It's really amazing how that Lambo looks like it's doing 80mph when in fact it's doing 30. Those were some very good designers.
It’s the opposite really. When you drive those cars it’s so easy to get speeding tickets cause you can drive faster without noticing. I was doing 120 mph when I though my corvette was in km/h that’s how easy it is to miss 100km/h difference lol

You know someone is an old-school R/C enthusiast when they break out a dual stick transmitter. Brings me back to my first R/C cars over 30 years ago. When I got a proper car (Associated RC10B2 Team Kit, great fun building that) I migrated over to the Futaba Magnum Sport and haven't used a dual stick for cars since.
I love it how you are both smiling until Kevin floors it and the car takes off and then you get the most serious looks on your faces. lmao🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂

My first RC was a tr15 inferno in 2000 . Great cars still works 20 years later and my kyosho superten fw04 20 years old still bashing it .
I use to have a pureten Corvette Stingray... Good ol' days.
Those are surprisingly tough, they have to finish races at a world class level. That is great info and would have been useful way back when I learned nitro ground vehicles. Full throttle, start box until mist, glow 10 sec. And start. Good tips.

Just ordered a TKi2. It will be my first 8th scale nitro buggy build. Ive built quite a few kits but im a little intimidated to be honest. Super stoked to be getting one finally though. Im gonna check out mikes channel for some grade A info and tips. Nice content you have!

Absolutely brilliant. Love your last post with Mick Craddock. Had loads of RC cars. At the moment I have a Carbon Cub rc plane, Buggyra fat fox the shell was a nightmare to build, and I think my best is a second hand HPI Trophy 3.5. There is something about nitro 😁

This is one of the best rc cars you can drive on the track etc. Is the most winning brand and quality that never disappoints you. Probably works less like a skate park car, is more of a race buggy car

My first RC car about 20 years ago was a Kyosho PureTen GP Alpha Ford Focus (Colin Mcrae) with a GX12 motor. That thing brought me to alot of smiles as a 12y old boy.
I got myself a good 2nd hand Mp9TKI4 last year as a project and as i have too many nitro cars i'm doing an electric conversion on it. and can not wait to get it ready.
