Church reputation has been ruined by much of child harassment scandals. the pope has struggling to prosecute those scandals that has done by those priests. It can't be helped, they just judged in general but don't know who the pope is

The mother was trying to drag the child off the stage and the Pope said in Spanish "let him play here if he wants" plus he noticed the boy couldn't speak when his mother tried to take him away... usually you get to understand these things when you care to learn a different language than your mother tonge. Edit- I also noticed the second time I watched his mother says "no puede hablar" which means "he can't talk."
The pope first jokes about himself, then compliments the kid and comforts his mother. Shows a kind heart in an intelligent man.

if it's one thing that Pope Francis should be remembered for, it's His Holyness's humility.
