Nice video , they should really think of giving black screws and change the hex for torx, those small hex strip to quick.
Black torx screws would be perfect. But we can always change them ourselves. ✌️

Great vid man! really helpful when I installed mine. Do you have any issues on pressure building up on your gas tank after installing this? Mines been building up pressure and every time I open my gas cap there's a pretty strong swooosh of pressure. been hit in the eye with a healthy dose of gasoline one time.
@@JuanRoxas15 Thank you! Yes mine builds pressure too. Nothing crazy though. Just a small swoosh. I’m planning to remove the EVAP canister in hopes that it minimizes the pressure.

0:42 hello, great video. Was hoping you could tell me the dimension of the spacers. Mines were missing when I bought kit (long story but supplier couldn’t help) was wondering if you could give me dimensions to see if I could replacements or use something similar to do same job. Thanks for your help in advance.
You can still install the gas cap if you don’t have the spacers. As long as you have the hex nuts. The spacers are just there to make the install easier.
I have this fuel cap, actually considering getting the sw Motech tank ring, do you know if the two are compatible

Did you notice fuel condensation at the top of the Spider cover ? I installed mine yesterday and noticed today some residue around the cover and it stays, is it normal venting ?
I noticed that with the Spider cap I get more tank pressure compared to stock when I open the cap. As if its not venting as good as the stock. Thats why I want to remove the evap canister in hopes that it will help. But yes it does leave a bit of fuel residue on the cap. Nothing crazy though.
I believe you should have left the spacers in there before fixing the upper cap just in case not to lose them
@@khalidi001 If I left the spacers in there the cap would not sit all the way down. It’s been a while since I worked on the gas cap so I can’t remember if I could reverse the spacers or not. The spacers are there to make the installation easier. It can technically be done without them if lost. ✌️

Do you get more tank pressure when you use one of these? I replaced my stock cap immediately after I bough the bike with the TWM cap. I'm getting a big whoosh after the bike warms up properly and I open the cap. Can't tell if the bike has a problem or the cap is messed up somehow. The dealer says it's normal but I have a few other bikes, none of them have that issue and they all have TWM caps.
RSV4’s tend to build pressure in the tank. Even with the stock cap. But with the aftermarket cap, I get more pressure than before. I will remove the EVAP canister and see if that helps a bit. But it’s normal though..
@@ALFAVITAGA Thanks. I'll remove my EVAP too. I had issues with it on the Panigale V4.
mine came with a small breather hose (R6). You know why is that?
@@lices All gas caps have a breather. The difference with Aprilia is that they don’t use a hose on the stock cap, but a valve type breather.

Were you able to find tank pad (carbon look) that goes on Factory models, between number 54 on tank and gas cap?
Yes! I installed it. I will upload an on board ride video in a few hours and you will see the carbon tank decal. ✌️

If I didn’t need the key for the gas cap I’d probably leave it in the ignition returning to a space where my bike once was after paying for fuel ⛽️
I do leave my key on the ignition when I fill gas, but I fill while being on my bike. If I choose to walk away I take my key with me and probably lock the handlebars too ✌️
