- The San Martín Bank has one of the coolest entry / breaching plans available, where a car drives straight into the bank through the front doors, to open a path to the inner vault areas. Of course this entry plan is thoroughly tied to loud gameplay, with the cops being called immediately, ensuring that stealth players will never be able to enjoy this. Unless...?
Using some old tricks, and certain faulty loud triggers (as previously featured for Lost in Transit and the Black Cat), here is the third ever Loud ECM Rush. Enjoy!

Hey everyone! First of all, sorry for the delay since the latest video... lots of technical issues, and lots of time spent playing during the anniversary event (oops).
I am pinning this comment to ask for some feedback -- for this video, I recorded on a new PC, using new recording software, and edited with new software also. Can you see any noticeable changes in the quality, or perhaps some things I should improve in blurriness or framerate? This is entirely a new setup, so any feedback will be greatly appreciated. In any case, thank you all for so much for watching, and hopefully I'll be able to resume the usual upload schedule after this! PAYDAY 3 is very soon...

I really like the idea of a “stealth” mission where you just blitz a target before the cops can respond

Exactly! Like a lockdown heist. Controlling everyone who might be able to sound the alarm, so you get some extended minutes of stealth. Would be nice as a concept for many heists.

on difficulties hard and below you only need to blast either safe with a C4 charge to finish the mission, and then you can just get back to the van immediately and its done

I love how this could easily be the loudest stealth that could happen in canon, the payday crew just locking down the entire **block** and ensuring no information gets out
Exactly! It would be quite nice as an intended mechanic, some kind of stealth involving full control.

@@lillycutie3806 :D I get lots of ideas from the comments yup, so reading through them is really fun! I might get into custom heist building someday, and make some kind of heist where there are several buildings with civs going in and out, and you have to fully control one of them without the people outside noticing...

I wonder if Overkill when developing this heist, they anticipated something like this being attempted and put extra civilians as a way to prevent a soft-locking stealth/loud idea.
They'd probably put like a forced loud trigger as a failsafe, or something.
could just be that the map always has spawning civs for stealth and loud. One for a possible fail state, and the other to give a chance for hostages to exist at the final steps of the heist. I've not played this one, though.

This loud-stealth mode its weird, its like the police knows you are robbing a bank but at the same time they are not sure what is happening so they dont send a full assault

Exactly yes! It's like some other heisting games where, rather than sending a full assault, they send just a few cops to investigate (and if there's no report from those cops, the situation doesn't escalate). Very nice stuff :D

edit: also, speaking of mods, back when I was learning this strat with a duo I found that having a "civsdown" mod installed (which would change the alerted icon of downed civs) made the heist much easier in smaller groups as the stealthy flamethrower would get all civilians down, and everyone remaining with the regular alert icon would be guards only. If anyone wants to try this out and doesn't have a 4-man lobby, it could help significantly, though the icons disappear as normal once fake loud gets started.
This is most certainly a way to "stealth" a heist. Super excited to see what you will come up with in Payday 3!

Wish I knew about this when trying for Gunpowder Glory. It'd be harder compared to this with the 'no entering the bank before truck' condition sure, but certainly easier than actual loud if it still works.
I got it by turning AI off and sticking near the back of the bank, used the Hacker deck to ECM-F when I had to get the drill bits.
Oh my, the voicelines. The main reason I still occasionally play it again, getting skipped especially the more hilarious ones 16:49 I find just too funny. Sometimes I do wish they could overlap it'd be a different kind of funny but this way it's cutting them off is fine too. Hope the sequel also interrupts them so strangely it's always good for a laugh when a medic bag line interrupts a mission objective one.

This would be even funnier in PAYDAY 3, with the cars driving in front of the broken bank, and no one noticing :p

This reminds me of when my crew "stealthed" the bank heist on Firestarter. How?
We killed everyone so fast that no one had time to call. We took the guards out first stealthily to ensure that the pagers were handled then just mowed everyone in the lobby down with a minigun, a belt fed MG, at least 1 RPG, and the pistols the actual stealth build was running while the rest of us were built like tanks.

That's a good one yes! Back in the day it used to be a good XP farming strategy, because there are only 4 pagers, so you can go in loud, control the entire situation, and still take the 4 pagers before or after that...
Now I wanna see more loud stealth heists
The guard at about 18:05 who spawned out of nowhere is spawned by the roof navlinks being activated, for some reason
This happens if a player goes on the roof and the alarm goes off, like it did at 17:25
Found this out while messing with San Martin's mission scripting for a mod, it's really weird
Edit : minor mistake, only happens if both conditions (alarm, player ever went on roof) are met

Yes!! We modified our loadouts to be able to deal with those :D Really fun to melt through the turrets.

I'm not sure about that. Breaking a window might just sound the alarm and that car break-in seems to be alerting the whole map and putting it in special state WITHOUT sending off the alarm
@@guddahmit4866 didnt you watch the video? He clearly does it by breaking a window in one of the attempts
maybe having the car thing activated is what puts the map in that strange state? or when the car spawns on the map? and that is what stops the car crashing in automatically setting off the assault
wow I never thought this would be possible, what a great find! May I request a step by step tutorial? :p I think the transitions between objectives, stopping stuff with ecms and all spawns could be expanded upon in a separate vid :)

I wonder if payday 3 stealth will end up as janky as in 2, I could totally see you stealthing all heists with no mask on!
Also I'm a bit desperate and this might be the last place I can find an answer, I can't run PD2 since "epic" update, I don't even have that much mods, custom tony and injector sounds and pocohud, I'd be glad if anyone could help!
Im not a pc gamer but got the free version on pc haha, I had a mate who had issues with his payday 2 and told me he used a tool to 'fix' the game data. That tool is part of epic's kit. I read that other people reinstalled the game.
As for myself, its been running smoothly with few mods haha
I had the same issue. Deleted all my mods, reinstalled the game. None of it worked. But then I deleted “WSOCK32.dll” which worked for me.
Epic update had a lot of internal changes that broke SuperBLT, so just update SuperBLT and all mods
Get a fresh install of payday 2 and add your mods back. This is what fixed it for me.
Thank you all for help! Reinstalling mods, blt and most importantly, beardlib solved the issue!

@@Marcmb was the first 2 mins of the heist, we got off the boat and his audio started playing as if he was next to us wasnt untill we ziplined up and open a door it stopped was a weird bug

You need to make a second channel for loud with the name Marcmloud and make the channel logo the same with a dark red tint.

We were very confused about what was happening with the civilians, so I decided to install this common HUD to see how many civilians there were, and when. As for the flamethrower, it is extremely satisfying :p I love how it breaks random props with just a quick tap!

Basically, we're abusing the fact that these heists have some faulty loud triggers, which cause the heist to go loud (cancelling all pagers on the map) without actually starting the assault :)

Exactly! Actually I disabled most of the settings to not make it too obvious, but for the final attempt at 16:30 you can see I had the civilian counter on the top right :D
This is the only good DSOD channel. Only way to enjoy that BS difficulty is through stealth
eh, no, just use good perks and skills, and most importantly, play smart. and its really not that difficult

you guys underestimate how powerful stockholm syndrome is, a saw could potentially control the whole map
Hey Nintendo! We were actually using Stockholm from the beginning (the two SW players using HE weapons), but we didn't swap to Stockholm Flamethrower (300m range compared to the Saw's 75m) to deal with the respawning civs until the very last run shown. The reason we didn't bring it earlier is because we weren't sure what was causing the failure (hidden triggers exist in unexplored strategies like this one, possible IT guy behaviors, at first we didn't even know that there's endlessly respawning civs because this doesn't happen in stealth, etc...).

Hey Unknown! That's a feature from the HUD mod "VanillaHUD Plus". The icons for civilians, guards, and cameras, will all be different.
