oh about that pic caddy brother It took forever to get mine they had a fire back when I first originally ordered mine. So it's going to take a while either way I meant to tell you that a long time ago so slow go. I think there's the only ones that really sell that are make it. And I had kind of modified mine when I got it when you get yours I will kind of show you but I done to make all the the holders and all that safer so they're not cutting into your fuel bottle. But also on a different note that OS man is looking good sounding good. I wish they weren't so expensive I would probably try give them another try but I've got a b2102 setting up on the shelf that needs a piston and and sleeve and that's probably where it's going to stay on the shelf or I'm going to sell it off for parts. Cuz it's too damn expensive in my book. Anyhow keep it up buddy good job
Also I still think I got that guy's phone number I can find for the pit caddy. Because doing the email thing was really unproductive and I ended up tracking down I think it was the owner's phone number through one guy or another. And he put me right in touch with him and that's who explained it all to me. Also had got the stacker it's called, that's next three cars it's also really good you just have to paint both of them if you don't get them powder coated. Which was a fortune to do that so paint it worked out good for me. Also I'm curious about your temperature there cuz I mean here in Savannah it gets cold but not like it does in other parts of the country. Cuz I mean we race year around outside. And I'm actually I think still running the hard arms I believe and I think that's my backup set is hard as well. And I've beat the shit out of them so far and I had none break but like I say I have broken some pills.
@@bluecrabnitroracing4499 good info on that pit caddy . When and if it arrives lol 😂 I will hit you up on those mods . So outside temp was roughly 45 degrees racing when those arms broke . My buddy broke his arms last weekend at the ROCCK as well . Broke the arms twice there . Over jumped and flat landed and broke the arms . I broke my truggy arms that test day in this video . It was silly when it broke too. Literally 3 feet of air and landed on the left front and snap . But it’s all good . The cars can take a beating no doubt . It’s just something I now think of when driving and try avoiding that front end from slamming into the ground as much as possible . I do my best to not over jump . And we are breaking these arms more with the hard versions . Super soft seems to work better but they still break . Thanks man . The b2103 is ripping right now . I’m very pleased with it . I agree there expensive. I bought this engine from adam drakes used engine shop . $375 . But I had to put bearing in it after about a gallon

yes the tki2 buggy is the latest nitro buggy that kyosho has. I would recommend the kyosho. I have moved on from kyosho to Mayako currently. but kyosho is a good car.

@@josereta2321 the mayako in my opinion is a better car . I’m very happy with the mayako mx8 nitro buggy . It’s a faster easier driving car . It is also a little stronger than the kyosho .

What is temperature you are running in, I'm running my tki2 . 1 year now and haven't broke an arm yet🤞🏁
Average temp is about 45 degrees F .
You going to season opener at lcrc?
I will not be attending the opener at lcrc . All though I’m going to try and make it out there this summer to race .
What ride height are you running, your front springs are wound down a good bit, the buggy must be 26 at the front
The front shocks are mounted all the way inward . I measure ride height just behind the front wheel from the side . Front is 23mm and rear is 25mm

@@jundelfintvhobby hello 👋 . That motor is the O.S. Speed B1203 . Current engine models from O.S Speed is the B2105 that was recently released about 3 months ago .
Also they has 2 versions of the b2103 . The R and the S version . The one in this video is the S version . Focused on fuel efficiency and the unique cooling head design
