Which scene should we talk about next? Drop your suggestion below and I'll pick one to do the next video on, and shout out the winner! In the meantime, what did you think of this scene in The Lost Agent Arc? Thanks everyone!
My favorite scene from the TYBW has to be when Ichigo arrives from the Soul Kings palace and absolutely embarrasses the femritters. The confidence, the massive gap in power, and the drip he shows off all makes for a wonderful scene. I especially love the callback to when Kenpachi saved him in Hueco Mundo. He's now here to save Kenpachi
Looking back at that scene with Ichigo breaking down in tears was so well done and it kinda made me tear up too. And it definitely gave out more heat on Ginjo and Tsukishima for doing this to my favorite MC. The next scene you should talk about Soi-Fon breaking down in tears when she asked Yoruichi “Why didn’t you take me with you?”. Cause to me I thought that scene was so impactful and explained why Soi-Fon was so mad and disappointed with her.
If I were to pick any one scene from Bleach, it would probably have to be the first appearance of Menos Grande, way back in the Substitute Shinigami Arc. It was the moment when Hollows went from your run-of-the-mill evil spirits to something truly terrifying. That string of panels, where we see that pale hand slip out from the cracks in the sky, followed by the reveal of that grinning mask, is easily one of the most haunting moments in the whole series.
I think a scene that stuck with me a lot was the night that the vizards became what they are. Seeing them all transform into hollow-fied monsters and aizen, gin, and tosen being there was bone chilling.
This is one of my favorite scenes in all of Bleach. It truly showed that despair Ichigo had realizing he couldn’t protect his family and friends… he couldn’t do anything… he was truly powerless… just like when his mother died… it was truly heartbreaking seeing him lose hope and in despair, and made me bawl my eyes out. Fullbring/Lost Agent is such an underrated arc imo.
Of course the scene that played right afterwards made me jump out my seat and yell “YES!” And when Rukia said, “Show them Ichigo! That despair cannot stop you!” I was yelling lmaooo
Fullbringer arc is so slept on. People act like Kubo just had to write a psuedo filler arc to justify Ichigo getting his powers back but it's actually an amazing story...the raw emotion in this scene was crazy. Ichigo got mentally defeated here
It really feels like Kubo always wanted to do more in the human world on a more emotional, lower power-level scale but by the nature of Weekly Shonen Jump, he needed to get to Soul Society and after that he needed things to remain on that level with those popular characters. The volume-extra Mizuiro chapter in the middle of Soul Society really screamed "I want you all to understand this character, even if he's never relevant again." The Lost Agent Arc manages to be insanely unique and scratch that itch. I really only wish that editorial just let him cook a little longer: once the Captains come in, it really feels like we're speedrunning things.
despite everyone's views on this arc as a whole, no one can deny how IMPACTFUL and MONUMENTAL this arc (and scene) was. No enemy has pushed ichigo to cry or lose ALL hope, not even the infamous aizen has made ichigo cry. Tsukishima and Ginjo completely DESTROYED ichigo without brute force but mentally, which is even more painful than getting two holes blown in his chest. This shows how much more painful it was for ichigo to lose his powers rather than getting cut and killed. This arc revealed the psychological side of ichigo and it really did hurt more than every drop of blood that he recieved. ginjo and tsukishima (especially my brothe-- i mean tsukishima) were top tier bleach villains
This one absolutely tore me to pieces. Imagine everybody you know and love turning their backs on you and abandoning you. Not through months and years but in the span of hours, days. It was absolutely heartbreaking to see ichigo like that seeing as how we really hadn't seen him beaten down this low in the whole series. His whole thing is protecting his friends and family and in this moment he couldn't do anything at all. You can just see the look of despair and hopelessness on his face when he comes to the realization that everything he loved was taken away and there's nothing he can do to stop it
You know it was so impactful when it shows how much despair Ichigo had and then Orihime was confused as to why she couldn’t stand the sight of Ichigo crying. It was just something that she never thought would happen to someone like him.
Uh no I dont think thats it 😅 not standing ichigo crying because something like that would not happen? More like she couldnt stand ichigo crying because the person she loved was suffering.
Rukia reappearing is one of my favorite scenes in the entirety of Bleach because I've always loved her as a character, and this just confirmed it for me. Also, it shows just how much she loves him even if not romantically. Though I did at first strongly believe she would've been the one to end up with him. So much so that I don't believe the story behind her and Renji ending up together to make as much sense. She literally could not stand living without Ichigo regardless of why. It's beautiful friendship if nothing else.
Well the build up was kinda weak. I did enjoy it but as it's been said theres better competition and considering this arc was so short, might as well been a filler. I personally wanted more slice of life as mature ichigo with the rest of his friends but we get very little development from them.
This is definitely one of my favorite scenes in Bleach because it shows vulnerability and helplessness in the MC that you hardly ever see in a Shounen Protagonist. Also, seeing Orihime's reaction to Ichigo crying and her contemplating what is right was also great.
I have to say, MrTommo has to be one of my favourite BLEACH channels on TH-cam. There's something about the pacing of the videos and the cadence of how he speaks to his audience that is very easy to listen to in the background while doing other things. I very much appreciate everything that he does :)
That is a good scene. Ichigo has never been betrayed before. His friends has always been his strength. But kuchiki makes this moment better. His first rival has unwavering faith.
This entire episode was the absolute best in the anime, by a mile. Seeing Ichigo break, and truly succumb to despair. Seeing all of the symbolism with him drowning in his inner world, bound by chains. Seeing him stand back up, break through those chains, and try to muster his resolve one more time... and it all culminates into the single greatest moment: The Getsuga Tensho that well and truly pierced the heavens. The dark clouds which had hung over his head and his heart are quite literally blown away in the most brilliant flash of light and sound.
The emotions displayed in this arc are amazing, the rain really added to the symbolism and gloomy/moody atmosphere. It makes Ichigo ultimately prevailing against and slaying Ginjo all the more satisfying yet Ichigo still has the decency to request his proper burial away from the treacherous intrigue of Soul Society. Treachery that was just a slight suspicion away from attacking him too.
It was a great scene. Kubo excelled in this arc, especially this chapter. It showed Kubo's directing skills The thing I've always loved in Bleach manga.
A lot of people look down on this arc but I thought it was a great comedown from all the fighting and action to a more emotional-invested storyline of Ichigo unknowingly teaming up with an enemy organization and seeing how it plays out
Probably cause most people don't like a main character that's weak and helpless which is understandable but I feel that characters like that are super well written and realistic.
It's important to remember that, for anime only viewers, this was the very last part of Bleach. It also came immediately after the fight with Aizen, when the series was at it's most DBZ-spectacular. The Lost Agents lowers the power level and lack a lot of that spectacle until the very end. On top of that, it is one long training arc built on the MCs insecurities, which have been focused on a few times but never closely examined. The Lost Agents arc was a victim of the anime's slashed run-time, as it was never *meant* to be the end of the story. It's a fun bridge between major story arcs, throwing around wacky powers and doing a deep dive into Ichigo as a person. The TYBW arc was supposed to be that massive spectacle that the fans wanted, but anime only viewers were left on what felt like an anti-climactic conclusion to a series that meant a lot to them.
As a preface: I didn't read the manga, and watched the anime up until this point. I only picked up the manga when I found out TYBW was a thing. Ichigo's despair in this very moment (along with the build-up) was what made this arc top three for me. Tsukishima and Ginjo represented the type of enemy that Ichigo simply couldn't defeat with willpower and strength like most of his enemies before. It was the one time where I felt as though even if Ichigo had brutalized Tsukishima and Ginjo, that victory wouldn't really mean anything, because the two of them had already won. I felt bad when Ichigo had to give up his powers to defeat Aizen, but this moment just felt like Ginjo wanted to rub it in to our favorite carrot-top--the metaphorical kick to the metaphorical downed horse. Bravo, Mr. Tommo, bravo. Banger after banger on this channel.
When ichigo cries I cry and the nerve for ginjo to laugh at him so fitting for ichigo to cut him down and byakyua to blow a hole through the menace of the arc
The entire sequence from Ichigo getting stabbed by Ginjo, seeing him break down into tears after losing his power and seeing his inner world a flooded city once again, to Ichigo demanding Ginjo to give him back his power is one of if not my favorite scene in the entire series to the point that I always have a browser on episode 361 open (not exaggerating)I could spend like like 5 paragraphs explaining how great it is and I’m glad it’s getting it’s respect in the form of this video
This seen almost made me cry I felts so heart broken seeing ichigo breakdown with tears in his eyes believing he was helpless to save his friends, family and protect them
The scene where Full Hollow Ichigo summons his sword against Ulquiorra. It flips towards him and breaks the ground and fuck man The awe, terror and oh shit emotions it gave me, my brothers and our friends is insane No other scene came quite as close when we were 16 years old and watching this monster tear apart Ulquiorra Have you made a video on that fight? If not, I think you should.
Honestly the fullbring arc has to be my favorite arc… all lovable characters ! But seeing this side of Ichigo was just AMAZING ! Felt so natural and completely understandable. Losing everything and finally finding that glimpse of hope again, to have it ripped away from you again from the person you’d thought had been helping you while also having all your loved ones who you wanted to protect forcefully turn on you… amazing arc
Another dope scene from this arc is when Byakuya defeating Tsukishima it's show how grateful he is to ichigo, Byakuya had his memory completely rewriting to see him a life long Ally but because he ichigo enemy that enough to kill him
14:00 I think what makes this so much more even so in the anime is that they use ulquiroas death ost and they slowly pan to rukias body becoming visible is very emotional
I was so blown away by just how personal this arc was compared to everything else in bleach and I absolutely love it. Watching this scene in the anime had me audibly cheering when Ichigo gets his powers back after being at his lowest point with literally no one left to turn to.
From a psychological standpoint this is by far the best ark Kudo ever made. It's also the first time I felt like the main characters had actually matured which was very refreshing.
Lost agent arc is the most beautiful arc for sure. Even the animation is so well done. People who hate on it with a passion just cant enjoy the small things
It's important to remember that the anime was canceled on this arc. So, for anime-only fans, this was the very last part of Bleach coming off of the Aizen fight. The Lost Agents is a great arc, but it clearly wasn't intended to be the finale of the series. It's one long training arc that introduces wacky powers, a lowered power level, and dives into Ichigo's insecurities which weren't the top priority of a lot of fans. This arc focused on a lot of things aside from spectacle and wide-scale conflict because it was building up to another major arc, but without the TYBW it felt like an anti-climactic end.
@@dungeonmaster3464 This is a very good point. To be fair I was anime only until I took the dive into the manga, which I wish I hadn't waited so long to read. I also had an issue where Ginjo seemed to be a carbon copy of ichigo. Seemed like they just wanted a bad Ichigo villian at the time. Having Tybw to read after definitely changes the storys feel. Thats fair. I just have to admire the animation and feel of the arc.
One of my hands-down favorite moments during the original bleach anime. Him telling Ginjo to give back his power in his lowest moment reminds me of who Ichigo is behind it all. It's an incredible moment, I could explain why but you've done it pretty well! 😂 The emotion, the audience's immersion in Ichigo's struggle that works so well. One of the best scenes, easily.
This is the only time ichigo cried in the anime or manga I think. That’s why it’s so heartbreaking to watch. When you got a guy who always has something to say and bounce back in all of his fights and then he turns out like this, you will really feel his despair and hopelessness.
While I love Aizen and Yhwach as antagonists, there is something about how twisted the fact that Tsukishima took Ichigo's main goal (having the strength needed to protect) and used that against him is such a cruel way, that makes me love him as a villain. The Fullbringer arc is all about what drives Ichigo and seeing someone give him hope, only for that same person to rob him of it, is a really great way of bringing the protagonist to his lowest point.
I really love the scene. The scene I would propuse is Ulquiorra's second resurrection reveal, that was so epic and the despair it transmit was legendary. Also TotalyNotMark began reviewing the manga of Bleach and I think it would be cool if you react to his analisys and give your opinion
This arc as a whole is what I point to whenever people say that Ichigo is a bland character, I don't think it's wrong of me to say that this is Ichigo at his most relatable. The feelings and bouts of loneliness, betrayal, depression, powerlessness. This arc had so many things we as readers could resonate with probably more than any other arc in Bleach just by its comparatively grounded nature. Ichigo, while a warrior in his own right, is still JUST a human. A teenage boy at that. I have to agree with Tommo on his bit about Kubo's artwork. It is absolutely phenomenal and there are so many good panels and pages. I'd have to say my favorite in all of Bleach would have to be when he's about to release his new Getsuga after getting his powers back.
on top of that, the OST of the anime also added to the scene, truly well done and such a undermined scene that reflects real life as well. I was once in that state of mind, thinking that I've lost everything but there's always that glimmer of hope, I'm so glad that Bleach and many other things got me through that tough time in my life
what it takes to make normal people give up: be stronger than them what it takes to make Ichigo give up: use an ability that even viewers have a hard time understanding to turn everyone he knows and cares about against him while being so vaguely malicious that you're legitimately terrifying on an existential level despite just being some hipster in suspenders
Awesome series idea! I would love to see coverage of the first time the hollow mask manifests in Ichigo's final fight against Byakuya. Another suggestion is the arrival of the Vizards on the battlefield. I know they didn't pan out long-term but their arrival in FKT was amazing at the time weekly.
2:05 Seens like im always against the norm, 'cause i love it!!! Every second of it, it's awesome. Lost Agent/Fullbring arc is the best arc of Bleach for me :D
Am very glad you talked about this scene in great detail within a video! As when I saw it both for the first time in the anime and when rewatching the series every so often, one thing stick with my mind and heart. This is my favorite "Ichigo" scene in the series to date, with the scene of Masaki when fighting Grand Fisher & Aftermath of Battle with Renji (when he discusses his past w/ Rukia and him begging to Ichigo) following close behind. Our protagonist Ichigo has been severely damaged and taken aback several times before this moment, yet it only really seemed like that. A push backwards. He'd somewhat just continue walking forward again even if at times appearing pessimistically cold or shut off in others eyes. This time though? Not a chance. Take all the pain he would've felt during the loss of his mother, his fear and humiliation when failing to save Rukia from Renji & Byakuya originally, the rejecting nature he embraces when trying to fend off hollows as his powers continually and rapidly decrease until they eventually extinguish and Rukia fades beside him. Bundle all the weight he's felt during those moment, smash it onto him like a bulldozer, and finally let the realization set it for him. Not only has he lost everything regarding his power to protect others like seen prior, he's lost SO much more at this moment. Finally thinking he regained all his lost abilities only to lose it all to the one he trusted the most at that point, only to also lose everyone else close to him.....Family....closest friends.....boss.....all the other friends he met alongside Ginjo. No matter how strong of a facade he's tried to play before, nothing can stop or withhold the emotional devastation he's suffered just then. Ichigo, our protagonist, and probably someone many viewers resonated or felt themselves bond together with, is finally crushed and broken beyond all belief and understanding. All he can do is scream and cry on the cold rain covered ground. The still shot or tiny scene where pans to Uryu looking over at Ichigo screaming and pouring his eyes and emotional core out. Seeing it has even an effect on Uryu a usually stoic character whom wouldn't expect much sentimental resonance from at a triggering event like this.....its heart-wrenching! We saw his inner world flooded much like before, expect not only is his whole inner world flooded like the town surrounding him, "BUT" he's heavily wrapped around in chains from shoulder to shoulder, physically and emotionally forcing him down on the ground. With only his pure resolve/desire and pride he retained in the very beginning of the show, being enough to break all the chains apart to stand once more. I understand and won't deny others opinions on this arc, as I know it isn't anywhere near as action-filled or fast paced between fights and the small interludes therein. It doesn't compare to amount of fights or fights in general from Soul Society arc, The grandiose force you experienced and albeit slowly at times inevitably succeeded past with the Arrancar & Espadas, The final battles in Karakura Town and Aizen against the Soul Reapers and eventual end at the hands of Dangai Ichigo. Yet I feel like that's exactly the point set to be made here and why I enjoy it so greatly, it ISN'T trying to focus primarily on action or that heavily on the fights in general. This is a personality arc in my eyes true and through! Seeing more of Ichigo besides just his raw strength and power, we delve deeper into his mindset and emotional stability or concerns than any arc prior. Who knows what they 1000 year blood war may bring to us with the anime creeping upon us soon, will we receive something just as damaging with possible additional or expanded content? Maybe....but what I do now for certain. This scene. Just for Ichigo as a person. Not as a fighter, As a soul reaper, As a partial Vizard, Or even a partial Quincy. It is the strongest we get to see him for whom he is, we can very easily connect or compare ourselves to Ichigo's level at this time. A young man whom's only desire is to take care of and protect those around him, to maintain that strength needed to achieve said goal. Nothing more, Nothing less.
The reveal of Ginjou’s true motives and then when Ichigo thinks his father and Kisuke have also been turned against him was so good. Ichigo’s brief despair was so emotional especially when you hear it in the anime. Like you said, Ginjou is almost like an older brother to Ichigo which I love. Even after Ginjou’s betrayal and death, Ichigo goes back to Soul Society for Ginjou’s body to give him a burial in Karakura.
This was a powerful scene, and it easily hurt me more than when Ulquiorra reached for orihime before turning to dust. Those two scenes are easily for me the saddest for me
I can't imaginge all my friends turning against me. That would crush me. I think this arc is like a small box as opposed to open field and the smallness of it, makes it work it work very nicely. When all of the charcters siad that it was not Ichigo who saves him but was Sukashimia. That must have made Ichigo crazy. But when he is stabbed in the back, and he learns that all the captains and vice captains poured their power into it, that was epic. They came to save him. Incredible.
This scene is an example of why the anime has advantages over the manga that make it worth checking out. It was by far one of the few scenes that was better than the manga in so many ways. Visuals and voice acting were amazing (especially Ichigo crying in the dub).
Just finish up Bleach manga again, and there were some concept art of Shiba Clan house back in Soul Society arc, that has ended up as inspiration for Soul King.
I read the Lost Agent arc when it was already completed, after putting the series down back in the day. I wouldn’t say I was especially critical or dubious about it as I was reading, but I still absolutely felt that vindication from this moment. It’s probably what locked me in for good.
The Lost Agent-arc is definitely underrated. This scene is intensive to be sure but I always found the most horrifying scene in the arc being the one where Ichigo goes home to find Tsukishima there and his whole family calling him stuff like Tsuki-san and talking about him like an old family friend. That was.... Wow.
I can’t even imagine the terror and hopelessness I would feel if a total stranger invaded the minds of all my friends and loved ones and turned them all against me. This scene was gut/heart wrenching for sure. *also, is there any actual way to block Tsukishima’s initial strike? Seems like none of his victims were able to avoid being cut.
Tsukishima's strike can be blocked, Byakuya proves as much, but most of his victims were helpless civilians. Chad and Orihime were taken by surprise because of his speed.
Just started this arc in the anime today…if this scene is anywhere near as emotional as the manga panels look, I might just cry. Bleach is slowly eclipsing Hunter X Hunter as my favorite anime ever.
I remember the first time watching this arc in the anime, and it didn't really respond to me at that time. After the high that was the previous arc, with how long it had been going on and then finally Aizens defeat, it was such an epic journey. To then be thrown into this kinda mellow and slow arc was strange, I'd gotten used to seeing epic battles with evil guys, so this was like hitting a switch, turning off the light. But later when I read the manga for the first time it really changed my mind about this whole arc. I remember investing my feelings into this journey Ichigo was taking, building his strength, hardening his resolve, and entering dangerous territories just to get the power to protect everyone important to him. It was really intriguing to see this new side of bleach that hadn't been before. But most of all, to delve deeper into the person that is Ichigo. When I came to this part my heart was wrenching in pain, because his sorrow was so palpable, and it really got to me. No other time in bleach have my emotions been so high strung. I wanted to reach through the pages and hug him, telling him it would be alright. I think it's especially painful because I don't think Ichigo is really afraid of dying per se, if he can save his friends and family then it's worth it. He's been near death several times and never regretted ending up there, because it was for the "right" reason, because he did everything he could. To me it felt more like he was desperate and angry in those situations, not broken and torn like at the end of this arc. Yet at this moment, in his life, there's nothing left for him anymore. The people that carried him forward and built up his very being, were stripped away, turned into enemies. It's so incredibly dark and terrifying. That's what makes this moment so very deep and powerful. All these emotions are beautifully displayed in one simple panel, it's so palpable, and heart wrenching. The only thing missing for me, would be a larger reaction from his father and Urahara. To see more of the emotional impact this situation would have on them. I can only imagine the pain they must've felt watching him like that. Which is why it would've been nice to actually delve into that, if just a little bit. This whole arc left a huge impact on me, and I love it, definitely one of my favorite moments throughout the whole manga. Thank you for discussing it and giving it such a highlight, I think this part of the story needs more attention and understanding from the fans.
This by far is my favorite bleach arc and Moment after rereading all the way up to the end of aizen this was so refreshing to experience for the first time. But the feelings of fear and decite brings me back to when aizen first turned on soul society and stopped ichigos Bankai with a finger
Great start it's a very good seen, another really good emotional scene to me is when Renji and Byakuya are fighting Äs Nödt and he uses Byakuya bankai against him
This scene and rangikus scene of her crying over Gin was so emotional 🥲they made me cry ..can’t wait for tybw I think yamas scene is going to make me cry too
This arc and that moment was hands down the most despair I've ever felt, even more than any other anime I've seen or even stuff I've gone through in real life, I swear I forgot I was a watcher, it felt like a bad dream, even till this day it feels hazy because I never wanted to see it again, I actually felt more shitty watching everything go down because I actually had something similar like that happen to me, the backstabbings, having to fight my friends and turning against me, seeing them look at me like I'm insane, up until the end where it felt like I had nothing left at all... this ark hit every spot for me and damn, I'd be lying if I said I didn't wish I could just lie down and die and give up, even now thinking this, hurts like hell, I actually thought it was all over for Ichigo, I literally yelled, "NO F****NG WAY THEY END THIS SERIES LIKE THIS, NOT AFTER ALL THIS F****NG TIME!" Man... I can just imagine how differently things would've been if they did end like that...
I saw that part.....well I of course finished every episodes.....(just watching it over and over..lol) This was an awesome scene especially when all of the Captains and the Lt..and Ikkaku came out see him up upon the skies....I started to cry....with happiness....especially when I saw Ikkaku....lol...
I don’t know if people connect with ichigo like I do since I see him as a everyman type of guy. So during the fullbring arc I cry so many times just of the stress and ichigo getting solitude I was screaming to give ichigo a damn break and the back stabbing broke me. Than he gain his power and gain all his hope when he saw rukia I cry again out of happiness
Arrancar asside this was my fave arc! Freakin spiderichigo rebounding off the bleeding ceiling! Fullbring suit for the win! pity it had a 2 minute shelf life. Straight up despair. and Killing intent. No other arc potrayed these traits from Ichigo. It broke the wall for sure.
One of my favorite heart breaking scenes is when orihime says goodbye to ichigo when she's taken to Las noches. I'd love to see a video on that moment.
I really hope that the anime expands on Ichigo and Orihime vs Yhwach fight, to give that despair-filled Ichigo moment some more meat to it. Maybe have Ichigo try *every* tactic in his book, cycling through all the tricks he has thanks to his triple-heritage, all his combos with Orihime, and have them seem to work at first, but then slowly but surely, they begin failing to harm Yhwach, systematically. But Ichigo claims he has always changed the future, he's conquered despair. And when Yhwach keeps stoking that fire, to see his hope even as Ichigo's efforts are in vain after him trying to explore every possible avenue and even begin to try and fight dirty, maybe, he could perhaps begin to laugh in denial, in despair...and then get the snot beaten out of him by the Quincy King. And finally we'd have that amazing panel of an half-conscious Ichigo, devoid of all plans and hope.
I just finished this arc a few weeks ago with the anime version. I never fully watched this arc back than in 2012, cuz back than I didn't have internet and I was reading the manga religiously when I would go to school on free time computer in 2012. But after fully watching this arc. This has got to be the most underrated arc in the series, it's insane how short it is compared to the other main arcs. But man does it make it worth the little time it has, making you even want more from the fullbringers. But when ginjo steals ichigo fullbring and the plot twist is revealed that ginjo is the mastermind of this arcs events. That's just so heartbreaking. Fake Ginjo actually seemed like a cool guy, and to see him betray ichigo with full context is so messed up. Uryu reaction when ginjo strikes down ichigo shouting nooo. Ichigo reaction to the only person in that moment he thought he could trust ginjo, and ginjo being the one behind everything that tsukishima been doing to him family and friends. Ichigo breaking down actually almost made me breakdown, even though I already knew the plot twist cuz I had finished the arc before, but seeing the full context to me almost made me cry. Truly amazing arc and an amazing villain ginjo.
Way back when I first saw and read Bleach, I remember not liking this ark because I always thought that it could've been shorter, as it was in the anime, but with time I came to love this arc. Also, a friend of mine once said that the reason she didn't like this arc was the lack of known characters appearing, maybe the lack of attachment for the characters plays a role against it's popularity.
Which scene should we talk about next? Drop your suggestion below and I'll pick one to do the next video on, and shout out the winner! In the meantime, what did you think of this scene in The Lost Agent Arc? Thanks everyone!
any Scene With White Ichigo
Still thinking about chad though :(
Ginjo did what ulquiorra tried to and for that he deserves a little bit of recognition.
Fullbringer arc is so slept on. People act like Kubo just had to write a psuedo filler arc to justify Ichigo getting his powers back but it's actually an amazing story...the raw emotion in this scene was crazy. Ichigo got mentally defeated here
Tite Kubo is the goat
Yass and the rain is always so symbolic
We all have a brother-Tsukishima
@@SemekiIzuio yh fr, that worked so well with the imagery of despair. i really felt bad for ichigo :(
You know my uncle Tsukishima?
@@timurestik8681 sorry to say, not anymore, he's gone and I gotta live on which I can't
You can just see the look of despair and hopelessness on his face when he comes to the realization that everything he loved was taken away and there's nothing he can do to stop it
Ichigo is the guy who’s always standing strong and never shows weakness. Seeing him break down in tears was a very sobering sight.
The Lost Agent Arc: one of the most underrated arcs ever.
Well the build up was kinda weak. I did enjoy it but as it's been said theres better competition and considering this arc was so short, might as well been a filler. I personally wanted more slice of life as mature ichigo with the rest of his friends but we get very little development from them.
no its not underrated and stop using that word ffs
@@VbrSoro didn't know you had the authority to tell people to stop using words. Oh right you don't so get over it
This is definitely one of my favorite scenes in Bleach because it shows vulnerability and helplessness in the MC that you hardly ever see in a Shounen Protagonist. Also, seeing Orihime's reaction to Ichigo crying and her contemplating what is right was also great.
Not my favorite bleach arc but I really loved how this arc messed with Ichigo mentally. Tsukashima is a terrifying villain.
Reading this in the manga was one thing.... but seeing it animated and seeing Ichigo collapse on his hands and cry?
Man.......
This is Ichigo’s, byakuya in the rain with all hope lost equivalent since it’s raining in both it’s just more mentality destroyed than psychically.
This scene made me shed tears! It’s truly emotional when ichigo loses almost everything and gets his powers back at the very last minute.
It was a great scene. Kubo excelled in this arc, especially this chapter. It showed Kubo's directing skills The thing I've always loved in Bleach manga.
A lot of people look down on this arc but I thought it was a great comedown from all the fighting and action to a more emotional-invested storyline of Ichigo unknowingly teaming up with an enemy organization and seeing how it plays out
Love all the lost agent ark, it is such a shame that most people downplay it so much
Probably cause most people don't like a main character that's weak and helpless which is understandable but I feel that characters like that are super well written and realistic.
It flips towards him and breaks the ground and fuck man
The awe, terror and oh shit emotions it gave me, my brothers and our friends is insane
No other scene came quite as close when we were 16 years old and watching this monster tear apart Ulquiorra
Have you made a video on that fight?
Truly painful scene. Orihime's inner dialogue in the moment really fits the situation.
From a psychological standpoint this is by far the best ark Kudo ever made. It's also the first time I felt like the main characters had actually matured which was very refreshing.
I know im not alone in this but the lost agent arc is by far my favorite especially in the anime. My favorite intro too
Lost agent arc is the most beautiful arc for sure.
The emotion, the audience's immersion in Ichigo's struggle that works so well. One of the best scenes, easily.
Thank you Mr Tommo for your content. You truly keep Bleach alive with your videos. Keep up your hard work brother!
Absolutely loved this scene it’s made me cry multiple times
Seeing Ichigo break down like that hit me on a deep level
"Give it back"
That sent a chill down my spine.
I immediately knew that Ichigo was saved just by Rukia's soulful expression.
Dude I just finished listening to the Mayuri Perninda fight and you drop this? We eating good today 😎
This scene was absolutely heartbreaking and Ginjo and Tsukishima taunting during was so infuriating.
NO MATTER WHAT your feelings on the arc are…..this is one of THE MOST IMPORTANT moments for the entire series.
kubo art designs and how he coneys the emotions through the characters is always plus
I was once in that state of mind, thinking that I've lost everything but there's always that glimmer of hope, I'm so glad that Bleach and many other things got me through that tough time in my life
This whole arc felt very sufficating and anxious and somehow i loved it. Its not the best arc but it was a good change that i wasnt expecting it.
This is why it's my favorite arc. The characters are flawless and everything just falls into place. Best arc in my opinion
Mrtommo at it again, perfect insight
what it takes to make normal people give up: be stronger than them
what it takes to make Ichigo give up: use an ability that even viewers have a hard time understanding to turn everyone he knows and cares about against him while being so vaguely malicious that you're legitimately terrifying on an existential level despite just being some hipster in suspenders
Your video is my highlight of the day thank you MrTommo 🔝 Bleach is also my fav anime/manga^^ much love goes out for you 💞
You are a sick man Mr. Tommo, monetizing Ichigo's suffering!
2:05 Seens like im always against the norm, 'cause i love it!!! Every second of it, it's awesome. Lost Agent/Fullbring arc is the best arc of Bleach for me :D
Fullbring arc is the least arc where Ichigo receive a physical damage but is the one where Ichigo get mentally destroyed
This is the moment that made me truly love Bleach, so I definitely agree with it being the first scene to analyse.
I completely agree that is one of the most memorable moments in bleach
I think this arc is my favourite for many reasons from the drawing and style everything i love this arc
Dude ichigo n his dad by his mom grave during substitute shinigami arc, dats d scene dat really sold me on bleach when it was startin out
The reveal of Ginjou’s true motives and then when Ichigo thinks his father and Kisuke have also been turned against him was so good.
Your videos make me love bleach more and more every time I watch them
This was a powerful scene, and it easily hurt me more than when Ulquiorra reached for orihime before turning to dust. Those two scenes are easily for me the saddest for me
Fullbring arc is a guilty pleasure of mine in Bleach for scenes just like this.
And the Music that plays 😭😭😭 ❤️❤️❤️
Just finish up Bleach manga again, and there were some concept art of Shiba Clan house back in Soul Society arc, that has ended up as inspiration for Soul King.
I know it’s silly but at 11:18 I imagine Tommo channeling his inner Johnny Young Bosch!
@@dungeonmaster3464 Ah, makes sense. It’s been a while since I’ve read it.
I look forward to the cry of despair against Juha Bach when Ichigo realizes how hopeless his situation is.
The best moment of Bleach, I just love it, it's my favorite arc.
I always thought this was a cementing moment too. Ty for the vid
This by far is my favorite bleach arc and Moment after rereading all the way up to the end of aizen this was so refreshing to experience for the first time. But the feelings of fear and decite brings me back to when aizen first turned on soul society and stopped ichigos Bankai with a finger
One of the best scenes and mrtommo bringing the goods as always
Great start it's a very good seen, another really good emotional scene to me is when Renji and Byakuya are fighting Äs Nödt and he uses Byakuya bankai against him
This scene and rangikus scene of her crying over Gin was so emotional 🥲they made me cry ..can’t wait for tybw I think yamas scene is going to make me cry too
I can just imagine Ulquiorra looking in and being like "tsk, should have thought of that one"
Tsukishima was the only person Ichigo wanted to kill in the entire story. All other antagonists he would rather stop than try to kill.
Love it. Do the series please. Next video: "When Soi Fon was at her most vulnerable" please.
Bro seeing Ichigo break down and cry did something to me 😢 😭
One of my favorite heart breaking scenes is when orihime says goodbye to ichigo when she's taken to Las noches. I'd love to see a video on that moment.
I think when he looks back at his dad and urahara and says " you too?". I was like.. OMG.
I didn’t like the early part of the arch, but when it got toward the end I started to like it. And this scene made the entire arc for me.
My favorite mcs worst moment😭 But it gave a good insight to his state of mind.
Babe wake up new mrtommo2304 vid dropped
Way back when I first saw and read Bleach, I remember not liking this ark because I always thought that it could've been shorter, as it was in the anime, but with time I came to love this arc.
Also, a friend of mine once said that the reason she didn't like this arc was the lack of known characters appearing, maybe the lack of attachment for the characters plays a role against it's popularity.
Honestly this is the BEST arc. It Is the best paced, best drawn, most natural and just so dark
