I'm always in awe at the sheer production quality of these guides. You would have thought these guides were made by a large professional crew that are on payroll. Awesome video!
Haha thank you Elcid, that's very kind of you! I'm having a lot of fun learning new small editing tricks, and trying to keep up the quality of my edits, so comments like this are always highly appreciated! Thank you, and glad you liked this video too :)
Watched this video- Immediately tried doing the heist myself, succeeded on my first try. Needless to say, great guide and thank you very much! I know this one has been in the works for a bit now, as I may or may not have binge-watched all of your stealth guides and saw you mention this one coming up in some old comments! Excited for what's next, these guides are always super useful!
Aaah very nice, that's amazing to hear Riley, thank you so much! Very happy to hear that the guide is already helping :) And indeed, this one had been requested a lot in the past, and even more in recent weeks, so I just had to increase its priority, and get it out ASAP! Definitely planning on making one for every heist (in order of popularity), as well as many other interesting videos!
I love this heist so much, easily in my Top 3, the Stealth is way more fun than loud. But I find it on beyond OVK very difficult because you cannot destroy the cameras.
Great heist for sure! As usual I don't know what my TOP3 is, but I can confidently say this one is great, and the reward isn't bad either, which is nice! Interestingly enough, I've never played it on OVK or lower, because by the time this heist came out, I was already playing the highest difficulty only, so I never had a chance to check it out on OVK! :D
Thanks gabmoita! Glad you're looking forward to this one :) Enjoy it whenever you have time! It should definitely help with whatever questions you may have had a few days ago when you attempted it!
@@Marcmb So is it stupid me and my buddy couldnt stealth this because the guards were too strong and kept surviving shotguns, but we switched to the thanatos and we did it first try.
@@edwardking9359 Well yeah no shit, they can still see bodies like crazy. And I mean as I said, failed about 20 times doing it with locos, beat it first try with one of us using a thanatos.
:D Those are some high standards AstronomicFailure, very kind of you! Hopefully I was able to teach you something new :) Maybe a set-up for some shotgun-launches, or some useful trip mine placements, or maybe the palm tree shortcut!
Glad to hear this one will help Amy, enjoy! I tried to explain everything very thoroughly, so hopefully it clears up any doubts you had about any part of the heist :)
As a loud only heister that is trying out stealth, I'm starting to realize what I've been missing out on for the 4 months I've been loud only. Thank you very much for the stealth guides, you are a godsend!
Another excellent stealth guide! Scarface Stealth was the last big struggle I had to try and get my Death Wish mask, so much so I went "sod it" and did it loud. After watching this, got it on DSOD first go, though I did get very unlucky at the end with a third guard walking into the room before Sosa's, and taking a shot. Managed to sprint up and get Sosa killed (emptying the entire shotgun and cavity into him), then narrowly got the yayo to the van before the assault started. "A silent kill" says the butcher, who was apparently watching a different heist. Still, it was heaps of fun, and I look forward to the next vid!
Oooh that's amazing, very good to hear Ordinary Bell! Glad you're liking the stealth guides (thank you) and congratulations on pulling it off on the first try! Those bonus guards walking in are very rare, but often unforgiving when they happen. Very cool that you still managed to defeat the tanky Sosa! And yup, very funny how the Butcher says her usual comment, even though you're not being sneaky at all :p
To make the rewire skip easier, one could use the Mouse Wheel to do the interaction, though you would need a mod that enables press to hold for that to be possible. I actually found out about the skip by accident since i started using MW regularly as my interact button.
Very true yes! Mouse wheel is always very strong in these scenarios. Sadly I don't have any mods for automatic Press2Hold, but for people using such mods, this would indeed work very well!
Hahahahah yesss!!! So funny that someone thought of the same thing. Every time I miss that throw, and the bag stays on top of the wall, I think to myself "Ah no wait, that's the Counterfeit throw..." :D
I had encountered the rewire skip before but thought it was just a glitch that happens occasionally. Knowing I can force it became immensely helpful as the "What? You Want Me To Dance?" achievement has been quite elusive to me so far. I got it today with the help of that knowledge, using the hack time to launch guards into the water instead of wondering where the wire boxes might be. Keep being awesome, one always learns something from your stealth videos.
Hi there HeVi! Personally, I'm always very slow/calm with my interactions, so I had never seen it until I saw it mentioned on Reddit. Really amazing trick! Congratulations on getting the speedrun achievement, and I'm glad I was able to help with that! I'll do my best to keep it up, always aiming to teach new things even to the most experienced heisters! Thank you for the nice words :)
These videos are so cool and informative because you really learn a jack of all trades approach. I mean I never use tripmines, and very rarely find the cam access helpful, but with the explanation here it becomes obvious and almost dumb not to. Love the content
That's great to hear, Thonatmo! I always like reading that my videos are teaching some new things to heisters, but the way you're getting information from it is great. Glad you're enjoying the content, thank you very much! :D
Glad you liked it Warum, thank you! The sneaky/pacifist approach is always my go-to strategy. So much faster and less risky, plus you can also get rid of some free guards while waiting for the 90s hack. Good luck, whenever you have time to give this strategy a try! :)
I watched this video for 2 minutes and then I had all the info i needed, the exterior and interior guards. One has no pagers the other one does. Did this heist in under 45 minutes on my first try going quiet, making it 100% easier than going loud! Thank you!
Thanks to this guide i managed to solo this for the first time. I still couldnt believe that i just did that when im still moving the loot bags. You just made someone's day bro
Scarface Mansion is one of my favorite heists, but I sometimes ignore choosing it because of the amount of guards and having to sneak by everyone for the circuit boxes. I'm sure this guide will be fun to watch when I have the time.
That's perfect then! Some of the things I included for this guide are many examples to get rid of the guards quickly and safely, as guess as the option of skipping the rewires, completing the 90s hack without needing to rewire any circuit boxes. Take your time (watch it whenever you have time, no need to rush it), and enjoy! :p
Underrated trick for stealthing maps with murkywater, gangsters, and other high health enemies: BRING SHURIKENS! Hypothetically, if you’re holding a shotgun and a guard needs to be killed in the spot he stands IMMEDIATELY, quick throwables such as the shuriken and cards are amazing tools but the shuriken has an amazing upside. If a high-health guard is alerted, toss the shuriken right at them. It has the poison effect on them, and instead of risking retaliation or collateral dealing with the guard with a gun or melee, the poison stuns them and often time kills them swiftly. BRING. SHURIKENS. unless you run hacker but i’m giving love for my burglar users out there, dying species
Very very good point and analysis, Brian! Actually, I recently (last week) made a video about Tombstone shells for shotguns, and the reason why they are the best for stealth. They apply just like Shurikens in all these situations you described, and they are amazing for this exact same reason!
@@MarcmbThrowables and the slight buffs burglar brings is the only reason hacker is not my go-to stealth deck However getting tombstone requires you to kill 200 enemies with the poison *effect* (not the weapon) which is absolute bullshit in my opinion, but I’ll check that out too
@@ya_homeboy_prophet I got the achievement a long time ago, but I'm 99% sure that even if the enemy dies in 1 hit, as long as the weapon has poison effect, it will count for the achievement (at least for the Syringe melee weapon). As for the choice of perk deck, it's always a personal choice in the end, so no worries! :D
Thank you very much, raven! Glad you liked this one too, much appreciated :) The palm tree shortcut can be very convenient in specific situations, make sure to keep it in mind always :p
Haha thank you very much PyRo, that's very kind of you! I have waaay more subs than I ever expected, so I'm very happy to be here, but still I'm glad that you think so! Thanks a lot for the nice words :)
Now I don't have to wait for public stealth games when I mastered stealth :D (It's gotta be long since the only heist that has more than 4 guards I can stealth is FWB now)
Glad to hear this will help Fox, enjoy! :D Definitely take your time with this one. Clear the outside methodically, and place your trip mines well once inside, and you will succeed!
Interesting! I'm not much of a movie person myself, so I've never seen the movie... but that sounds like perfect timing to enjoy the video right after the original movie! :p
@@Marcmb I am not a movie person too, but had to watch it just because I contacted with the mansion in PayDay 2 too much, and have Scarface as an AI teammate for about two months already. Turns out this game is not just a regular FPS shooter heh? ;D
hehehe finally i’ve been waiting for this!! might sound unfair but can you do diamond heist next? it really is another heist i’m having trouble with! i really appreciate it marc!
Hey Kaan! I assume you mean the Diamond Heist, because I think you mentioned it in the past together with Scarface. As *@Nick* mentions I already have one for THE Diamond, but the heist names are very confusing :p As for the Diamond Heist, it's definitely on the list and it'll be done _soon-ish,_ but there's 3-4 others that have higher priority at the moment... however, I have the entirety of August off, so I'll start writing the script for a few of them, and planning what I want to teach about each one, to get some work done ASAP!
Really good guide! As well as your other guides, this actually gave me a WHOLE lot more knowledge to the heist itself. And I thought it was really amazing of myself to find out about being able to start the call through the wall at the balcony.. However, most of my failed runs were due to a guard inside instantly detecting me because they were around a corner, I'm not really sure what I can do against that, I've tripmined behind me, so I'm sure no guard would be sneaking up from behind, my issue is the corners, most prominently like the one at 19:39 , at one point the moment I got in there I failed instantly because of that corner!
Thanks coda! Glad you liked the information on this one :) Sorry for the late response too, I've been really prioritizing the video about the new perk! As for that corner that you mention, that one is indeed quite a run-killer. Any blind corner in PAYDAY comes with a risk (most of the time you're fine, but every now and then it completely catches you...) and that one's a great example. As you can see from 19:35, the first time I _check_ that corner I try to do it with an angle as wide as possible, giving me plenty of time to retreat if there's a guard coming at the worst possible time. However, even after checking, there's still a chance the guard will appear there right after I check. If you wanna play it extra extra safe for those risky corners, you can stand at a safe-ish close distance, and wait for Sixth Sense. Alternatively, for the fast-paced approach, you should be aware of which trip mines you have connecting to that corner, to establish connections that are safe... this will give you a lot of information before you check that corner! Long explanation, but hopefully it helped a bit :p
I appreciate that, Not a Nemesis main, thank you! Happy to hear you're still enjoying the videos, even while taking an indifinite break from the game :)
Excellent as always, and you always teach me something new. Did not know you could skip the rewiring. The shortcuts up to second floor are invaluable too.
Thanks a lot Calza, much appreciated! Glad you liked this one too :) The rewire skip makes the runs much more fun (less tedious), and the roof shortcuts are very convenient. Enjoy!!! :D
Hi Jordan! Understandably, it can be very intimidating, with all the guards outside, and the tight corners inside. Hopefully the different approaches, and multiple examples, help you with it. Good luck!! :)
The Pier area is actually really good for body disposal, even for non-Shotgun users, mainly the patrol path where enemies go out onto the dock. I’ve done it myself a few times.
Yup! They get so close to the border of the pier, that pretty much any weapon would be able to knock them over. Definitely the most convenient out of the 3 areas, although I personally always stealth with a shotgun because the physics are so cool :D
Hi again omar! That is the Locomotive 12G. Here's my weapon + attachments in a timestamped link, if you wanna check: th-cam.com/video/KDB0dR8ku9s/w-d-xo.html
I’ve been wondering this every video I watch from you, do you get in a call with your fellow heisters and just record the game sounds? Things like ECM rushes seem to need a lot of coordination or have you and your friends gotten used to using game chat? Also it’s nice to see a video from you every once in a while. The Payday TH-camr community seems to be a lot smaller now and it’s nice to see a consistent uploader that posts quality videos every time.
Aww that's so kind of you ElyK, thanks a lot for the very nice words! Glad you're enjoying my videos, I appreciate it a lot :) As for your question at the start of the comment, we do indeed use only the ingame chat, without any kind of voice chat. There was one exception however: the recent GGC "semi-rush" was so complex, that we did all our practice and recorded runs while being on voice chat (but as you say, I separated it from the ingame sounds, and included only the game sounds).
Haha this one will definitely be included! Missing a moving target would be somewhat understandable, but the guy just stopped in place, and I still miss him.... 10/10 aim
Perfect Moment, i was searching something to watch, nice shots with the shotgun, probably my favorite video of yours:) Very Informative, As i said in a heist i don't remember the name, "Very informative, You have a special touch to make it fun and entretaining to watch, usually these types of videos make me bored". So that's a fact, good day or night wherever you are!
Haha that's perfect timing, juan! This one is quite long too, since there was so much to explain... hopefully you can enjoy it! *EDIT:* Ooh I see your edit now, thanks for the very kind words! Glad you liked the shots, and happy to hear the video was entertaining. Much appreciated, and good day/night to you too! :)
I have done this heist about 100 times on DSOD now, and my times usually range from 6-7 minutes with ease i could even probably get somewhere in between 5 minutes, namely if you have the hacker perk deck you can really easily beat this heist, especially if you're using a shotgun since you can launch the bodies when they're infront of a camera or in general launch the bodies into water using a shotgun with buck ammo, trip mines aren't really necessary or needed, sure they are a nice thing to have but if you're experienced enough you don't need them. The Easiest and most simplistic approach is just to kill 2 guards near the stairs after you opened the office. I'm not entirely sure why people struggle at this heist, i would say its really easy considering you have outside area filled with non-pager enemies. I haven't watched the entire video yet, but i already know enough to state my opinion on this heist, since its my favourite and im thankfull that you made a tutorial about it so newer players could learn something from it. Whenever i see a newer player at the game, at any time when im playing online i tend to help show them the most efficient way of doing said heist, not all of them listen, some purposely ruin stealth runs, but i still try to help newer players regardless. [ I am Currently Infamy 87 and i have 1245/1246 achievements and i main playing as Scarface (Tony) ]
That's very nice Spyper! 7 minutes definitely sounds like a decent time to complete this heist on average, although runs can go a couple minutes higher if you get unlucky with your coke search. You can definitely complete it easily without mines (especially when you get lucky, and find the recorder within your first three cokes), but the mines help a lot with consistency whenever you need to check all 6 cokes to finally get the recording device! In my experience, Hacker saves a lot of time when clearing the first 4 guards (since you can do it carelessly even there's a cam in that area), but for the rest Yakuza would probably be faster. Both are very good choices! Also definitely agree with that being the easiest way to get through the pre-office room, so that was my first recommendation on that section! Glad to hear that, as an experienced player, you appreciate these guides for the community. Thank you, and thanks for watching! :)
I genuinely forgot about payday 2 for a while and was playing pdth again, it’s good to see that your videos are still well edited! I got a mod for a FPS boost so I can play more comfortably now, and this heist was one of my favorites to stealth. Will see what amazing tips you have to offer yet again marcmb! Will try getting back into pd2 tomorrow! Thanks.
Hi FaDon, it's been a while! PD:TH is a very good game too, I would probably play both if I had more time :D Glad you're still enjoying the content, and hopefully that FPS mod lets you play PAYDAY2 with satisfactory quality!
Thank you very much Rogue, I appreciate it a lot! Glad that you're finding the guides useful, and liking the videos in general. Really thank you!! I'll definitely still be around for PAYDAY3, and in the future I might start making videos with voice-over (rather than text-only) depending on what everyone wants. Although I want to at least finish the series of stealth guides with only text, because many heisters are enjoying this approach so far!
Very nice, Klasick! This one is also one of my favorite heists, very unique and good reward. Glad the guide will help, that's good to hear, thank you! :)
I remember when i first played this heist and had no idea how i would beat this heist stealth, since there were so many guards, but i didnt realise that 70% of them were pagerless lol
Yup it's a bit intimidating the very first time! Since guards in most other heists have pagers. But once you figure out that they are pagerless, the heist becomes one of the best and most unique :D
Theres another way to get to the office: to the right of the main/front entrence is a door, sometimes with a cam above it. Opening this door gives you a staircase to the top and right next to the office with there sometimes being only 1 guard being there. You should try that route.
Hey Alexander! There is indeed that alternative route, but I didn't even acknowledge it in the video because it's best to leave it always closed! There are 2 guards in there, which are completely locked in a tiny space but are free to roam outside once you open both doors. Not only that, but after getting through those 2, you also have to deal with the 2 in the usual room, so it's not that good!
@@Marcmb oh yeah i noticed that too, when i played it on higher dificulties. On lower ones there was always only one guard there and the way was pretty cheesy, but yeah, guess there is a diffence in stealth on higher difficulties (other than reinforced cams of course)
Ooh that makes more sense when you look at it like that! I've personally never done the heist on anything lower than DS (I like going in with the highest number of guards from my very first playthrough), so I never know how many guards there are on lower difficulties. I see your point of view now!
@@Marcmb well, im a moderate player (about 50h in the game) so im currently playing on difficulties like overkill or lower (on stealth id like to take higher difficulties since not much changes) so yeah. Once I reach lvl 100 ill try some really sick skill sets (crit, dodge, bersker, etc). I play it mostly casually with sometimes some sweat involved.
That's very reasonable yup, no worries! Back in the day, I also used to start in lower difficulties to get used to things... but now I only enjoy the highest difficulty! It just comes with time :D
Hi there Syntriecal! I do remember yup :D Lately I've been getting a lot of requests for this one, so I decided to push it up! Hopefully it'll clear up any questions that you had about the heist, and help on your attempts :)
@@Marcmb yeah, I watched 2 time your video of framing frame day 3, still don't remember your insanely good tripmine spots. Now I just find the cavou and spam tripmines near it and the corridors I need to cross xD
Haha that's a decent approach too! As long as you keep an eye on the relevant trip mines (and any guards moving through them) to know whether it's safe or not, then that will work just fine! :D
Yo,i know im late to this but your videos is so fucking good. I love how detailed and straight to the point + helpful your guides are. Im a loud gamer myself but your vids make me want to try and go stealth atleast once, that's just how good they are. Awesome job, hope you can keep doing more quality contents like this. Have a good day!
Hey PL4Y5TAT10N! That is great to hear, thank you! Sometimes I worry that I'm adding too much detail, so it's nice to see when heisters appreciate it! Especially when I can bring loud heisters a little bit closer to stealth :) I'll do my best to keep it up with my content! Good day to you as well :D
I tried doing this a few times this morning (read: 20 times or so) and I just couldn't kill the guards, get the right rotations, or sometimes even use the shotgun to fling them. I managed to get up to the phone part as my furthest, but a guard saw some dead ones (ran out of body bags). I'll keep trying it, but man...you do it so effortlessly!
Best of luck, Forbidden Exceed! Sorry for the late response (I've been away during these last 3 months), but hopefully your luck has been better during these past few weeks! Getting to the phone is already very good progress. If you're struggling with the guards outside, I would recommend attempting the pacifist approach that I showcase at the end of the video: it's not much harder, and it has a lot of advantages!
There's also a bug with the guards on the balcony (a door to the left of Sosa's office), which allows you to leave some bodies on the right side. I don't know how consistent it is but it worked for me two times in a row. Basically the guards on the balcony may see bodies and get alerted but since they cannot find the path to the bodies (because the door to the balcony is closed) they won't sound the alarm. They will just stay in the alerted state and won't do anything. And obviously if you open the door they will go to the bodies, so just leave it closed. I searched through the comment section but didn't found any mentions of this bug.
Very interesting, Alex! You could certainly do that by using the pathfinding glitch (similar to the Counterfeit strategy) but I personally don't see many benefits to it, because that section is never used in most runs! Really interesting as a proof-of-concept though :)
Hi Dreamer! That is a very early comment yes, very nice! I included a very important tip about trip mines for the transition from tape recorder to phone. Hopefully that's useful! :D
Hope you and your friend had fun completing it, TomatoCouch! Even though you don't need the guide anymore, hopefully you learnt some cool tricks to make your future runs smoother! :)
One thing I do consistently for this heist that hasn’t bitten me in the ass is kill everyone outside. I just place an ecm jammer and sprint around murdering everyone. Then I use my second ecm to clear bodies from view of the cameras and then I start the hack. While the hack is going I clear bodies from the windows/doors that open up after I open shutters. In about 15 stealth play-throughs I’ve had no problems with inside guards going outside and actually just finished this heist doing the exact method. I also bag ernesto sosa’s body and put it in the van for fun
That could definitely work yup, as long as you have enough bags (11 max) to remove all corpses in risky places. The chance for a guard from inside to notice something before the shutters are open is almost zero; it's only a real risk after the shutters open. As for Sosa, that's 100% the right play :p
@@Marcmb yeah I take primary body bags with a single ecm secondary and pockets for camera fuck ups. And then I buy the body bag asset, that gives me 11. Only fuck up I’ve had now was a guard on terrace seeing dead guards at pool
That's definitely what I was expecting yup! Best setup for Scarface is for sure 11 body bags, to be safe. The terrace guard situations are rare, but they happen sometimes, so just in case I mentioned in the guide that it's important to hide those ASAP :)
Finally, it has arrived! I have completed it once before, but didn't manage to loot everything (which I am obsessed with) due to poor hiding of outside guards. I also wanted to say I really really hate using trip mines. I just find them too cumbersome to place and I feel like because they kill the tension at least 72.8% of the fun goes away with that tension.
It's finally here, yup! Lately it had been requested quite a lot, so I decided to prioritize it :D Proper hiding of the corpses outside is key to get all the loot, otherwise you get a chain reaction sooner or later. I gave a lot of tips and set-ups for that, so hopefully those help! As for the trip mines, the best way to place them is at the end of a sprint-jump, channeling the trip mine while on mid-air. That is very smooth, and feels quite good! They do feel a bit cheaty though, allowing you to keep guards almost permanently marked, like some sort of "wall hack"...!
Hmm it's true that corpses can be spotted on that side, but it's mostly just through a couple of specific windows, and only when the patrolling guards stop right in front of them (depending on exact distance and angle). Leaving the corpses laying around there is always a death sentence, but as long as you launch them well over the wall, I've never had any issues!
I don't kill guards (just the ones near the dock), as it's a waste of time and bags imo, and usually leads to restarting the heist a few times (a camera, a pager on the roof, a guard shoots, etc.). For an experienced player, moving around the map is so easy even with all those guards.
Same for me, Un cordobés sin intro! Glad we agree on that :) In fact, I showed all the killing tips for newer players (who are more suited to that kind of playstyle, even if the heist takes longer) but for the run showcase I went for the full pacifist approach. So much better! :D
The soundtrack for this one is so good! Break the rules, amazing song... hopefully you enjoy the video Hugh, most of the video has that song as background music! :p
Haha yup, that happens! I believe he has 3,000 health without his armor, which is quite a bit for stealth. If you miss your shots and alert him, it's gonna be painful!
rewatching now that i bought the legacy collection, A) even while NOT eating this video is fucking hilarious, but anyways, B) at 8:00 that is a SMOOTH fuckin shot, u shot him perfectly over the camera, not even an actual person on the cameras would've seen that kill lmao
Welcome back to this video, Stevie! Glad you enjoyed it once again :p I rewatched that scene, and that was indeed a beautiful shot! The trajectory for the guard when he stops on that specific spot is beautiful :D
Forgive me if it's shown and for such a late ask, but what was your build and weapon attachments? I found that the guards often took 2-3 shots to kill at mid-range with any shotgun. Even the judge. I just came back to playing the game for the first time since like 2014? I stopped playing whenever they updated guards to respawn if you answer 4 pagers. I was also upset coming back that you can't use dominate and joker to get 2 free pagers anymore
Hey faffler! No worries, all questions are OK :) Since the damage fall-off patch, you need very high damage for shotguns to kill at long range. I personally use High Value Target, and Berserker (with either Frenzy, or molotovs). My full build is in the video description!
Very nice, geteriking! Personally I would've never found it by myself, because I generally take my time with these interactions: not a big fan of button mashing / fast reactions! :p
Haha, good to hear this will help, brandon! It's unfortunate when you always fail halfway through...! I guess the part with the coke and the phone is giving you trouble? Make sure to check out the trip mine placements, and the example clips of how to use them to their full potential: that will help a lot!
Hi brandon! That is the Locomotive 12G. Here's my weapon + all its attachments in a timestamped link, if you wanna check: th-cam.com/video/KDB0dR8ku9s/w-d-xo.html
That's definitely an option too! I tend to avoid that because the guard is stationary (so often a non-issue), and I've had issues in the past where a guard comes up while I'm answering the pager. But if it's working for you, it's a perfectly valid choice!
@@Marcmb I usually check behind him to make sure it’s safe, check around to make sure he’s alone and launch him towards the chairs by the wall, it can be a bit risky though yes
With all those trip mines you'd be better off detonating them and blowing up the house to skip the mission completely, *if* of course terrain destruction was in the game
That would be really cool haha! And it's even worse in Framing Frame where I use all 14 trip mines, rather than just ~7. In general, environmental damage would be a great feature, especially for ECM rushing!
Payday 2 Tryhard edition: 14 tripmines randomly on walls stolen coke , vault emtpy , usb guard doesnt respond , same guy on 4 diffrent radio voices. Guard: Seems legit to me. I mean.. How else would u done stealth? tbh ive never seen stealth movies/films its always Aggressive. But godamn ur underrated, Locations , tips , tricks , even picture remaining time , skills to use , willing to restart more than once to show fails, problems u might done all the time. Without u Society might just google some shitty made steam forum guides. Man u save time, offshore account.
You bring up a very good point, BBQ! For PAYDAY3, it would be neat if guards were able to notice these things, and investigate around them or reinforce security. Maybe even give the player a meter/timer until stealth fails unavoidably, if they notice too many suspicious things. Finally, glad you liked the contents & structure of the guide, and thank you for the kind words! I appreciate it a lot :)
Hi Blockfan! This jump used to be very easy, but they messed with the collision of the ledge, and nowadays it's a bit tricky. Whenever you land on the ledge, make sure you jump again FAST, to get onto the roof. If you don't jump quickly, you're gonna phase through the ledge, and fall back to the floor... Let me know if this helps!
I usually bring a rifle or shotgun and shoot every thing I see and it works and if you have a ? On the mansion and it doesn’t turn into a ! You can leave the body there it won’t trigger the alarm
That's very risky, but if you get lucky and it works out, it's quite fast! Doesn't really save time compared to the pacifist approach though, since rushing the USB guy is faster (and safer) than killing everyone!
@@Marcmb actually most of the times its usually fine generally when i go loud scarface i kill everyone and most of the times noone sees much of course sometimes i wait for a better spot for the body but msot of the times its safe
While I agree that for loud it can feel like the alarm is taking forever to go off, when you need to stealth for ~8-10 minutes (or 15-20 for new lobbies), those bodies outside are bound to get spotted at some point :p And the worst part is that, if you get a chain reaction, any enemy who is killed after 3 seconds of being alerted has a 10% chance of firing his weapon. Definitely way too risky for me!
@@Marcmb also i realised the control phase takes longer the more you are into the stealth part when in sosas office takes about 2 minutes 30 seconds when in the laptop hacking it takes about 20-15 seconds
That's absolutely correct Dark, yup! I didn't find it very useful to mention because you can't really afford to have corpses in camera view anyway, and for loot moving most of the time there wouldn't even be any cameras in the way. However you're 100% correct yes!
@@MyUsersDark It's definitely cool to mention yup! It's certainly an information that's good to have. Unfortunately it didn't come to mind while editing the video because it has no impact at all on the gameplay haha :D
@@Marcmb YAYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY I FINNALY PASS MARCK SOOOOOOOOOO THANKS U AFTER 2 YEARS I DID THAT THANKS JUST BIG FUCKING THANKS U “I did it on console and now I have 100% of achievements”
Good video Marc, but you are missing one thing. The side room with the two guards that is connected to the upper main room by Ernesto’s office. Or maybe you just didn’t put it in because time, idk.
Hi Chandler, good point! I didn't mention it on purpose, because it's so irrelevant! You could open it and move through it, but that increases the number of guards which might occasionally patrol outside, giving you more problems. You could maybe consider killing the two guards inside, but then you still have 2 more guards to worry about, in the pre-office room. Overall that staircase is just a waste of time and/or pagers, so I recommend keeping it closed, and following my suggestions which rely on other things! :D
When I start to play Payday 2 this was the first mission I play and master for 2 weeks xD so f hard but a lot of fun. Excelent video, a lot of work here :D now I want to see that ECM Rush ;D
Oh hi GVZ, new profile picture! Almost didn't recognize you :p This heist is huge for a new heister, and that must have been quite a challenge, certainly. Glad you liked the video, thank you! :)
Wait, I just noticed your PFP went back to the original! Did you change it back, or is it the system messing up? It was a gray cat just a moment ago... I'm asking because someone told me they see the Twitter logo when they look at my profile picture, so it might be the PFP system messing up!
@@Marcmb haha, the grey cat is one that I have on my ig profile /spkoftdvl but I don't know why it will show here on TH-cam that is not related to Facebook 😂 a glitch in the matrix (?). I have another stealth guide suggestion: Firestarter, specially Day 1 (hard af but fun) and Day 2 that I'm pretty sure there is no clue for the right boxes before the hack but maybe I'm missing something there 🤔
I see, thanks for clarifying, very useful! So knowing that you did not change it yourself, it might indeed be the system messing up people's profile pictures. That explains why someone is seeing the Twitter logo as my PFP, even though I'm not changing anything. Thanks again! As for your suggestion, I will definitely do Firestarter in the future! DAY1 to complete it without running out of body bags solo, and DAY2 as well. As you say there are no hints to find the correct boxes before hacking the computer, but there are some approaches to make the whole day very easy!
Oh hi again Avid, haha just noticed there's 4 comments from you on this one, thanks for your thoughts! That is indeed a very good approach. When I enter from the dock side and rush the room to my right, I also kill the guard if he's in there, as I mentioned in the video, but I don't particularly go out of my way to use any pagers.
@@Marcmb i have a few more but i cant really put them into words its like when you are trying to explain something but you cant find the proper word for it

I can't watch it right now, but I'll already leave my comment: I was trying this heist some days ago xD. Can't wait to watch!
Thanks gabmoita! Glad you're looking forward to this one :) Enjoy it whenever you have time!
It should definitely help with whatever questions you may have had a few days ago when you attempted it!
so... did you watch it
Did you end up watching it?
I really suck at this heist, thanks for the guide! I’m trying to finish it DSOD and this definitely helps.
Good to hear this one will help, Toaster, thank you! Hopefully it clears up any doubts you had about the heist :) Good luck with your DSOD progress!
@@Marcmb So is it stupid me and my buddy couldnt stealth this because the guards were too strong and kept surviving shotguns, but we switched to the thanatos and we did it first try.
@@connorbranscombe6819 Very, since guards die in one hit to any weapon during stealth
@@edwardking9359 Well yeah no shit, they can still see bodies like crazy.
And I mean as I said, failed about 20 times doing it with locos, beat it first try with one of us using a thanatos.
Damn, practically memorized the entire layout of this map trying to get the speedrun achievement. I still will probably learn something new.
:D Those are some high standards AstronomicFailure, very kind of you! Hopefully I was able to teach you something new :) Maybe a set-up for some shotgun-launches, or some useful trip mine placements, or maybe the palm tree shortcut!
Just do the Pacifist guard type , usb hack and dont forget to put tripmines
I've been suffering on this heist quite a bit, glad you uploaded this, thanks for all that you contribute to the community my guy
That's great to hear Brayden! Glad that you're now able to enjoy the stealth part of the game as well, and glad that the guides are helping with it :)
10:22 counterfeit memories
I've never considered to avoid the guards outside to be faster, but it looks so much easier. I think I will give this strategy a try.
Great Video.
Glad you liked it Warum, thank you! The sneaky/pacifist approach is always my go-to strategy. So much faster and less risky, plus you can also get rid of some free guards while waiting for the 90s hack. Good luck, whenever you have time to give this strategy a try! :)
@@Marcmb Thank you
I watched this video for 2 minutes and then I had all the info i needed, the exterior and interior guards. One has no pagers the other one does. Did this heist in under 45 minutes on my first try going quiet, making it 100% easier than going loud! Thank you!

@@MarcmbThrowables and the slight buffs burglar brings is the only reason hacker is not my go-to stealth deck
However getting tombstone requires you to kill 200 enemies with the poison *effect* (not the weapon) which is absolute bullshit in my opinion, but I’ll check that out too
@@ya_homeboy_prophet I got the achievement a long time ago, but I'm 99% sure that even if the enemy dies in 1 hit, as long as the weapon has poison effect, it will count for the achievement (at least for the Syringe melee weapon).
As for the choice of perk deck, it's always a personal choice in the end, so no worries! :D
another good one man! lost it at the part where you climbed a palm tree to get back to the roof. that was excellent!

hehehe finally i’ve been waiting for this!! might sound unfair but can you do diamond heist next? it really is another heist i’m having trouble with! i really appreciate it marc!
I think he already has a video out on the diamond
@@nicklemay8056 there's three heists with the name diamond in it, the diamond, diamond heist and diamond store.
Hey Kaan! I assume you mean the Diamond Heist, because I think you mentioned it in the past together with Scarface. As *@Nick* mentions I already have one for THE Diamond, but the heist names are very confusing :p
As for the Diamond Heist, it's definitely on the list and it'll be done _soon-ish,_ but there's 3-4 others that have higher priority at the moment... however, I have the entirety of August off, so I'll start writing the script for a few of them, and planning what I want to teach about each one, to get some work done ASAP!
I stopped playing PD a while ago but I still watch all your videos. They are all so cool and informative, good job!
Enjoy!!! :D

This is a stealth heist that I’ve been meaning to get to, but it’s just so damn intimidating, thanks a lot mate ^^
Thanks for making this, I’ve managed to do the heist in stealth but I’ve always been making it way harder than I needed to

Glad you're enjoying my videos, I appreciate it a lot :)
As for your question at the start of the comment, we do indeed use only the ingame chat, without any kind of voice chat. There was one exception however: the recent GGC "semi-rush" was so complex, that we did all our practice and recorded runs while being on voice chat (but as you say, I separated it from the ingame sounds, and included only the game sounds).

@@Marcmb I'm enjoying it:)
That's good to hear! Thank you as usual juan :)
@@Marcmb :)
I was waiting for this moment to come. Yeah!! 😄😄

I got a mod for a FPS boost so I can play more comfortably now, and this heist was one of my favorites to stealth. Will see what amazing tips you have to offer yet again marcmb! Will try getting back into pd2 tomorrow! Thanks.
Hi FaDon, it's been a while! PD:TH is a very good game too, I would probably play both if I had more time :D

One of my favorite stealths so I'm happy to get better at it
Very nice, Klasick!
Omg thanks for making this guide and i dont know if u remember me commenting about this but yeah thanks so much!

Hey PL4Y5TAT10N! That is great to hear, thank you! Sometimes I worry that I'm adding too much detail, so it's nice to see when heisters appreciate it! Especially when I can bring loud heisters a little bit closer to stealth :)
I'll do my best to keep it up with my content!
Awesome job again. Still fun to watch you break down these heist after all this time. :D
Thanks a lot Nosgard! Glad you're still enjoying them, and thank you for your continued support! I appreciate it a lot :)
I always screw up when i need to find the tape recorder so this was much needed. Also had the time to be very early today
Hi Dreamer! That is a very early comment yes, very nice! I included a very important tip about trip mines for the transition from tape recorder to phone. Hopefully that's useful! :D
Didn’t expect this heist to be here but it’s a marcmb vid so ill watch it!
:D Thanks EYM, hope you enjoyed it!
@@Marcmb I really did and learned about the rewire skip. Really informative video as always.
That's good to hear! Much appreciated :)
Right as me and my friend did this yesterday in our quest to do every stealthable heist stealth. Ah well, still a good video
Lately it had been requested quite a lot, so I decided to prioritize it :D
Proper hiding of the corpses outside is key to get all the loot, otherwise you get a chain reaction sooner or later.
Thanks for the guides and content you always hype me to steal some loot stealthy :D
Glad you're enjoying the guides and the content, thank you voll! Have fun with all this, and enjoy the stealthy stealing too! :p
8:10 you should never do right side wall launches, they can be spotted by guards in the locked-up section of the mansion. Use body bags there instead
Glad we agree on that :)
In fact, I showed all the killing tips for newer players (who are more suited to that kind of playstyle, even if the heist takes longer) but for the run showcase I went for the full pacifist approach. So much better! :D
8:00 "ONE THOUSAND YEARS OF DEATH!!1!"
That's a huge RIP for him indeed :D
Note to self: this map has so many guards that failing this heist is common
Haha that's a fair note! Hopefully your recent attempts ever since I left have been better, Ve12!
Yuss!
I'm gonna study this...and then break the rules!
;)
The soundtrack for this one is so good! Break the rules, amazing song... hopefully you enjoy the video Hugh, most of the video has that song as background music! :p
Finally. I've watched everything I need. I can die peacefully 😌
Haha thanks Ano Nim! Glad you liked it :)
Exactly the video I was looking for damn glad I subbed a bit back been having issues with this one
Glad I was able to give you a guide for this one, Denen! I still have some other heists that I need to make a guide for...
Hope the tips helped! :D
35:09 I can't safely kill any pagerless guard there, 2nd floor's window is see through for a pager guard if there have any.
When you alert Sosa and then fail because his health while alerted is very high and his gunshots trigger the guards
Haha yup, that happens! I believe he has 3,000 health without his armor, which is quite a bit for stealth. If you miss your shots and alert him, it's gonna be painful!
Really useful! Thank you!
You're absolutely welcome! Happy to hear the guide is being useful, thank you :)
Thanks bro, you helped me out so much. I used this method to grind offshore money and I can finally afford my first infamy now.
Happy to hear that, Mr. Brown! Sorry for my late response (I've been away for the last 3 months), but I'm really glad my video helped! :D
Pretty cool heist, even tho it takes a lot of time to even get to the inside of the mansion, but it's pretty cool anyway
Hi The Ranger! If you use the rewire skip, it only takes about 3 minutes total to get inside the house. Definitely try that out, and good luck! :D
Stealthing this heist makes me feel like I'm playing hitman again
Absolutely, very true! So many enemies and you can take them all out silently. It's really a good heist and very unique because of this part!
rewatching now that i bought the legacy collection, A) even while NOT eating this video is fucking hilarious, but anyways, B) at 8:00 that is a SMOOTH fuckin shot, u shot him perfectly over the camera, not even an actual person on the cameras would've seen that kill lmao
Welcome back to this video, Stevie! Glad you enjoyed it once again :p
I rewatched that scene, and that was indeed a beautiful shot!
No worries, all questions are OK :)
Since the damage fall-off patch, you need very high damage for shotguns to kill at long range. I personally use High Value Target, and Berserker (with either Frenzy, or molotovs). My full build is in the video description!
@@Marcmb tysm!!
10:27 actually figured this out myself pretty quickly lol
Very nice, geteriking! Personally I would've never found it by myself, because I generally take my time with these interactions: not a big fan of button mashing / fast reactions! :p
Finally, the only stealth I can't do!
Hi there Cotton! Glad to hear that this one might be very useful then! Enjoy it, and good luck with the heist! Hope this helps :D
This is going to help me so much bc I'll get halfway through this heist and mess up
Haha, good to hear this will help, brandon!
It's unfortunate when you always fail halfway through...! I guess the part with the coke and the phone is giving you trouble? Make sure to check out the trip mine placements, and the example clips of how to use them to their full potential: that will help a lot!
@@Marcmb what is your shotgun and what do you use on it
Hi brandon! That is the Locomotive 12G. Here's my weapon + all its attachments in a timestamped link, if you wanna check: th-cam.com/video/KDB0dR8ku9s/w-d-xo.html
@@Marcmb thanks this will help alot
For the final room, I usually prefer to enter from the roof side and kill the guard standing there
That's definitely an option too!
@@zenthous9568 That sounds like a reliable way then. Makes sense to be extra thorough while checking, yup! Better safe than sorry :D
I just got the dlc’s so this was perfectly timed
Awesome, perfect timing! Hopefully the guide helps, and have fun with your attempts, Nick!
@@Marcmb I have already tried the yacht heist and failed horribly
Haha it can be a bit tricky at the start... I don't have a guide yet for that one, unfortunately! :(
@@Marcmb looking forward to it and I will be using it
Glad to hear it! I'll definitely have the guide in the future, and hopefully my uploads until that one can be useful too!
Payday 2 Tryhard edition:
14 tripmines randomly on walls
stolen coke , vault emtpy , usb guard doesnt respond , same guy on 4 diffrent radio voices.
Guard: Seems legit to me.
I mean.. How else would u done stealth? tbh ive never seen stealth movies/films its always
Aggressive.
@@Marcmb Damn, the creator of vids reply to? man ur alive Legend haha,
Haha thank you! I read all the comments because sometimes I find good ideas for new videos! :D
Does anyone know how to do the jump at 14:50 ? I can get on the roof but I can't seem to jump high enough to reach the ledge to jump again.
While I agree that for loud it can feel like the alarm is taking forever to go off, when you need to stealth for ~8-10 minutes (or 15-20 for new lobbies), those bodies outside are bound to get spotted at some point :p
And the worst part is that, if you get a chain reaction, any enemy who is killed after 3 seconds of being alerted has a 10% chance of firing his weapon. Definitely way too risky for me!
@@Marcmb also i realised the control phase takes longer the more you are into the stealth part when in sosas office takes about 2 minutes 30 seconds when in the laptop hacking it takes about 20-15 seconds
Oooh now _that_ is an interesting fact! I never go loud personally, so that's something I never would've learnt. Thank you for this one!
Just something to note you might have forgotten to mention: The cameras shut down after you kill Sosa.
That's absolutely correct Dark, yup! I didn't find it very useful to mention because you can't really afford to have corpses in camera view anyway, and for loot moving most of the time there wouldn't even be any cameras in the way. However you're 100% correct yes!
@@Marcmb That's fair enough. I felt it was noteworthy though : )
@@MyUsersDark It's definitely cool to mention yup! It's certainly an information that's good to have. Unfortunately it didn't come to mind while editing the video because it has no impact at all on the gameplay haha :D
Sup Marc!

Amazing! Glad that my guide was able to help, and congratulations on your completion as well as 100% achievements! :D
@@Marcmb yeeeee thx
Almost didn't recognize you :p
This heist is huge for a new heister, and that must have been quite a challenge, certainly.
As you say there are no hints to find the correct boxes before hacking the computer, but there are some approaches to make the whole day very easy!
it took me so long to full stealth this heist
Very nice GreatAc! Hopefully with the information given here I can teach you some small new things, and that makes future clears much faster. Enjoy!!
The most important thing to remember for this heist is to not get caught up in the best song in the game. Yeah I said it, fight me.
I'll definitely agree that Break The Rules is an amazing song. It's so good! Not sure which one takes the top 1 though, that's hard to say... :p
TH-cam really don't wanna recommend me this thing I need when it comes out?
Oops sorry about that Shayne! No idea what went wrong there. Glad you found it, and hope you learnt some useful new tricks! :D
''i'll go with the pacifist way instead of clearing this whole place''
Proceeds to kill the green guard and one guard from this whole place
Hahaha it's more ""pacifist"" rather than "pacifist": you only get rid of those who get in your way, but everyone else is allowed to survive :p
Pro tip:I usually take out 2 guards in the mansion area then 2 guards in the red room makes it easier to move
@@Marcmb i have a few more but i cant really put them into words its like when you are trying to explain something but you cant find the proper word for it
That's fine, no worries! Take your time, and if you have more interesting things to add in the future, just edit or reply or send a new comment!
@@Marcmb rightyo
