That was great guys. Music back then was top notch. I had the pleasure of attending 2 of my high school year end dances with April Wine as our entertainment. My favorite tune back then was drop your guns. A few of my buddies and I spent a summer as groupies I guess you could call it spending weekends where ever they were playing in the Montreal area. What a great time to be leaving high school in the early 70's listening to rock bands and going to concerts. I maybe in my 60's but this music to this day just makes you feel good. Keep adding April Wine hits to your playlist. They are my favorite nostalgia go to band from the good old days. Myles Goodwin’s fantastic voice and the 3 guitars make for a rich sound.
You want to hear a band with three lead guitarists. April Wine.
Glad you guys enjoyed this old gem. It was always on the radio in Canada. You'd hear it at roller rinks and high school dances and such from the 70s and 80s.
In the US, you often missed/miss out on great Canadian bands & artists. The bands that emerged in the 70s & 80s were absolutely epic, fantastic, and amazingly talented. The list is HUGE, guys. 🔥🔥🔥
