  • Laying up a solid core ultra light slope/ds wing. 2 hrs compressed into 2 minutes. Textreme 64gr. Skins. A good bit of 80gram and 134 gram uni for spar caps as well.

    Hi Andre, model is called Sheer. It is 2.6m model. CNC carved cores are only used for ultra light version. Build log can be found here: www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?2875929-Sheer-2-6m-All-around-slope-DS-model

    Let me ask you a few things:
    What plane is this?
    Do you have your cores carved on a CNC?
    What material do you use for your molds? They look stiff but not too heavy...

    Why the Clamps ??? Resin Expands

      Clamps are to close the molds. In this case it crushes the oversize foam cores and debulks the skins.
