Years ago, there was a group who went through an aquifer, here in FL. Saw it on PBS, I guess. The aquifer was so small but really long. They were above ground with radar or whatever, tracking the divers. At one point he said they just went under the salad bar at a Sonny's Barbecue.
I was one of your 1st 100 or so subs. I Absolutely LOVE your work!!! I'm in NW FL, (& have thousands of hrs invested in area research), so if you ever need any Boots OTG , let me know!
This gave me chills after my dream of tunnels underneath Florida early this morning, 5/6/23. Ur channel came up afterwards. Im in awe of the Universe. Be at peace and be blessed.
I don't know what kind of camera these guys filmed this with, but it turned out reeeeeeeeal good . That some of the best definition and camera work I've seen come out of these caves here in Florida.
I see what you're talking about! if you pause @ 14:55 and look just below and to the right of where the face seems to be carved, you can also notice what looks to be a broken face. I see an eye, a nose, and a full mouth. if you can get it paused at the right frame right around @14:56 to the immediate right of the face almost looks like the depiction of a woman wearing a crown, and immediately to the left you can see another mouth but the rest of the face is covered or missing. You can also perfectly see Zues or Prometheus's head in this frame so it really shows how close in proximity they all to each other.

No marine life swimming down with divers, may keep their distance terrified of light, light is rare down around those depths. Carbon dioxide traversing those caverns as rare in the amounts being exhaled.
There’s little to no life, because it’s freshwater and they’re thousands of feet from the nearest surface point, so there’s no exchange of organic matter for living organisms to feed on.

During certain months here on island at night when I lay in bed I can hear the whales sounding offshore. The vibrations reverberate in my rib cage. It’s marvelous.
Beautiful and thank you for sharing this footage. I read about these caves in Florida author Randy Wayne White's book -Deep Shadow - one of his Doc Ford novels - and he lives on Pine Island/Sanibel. And I've always wanted to see this but suspect I will never go cave diving like this or have the skill that professional divers have. This is a real treat!

@oldworldflorida where can I find information on the comments you made recently on Paul Cook's channel stating "Steamships used to travel from the Gulf to the Atlantic via the underground karst systems"? Will have to drop by the bookshop, I am in West Palm.
